Store - Hidden Self Mask - Chapter 21

Aron did not waste much time; he asked a young boy on the street where he could sell his materials, and the young boy directed him to a general store named Balstoy General Store.

Aron found the place in just three minutes.

"A simple-looking store, not shady-looking..."

He thought and entered from the open door.

"Hello, customer, what do you need?"

As he entered, a mustached, middle-aged man welcomed him. Aron looked at the man, smiled in return, and spoke.

"I have three insane teeth on me and would like to sell them."

The mustached man nodded.

"Okay, place the teeth on the counter table; I want to look at them."

Aron did what the man told him, and he asked.

"I did not expect an inspection of my teeth. May I know the reason?"

The man with the mustache smiled as he took one of the teeth and looked at it. As he looked, he also started speaking at the same time.

"It is because some smartasses think that they could rip me off; as you know, these teeth have a value of ten Aiwa coins, and those people try to sell the teeth of ordinary wolves or dogs to me."

Aron nodded and remembered that there were lots of people on the outside who begged for food and many other people who seemed malnourished.

It is only natural, for in these kinds of places, there will be many people who want to do anything as long as they eat for one more day.

The mustache man, after looking for some time, nodded happily and placed thirty coins on the table.

"Thirty Aiwa Coins, you are okay with it, am I right?"

Aron nodded, then took the coins and placed them in his pocket.

He stopped for a second and noticed a black and white mask with only eye holes on it.

"What is this mask?"

Aron asked.

The man with the mustache looked at the mask Aron was looking at and laughed.

"Hahaha, you have a good eye."

"This is a mask of black and white; I do not remember when I got it here, but I thought it was interesting, so I bought it."

"If you want it, I can sell it to you for two Aiwa Coins."

Aron nodded and then placed two coins on the table and took the mask.

As he was leaving, the man shouted behind him.

"My name is Rick Balstoy; if you have any materials or anything interesting, I can buy it from you."

-

Aron, after leaving the general store, smiled as he held the mask in his hand.

He looked at the mask when he was in the store because he found it interesting to look at. He did not forget to scan it.

-----

"Hidden Self Mask"

"Origin Item (Magic Item)

"Level 5"

"The mask can hide the energy of the user from other prying eyes."

"Note: If the level difference between the user and another individual or group is more than ten levels, the mask will not hide the energy.)

------

Aron at that time knew from this point that the mask was an important item and worth too much.

Not to mention that it is important for him to have an item like this; considering his Pathtaker class, it would make sense to hide his energy if he could do it.

"The scan ability can be used for appraising items and finding valuable ones to buy and sell, which means that even with just my scan ability, I should have no problem when it comes to gathering coins for myself."

Aron learned a new thing, and his confidence increased again as he walked with more heavy and robust steps.

He took a deep breath and wore the mask.

"It is comfortable to wear."

Aron commented, and then the sound of his hungry belly sounded out.

"Yeah, it seems like I need to eat something."

He then started to look for an inn to stay in and eat at.

He was tired from all the new things he had experienced, and he wanted to eat as much as he could and sleep on a comfy bed.

He thought he deserved this much, at the very least.
