While Allen looked at what he had and what he could even do, Orion suddenly rushed into the room with Aza following shortly after.
"LORD! The undead are here!"
Allen jumped up and spoke seriously, "Let's go."
"Lord I have Edward preparing all the fire mages to fight the undead."
"Alright. Orion how many troops are ready to fight?"
"Lord, Henry is currently organizing the wolves to prepare for a battle. Derek is making sure all normal humans stay safe."
Soon on the horizon, a large group of undead appeared. Unlike the unruly undead that he expected to attack at the slightest sight of life, these undead all looked very organized as if they were an actual army. Allen could see the several different groups that made up the entire army.
Standing at the very front of the army was a creature that looked like a pale white human that was at the point of starvation. The undead carried a staff with a glowing red orb at the tip. Behind the undead was a group of heavily armored units on a horse covered in blue fire. There were only ten in this group, but their presence made it hard to think of them as simple. Allen also understood that the least amount of units typically meant stronger, so this might be the Lord's extremely powerful subordinates.
Still, it wasn't the only powerful force that could be seen, it was just the one that stood out the most with their glowing flames. All around there were nearly fifty Shadow Ghouls all commanding a group of zombies, lower-class Ghouls, and a curious ball made of bones that seemed to be sentient. Each Shadow Ghoul was leading anywhere from 5 to 20 units. It was hard to tell exactly as there were simply too many!
Looking at the massive army at his doorstep Allen spoke loudly, "I am Allen, the Lord, may I know who you are?"
The leading undead looked to Allen then its' thin skin warped as it smiled widely. Pausing for a moment it brought its' hand up and started rubbing its' chin for a moment before a hoarse harrowing voice came, "I had heard there was a large amount of prey that had gathered here. Who could have guessed it was another Lord like me?"
Allen wondered if this confirmation of the creature being a Lord was a good thing or a bad thing, but he also understood he could use his talent to his advantage. Still, he needed to make sure the creature would not attack first and ask questions later.
"Yes, I am a Lord like you. Now. Who might you be?"
The undead's smile seemed to get even wider as he spoke, "Human, I am Adriri of the Janro Empire."
"It seems pointless to say where you are from now that you are here, did you rule that Empire?"
"Huh? I assumed almost everyone knew of my grand Empire, that said I can not remember if I ruled..." The undead seemed to get lost in its' own thoughts as it spoke, "I can only remember that I held a high position... Did I rule?... My race is Lich which is only below the Herald so it is possible..."
Allen was left to himself as he had to wait until the undead woke up from his thoughts. This took nearly a full twenty minutes as he waited for the undead to seemingly wake up from its' thoughts.
As he waited a man riding a wolf quickly approached Vain from behind. As he saw his Lord in a standoff, the man spoke quietly, "Lord..."
Frowning Allen spoke quietly, "What is it?"
"Lady Addy has come to the camp with a message. She has told me to pass on this message to you, would you like to hear it?"
"Sure, tell me."
"She said, 'You don't come and visit anymore? I have been waiting to tell you all about my great finds! Come over quickly so I can tell you in person unless you truly plan to not follow my stipulations?' After which she mentioned if she didn't see you within the hour she would come and find you and make sure you can't escape."
"Hmm... Tell her I might be about to enter a tough battle, and she can come if she doesn't mind getting hurt or fighting."
"Yes Sir!"
After which the man mounted the dire wolf and quickly went back to the camp. Allen didn't know how much of a help Addy could be, but he did understand anything with the giant tag should be powerful enough to help. Of course, due to stipulations, he couldn't just force her to fight for him.
After an hour of just waiting the undead seemed to not move still, but as a low rumbling sounded, the undead finally seemed to notice the situation. "Oh, where was I? Also, it seems you seem to be bringing in a friend. Now no need to be so anxious, we undead are not unreasonable beings like dragons. Instead as one Lord to another, I will offer you this opportunity... Become an undead like me and I will transform you into an undead of at least Glorious type!"
Allen suddenly wished the undead didn't wake up as he understood a fight would probably take place. "And if I disagree?"
"Well, in that case, the highest level of undead I make you will be at Epic type if even that. Most likely you would end up being an Enhanced type." The undead's smile seemed to become wider and wider as it spoke.
Allen knew he couldn't just accept it, after all where he came from, physical power wasn't that important, instead, the concept of Humanity was considered the greatest thing for all humans. Humanity represented how a human should act and how they should be proud of being a human. It is because of this that Allen completely ignored the offer and instead wondered how he should act when a fight broke out.
After waiting for Allen for a while the undead seemed to not want to wait as he spoke again, "I will give you ten more minutes until I have decided you have chosen the latter."
This put great pressure on Allen as he hoped to wait for Addy to arrive before fighting, but knowing how slow she was, she would likely need a few hours. Thinking of this he paused for a moment before finalizing his plan as he turned to Aza. Speaking softly he asked, "Are you ready?"
Aza smiled as she spoke softly back, "Lord, I have all the Great and Glorious Fire mages ready to aim for the Skeleton bombs first to start the battle. With Henry, I have planned all regular Fire mages to hopefully create a magma wall that should route the undead a bit."
Hearing her plan Allen was surprised at how well she planned to use each mage she had control over. Thinking a bit longer he spoke softly, "That's good, but the light mages should do something. Wait until they act before attacking directly. Orion," Turning to Orion he spoke in the same soft voice, "tell all the Great and Glorious Light mages to cast Faith of Light on all attacking mages on my signal. Aza after you feel the strength rushing attack without holding back. After the preliminary attack, I will have the wolves go for a frontal attack."
As they talked about their plan a hoarse voice broke them out of their meeting, "Your ten minutes are up!"
Hearing this Allen roared, "Mages cast Light of Faith on Great and Glorious Fire mages!"
Orion and Aza also gave orders as she and Henry Built walls of earth focusing on more walls rather than sturdiness. This lack of sturdiness in the walls allowed the fire mage's, flame wave, to melt the earth easier than they would with regular stone.
As orders were given, the mages all did as told making several explosions ring out throughout the battlefield. Before this, the undead were too far away to see their stats, but as they neared he was able to see some of the undead's stats.
