Sinister

"Ho ho poor Angstrom~." A person chuckled in a yellow black caped suit staring down menacingly, could be seen floating on top of a building with part of its roof ripped off. A black man and kid holding a fox were looking up at this figure in fear.

"You thought you could hide from me? My god, look at you. Pathetic." The Mark said in a mocking tone, smiling. "Your really making me feel bad man." He said while crossing his arms, looking at the boy under his black shaded visors.

"I tell you what." He disappeared, moving faster then what they could react to, reappeared behind the boy holding his neck. "I'll like the boy quickly." Mark said it like it was a normal Tuesday. The father of the kid, eyes widened.

"Noo!" Running to towards them, blood splattered on his face. Seeing the boys head being ripped off his body from the neck down, Mark held it between his hands.

"Ah fuck!" Our Mark woke up with a mind-splitting headache. "What the hell was up with that strange, very fucking realistic dream?" He shook his head realizing something different. Sniffing he smelled an awful stench.

Covering his nose he looked around finding himself in what looked to be an alley by a dumpster. "Just great, where am I now?" He floated off the ground, getting higher to get a good look at where he woke up at. 'I'm near civilization now.' He thought in excitement. 'Wait, was that bright light a portal? Had to be. No way I could've gotten here coincidently.' Looking at the city, he noticed something that made his mind freeze. A light in the sky, a symbol. The Batman symbol shingling brightly in the sky.

'I'm in Gotham!?' His eyes looking up at the bat symbol in shock. 'First I wake up in Marks body and now this? Can my day get any worse?' He thought in sorrow, heading straight to the ground. Not wanting to get the attention of the Batman, or anyone for that matter.

'Okay, I can work with this. At least I'm not alone anymore, but in a universe where gods exist. I mean at least in Invisible there aren't any gods that can poof you out of existence. Oh, and you can't forget mind rapers.' Mark put his hands on his hips, looking down at his body. 'I'm almost naked and covered in dried, flaky, sticky blood, a lot of it too.' Rubbing his hands together, he watched as the dried blood crumbled down to the ground. 'I need a shower.' He thought with a disgusted expression. Just when he was about to fly off, he felt a force hit the back of his head, accompanied by the sound of metal bending.

Mark quickly reacted by turning his body, his right hand clenched, back handed who ever dared to hit him.

CRUNCH

Fully faced towards the attacker a pit formed in his stomach. A man with bloodshot eyes in what looks to be his thirties had his jaw missing from his head, blood streaming out of his mouth.

"Cough cough!" The man choking on his blood stumbled back and fell on the ground, convulsing.

"I-I…" Mark looked at the man on the ground. "I didn't mean to-" BOOM! He heard a explosion following another after another, the ground shook. Mark frowned even harder. Holding his breath he was instantly exiting the atmosphere of Earth, leaving a crater in his original position.

'I killed someone…' Mark was sitting on a rock watching the earth from the moon. 'Way to go, you killed someone as soon as you got to another universe.' His fists were closed tightly on his knees. 'I mean he probably deserved it right? He was attacking me and paid the price for it.' Mark inhaled and exhaled out of his nose. 'Yeah, he deserved it for being so stupid. It's Gotham so he's probably done a lot worse than killing someone. There's no reason for me to feel bad for that man in the first place.' Mark with his guilt mostly gone flew back to Earth, going nowhere near Gotham again.

'Damn, I could've worn that guy's clothes.' Mark realized a little too late though. 'I think I'm gonna go to Metropolis, it's much nicer and cleaner than Gotham.'

*Grumble*

'I need to eat something too. I'm honestly surprised I'm just now getting hungry, how long has it been since I've ate?' After a few minutes he finally spotted what he was looking for. How did he know it was Metropolis? He was looking at a tall building with a Earth like structure at the top with the words, Daily Planet on it. Pretty obvious if you watched anything that has something to do with Superman. 'Ah yes, Superman. I pray to god he doesn't notice me, I'm not really in the mood for chatting l.'

The sky was still dark with no signs of the sun coming up anytime soon. Finding a empty house for that was for sale wasn't that easy, the easy part was breaking in. 'Shoot, I think I broke the windows screws open.' Mark thought while sliding through the window of the house. He plans on staying here for a while right now as long as the owner doesn't visit.

Going to what looks to be the living room, he plopped himself on the carpet floor. Mark sighed in pleasure. "This is way better than sleeping on sand." Floating off the ground a few inches, he stretched his body popping his joints. 'Ah, that's nice.' A comfortable silence took over his thoughts. 'I'm gonna think about what my next move will be for tomorrow. Right now? I'm gonna get some well deserved shut eye.' He thought completely forgetting the random man he murdered in cold blood not even an three hours ago. Well, that might be for the best.
