Testing out his new wolves as a ride, Allen brought along the swordsman and had the wolves spread out more to see what he could find close by. After all, when the two days of safety are over all wild animals will view his base as a free lunch.
While moving around carefully the group soon found two animals who were staying close by. After moving close, Allen soon saw two green foxes at the very edge of the house's fear-inducing radius. As he didn't really check the foxes before when he ordered their deaths, this time he tried to observe them like he observed the crystal making a panel pop up in front of him.

The foxes looked at Allen like he was their worst enemy which might be true considering he had killed everyone else in the fox's den. Still, he needed even more food now that he had the big wolves. After gathering all the wolves and the slow-moving swordsman, Allen ordered an attack from a distance to understand these animals more.
"Attack them! Make sure there are no injuries!"
The Dire Wolves all attacked working together very well while the swordsman struggled to dodge the fox's attacks. One fox didn't attack at all and waited behind the attacking fox without moving. As the fox wasn't the main worry for the attack and the attacking fox had already become extremely bloody and would soon fall.
As if on cue, the grass all around grew rapidly and trapped over half the wolves making them immobile. The unmoving fox then launched an attack on a nearby wolf who was tangled by the grass.
"Stop it!" Quickly trying to stop a tragic death Allen quickly gave the first order that came into his mind.
Two fast-reacting wolves blocked the incoming attack as the last free-attacking wolf did its' best to stall the heavily injured fox as its' partners escaped. The swordsman helped with cutting the grass making the wolf's entrapment short lived. Within five seconds all other wolves had escaped and killed the heavily injured fox. The other fox was even more short lived dying faster.

Ordering one wolf and the swordsman to take the food back Allen took the chance to keep exploring.
After half an hour of walking Allen finally found his first sign of water with a loud waterfall easily heard in the distance. After another 5 minutes, the waterfall and a river could be clearly seen in a clearing. A green deer was seen drinking water further away.
Just as Allen was admiring the breathtaking scene a large crocodile jumped out of the water and latched onto the neck of the deer. The grass around quickly withered and the deer seemed to gain strength and started dragging the crocodile onto the land. The crocodile seemed to summon water and seemed to shove the water down the deer's throat trying to drown it before it escaped.
The very intense fight between life and death soon ended as the deer had already reached the tree line forcing the crocodile to let go without its' water to attack. Under the careful watch of both deer and man, the crocodile sauntered back to the water as if nothing happened.
Still needing water Allen carefully walked to the edge waiting to see any other crocodiles on the surface of the water, but after watching the water for a full ten minutes there was no sign of crocodiles or anything. There wasn't even the crocodile from before to be seen. Still, after a full day of walking water was still needed.
"Drink. Be careful. If one attacks try to get away from the water as fast as possible while the others attack."
Just as the first wolf took a sip of water a crocodile jumped out of the mud and bit at the wolf's neck. Ready for attack the wolf quickly pulled away doing its' best not to get bit. The crocodile barely missed and ended up flying into the air right past the wolf landing close to where Allen was at.
"Get over here! Bite it on its' mouth!" The useless knowledge about animals he would never encounter suddenly became relevant. The loyal wolves didn't question their master's instruction as they attacked aiming for the head. The crocodile noticed the enemies and opened its' mouth wide to try and scare them as nearby water floated over.
With a lucky bite, the crocodile soon found its' mouth had been forced closed and unable to open as two other wolves made sure of it.
"Attack everywhere! Make sure to get rid of its' eyes!" Assuming that the crocodile needed to see to control the water, Allen quickly gave instructions on top of his mount.

Soon the Crocodile found itself struggling against too many enemies as its' strength was rapidly fading. With its' main weapon being blocked and the crawling back to the water being too slow, the crocodile used its' only other skill that could possibly save it. [Water Manipulation]
Large amounts of water quickly moved in the crocodile's direction even revealing another crocodile that was nearby. Unfortunately, it didn't have enough mana and just as the water reached the crocodile it only washed the wolves while the crocodile lost all strength after that. A short while later killing the Water Crocodile.

[Level Up!]
Excited about the level up Allen didn't even hesitate and opened his statistics as a warm current flowed throughout his body.
[Lord: Allen]
[Level: 2 (3/20)]
[Blessed by the Laughing God]
[Talent: Talent Devour (F rank)]
[Class - NONE]
[Vitality - 3]
[Strength - 3]
[Agility - 5]
[Intelligence - 2]
[Stat points - 5]
[Skills: Bestow]
[Note: Stat points are your gift from god. Just a little pain for big rewards!]
Looking at his statistics the skills section suddenly really stood out to him, "F*ck! Did I really forget to use my only useful skill?... I don't think I am fit to be a lord controlling people if I forget such simple things."
Still, he didn't hesitate any longer and decided to test the only skill to his name.
[Choose which stat you wish to bestow.]
[Vitality - 3]
[Strength - 3]
[Agility - 5]
[Intelligence - 2]
Seeing his current stats Allen thought long and hard about what could be useful. After all, he has the spare stat points he can assign to whatever he wants. If he wants more damage he should dump it all into strength. If he wants extremely fast troops that can't be hit he should put everything into agility. At present Vitality is useless since the Dire Wolves and Humans don't have great vitality anyway. Intelligence has to do with magic and no one under him has any magic skill.
After questioning for a long time he decided to test the effects of [Bestow] when he chooses strength. Very quickly the wolves became visibly bulkier than before, but the change was very small.
[Bestow: +3 Strength to nearby troops (Time Limit: 6 min.)]
[Cooldown: 12 Hours]
Seeing the time limit Allen decided to experiment and add one point to intelligence to see if this skill is using magic. Just as he added one point a huge headache clouded his mind. The sharp pain lasted for a full minute before slowly disappearing.
"Is that what it meant by pain in the notes? F*ck does it mean 'little pain'!" Shaking his head and complaining to the god that gave him that great pain.
[Intelligence - 3]
[Bestow: +3 Strength to nearby troops (Time Limit: 9 min.)]
Excited about his discovery Allen decided to think about what to spend his points on more deeply while ignoring vitality stat completely. Still, he sent his wolves off to drink while he thought about what he should spend his points on.
A full hour later Allen had also tried his luck and gotten a drink. Their luck was pretty good as the only nearby crocodile didn't attack or even move. Still, this full hour was only to decide what to spend his points on.
"Full speed! If my enemies can't hit me what can they do against me?"
With that Allen happily upgraded his agility to 9 only to feel his muscles and tendons start to cry in agony. Every muscle and tendon seemed to catch on fire and break before reforming and doing it all over again.
"WHY AM I SUCH AN IDIOT!" Allen's desperate cry could only be heard by his wolves who didn't understand what was attacking their master.
Useless knowledge like crocs can't open their mouths as long as you softly hold them closed.
