Good read!

----

"Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome."

- Booker T. Washington

----

The dust from the collapsed building began to settle, and from the debris, Daniel emerged, a wide, manic grin plastered across his face. His body was torn, his clothes shredded, but his eyes gleamed with excitement. He wiped a trickle of blood from the corner of his mouth as his laughter echoed through the ruined streets.

"Heh… finally!" Daniel chuckled, his voice thick with exhilaration. His body hummed with power, and his mind raced with the thrill of the fight. This was the moment he had been waiting for.

In an instant, a massive black circle formed beneath his feet, spanning hundreds of meters. It was Daniel's Void Rend, but this time, it was different, larger, more refined, more brutal.

Gun rushed toward Daniel without hesitation, his body moving with deadly speed. But Daniel was faster.

With a single step, Daniel disappeared and reappeared behind Gun, slamming his recoilless fist into Gun's back with the force of a wrecking ball. There was no wasted energy, no shockwave, only raw, concentrated power that hit Gun's organs directly.

BAM!

Gun's body jerked forward from the impact, but he didn't stop. His unconscious state drove him to retaliate with a flurry of savage blows, each one faster and more precise than the last. But Daniel was untouchable now. His movements were no longer just martial arts, they were brutal, almost animalistic, yet flawlessly executed.

He weaved through Gun's punches, dodging each one with surgical precision, countering every attack with recoilless strikes that pounded Gun's body mercilessly. It wasn't just skill; it was violence given form.

WHAM!

Another recoilless punch landed on Gun's chest, rattling his ribs and shaking his internal organs. The once-indomitable Gun Park, the White Ghost, was now struggling to keep up, his body trembling from the onslaught.

Daniel smirked and shook his head, sighing in mock disappointment. "Damn… Did the sperm stamina finish already?" He grabbed Gun's fist mid-swing, effortlessly stopping the attack with one hand.

Gun's body froze for a moment, his vacant, glowing black eyes flickering. Daniel's face shifted from excitement to something more somber as he delivered a final, powerful recoilless punch directly into Gun's abdomen. The energy rippled through Gun's body, causing his organs to tremble and his brain to rattle in his skull.

The force was enough to knock Gun back into consciousness.

With a violent gasp, Gun's Ultra Instinct flickered out, his eyes returning to normal. He staggered, clutching his stomach, his face contorted in agony. The pain that his unconscious state had suppressed now flooded his body all at once. He coughed violently, blood spraying from his lips as he looked around, dazed and confused.

"What… what just happened?" Gun asked, his voice shaky, his body trembling from the unbearable pain.

Daniel, still smirking, looked down at Gun with a raised eyebrow. "We're in trouble, that's what happened," he said casually, as if they hadn't just leveled an entire neighborhood.

Gun barely had time to process Daniel's words when the world around them lit up with blinding lights. The sound of engines roared through the air as military vehicles and police cars surrounded the area. Helicopters hovered overhead, their floodlights illuminating the chaos that had once been a bustling part of the city. Officers, heavily armed with riot gear, emerged from every direction, their guns trained on the two men.

The realization hit Gun slowly. He glanced around, still disoriented from the fight, watching as the police and military units closed in, their weapons at the ready. "What the…?"

Daniel, on the other hand, seemed completely unbothered. With a sigh, he pulled out his phone, a device that was barely functioning, its screen cracked and flickering from the damage it had sustained during the fight. Daniel hit a few buttons, dialing his crew.

"Yo, I'm cooked, gang," Daniel said with a wide grin as the call connected. His voice was light, but the seriousness of the situation couldn't be ignored. "We fucked up. Real bad."

On the other side of the call, Eli, Warren, and the rest of the crew were huddled around a TV, watching the news coverage in stunned silence. The camera zoomed in on Daniel and Gun, now surrounded by military and police forces, their hands up as officers cautiously approached.

"Daniel," Eli's voice crackled through the phone. "What the hell happened?!"

"Nothing much," Daniel replied casually. "Just… you know, accidentally destroying half the city with Gun. No big deal."

"You're getting arrested for terrorism!" Warren shouted in disbelief, his eyes wide as the news ticker at the bottom of the screen flashed the words ACTS OF TERRORISM, TWO SUSPECTS APPREHENDED.

"Yeah, that's what it looks like, doesn't it?" Daniel said, laughing. "Anyway, gotta go. See you guys soon… hopefully."

Back on the news, the scene continued to unfold. Daniel and Gun were placed in handcuffs, their faces illuminated by the flashing red and blue lights of the police cars. But even as they were led away, the cameras caught glimpses of Daniel's smirk, still unfazed, still confident.

The live feed was flooded with comments from viewers across the globe, each one reacting to the chaos in real-time.

"Is it just me, or are those guys kinda… hot?" one commenter typed, earning hundreds of likes almost immediately.

"I mean, if I was gonna get blown up in a building collapse, at least let it be by someone that handsome," another joked.

"They're superhuman. Look at the destruction! This isn't normal!" a more serious comment read.

"They need the death penalty for what they've done. Look at the destruction!" someone else chimed in, adding fuel to the fire of public debate.

As the media continued to speculate on who these two men were, questions of their identity and the extent of their power began to circulate across the internet. Were they heroes? Villains? Something in between?

....

As the camera panned to show Daniel and Gun being loaded into armored vehicles, the world watched, and for the first time in a long while, everyone was left wondering the same thing.

Who exactly were these two men? And what would happen next?
