It's been half a year since I came to this world. It's been fun and productive for me, as I've spent most of my training time in the Greed and Lust IDs. The results? Quite a few items and a new beast.

Through the boosting of their int and wis stats, I had confirmed my theory that by putting points into those stats would help develop them into Holy beasts. I don't have much hope of Spook becoming diamond rank, but Alice definitely has the potential to reach it. The current Alice after constant Purification's looked like a dainty human woman with lithe and gentle features. While she currently couldn't be called a beauty among the elves, she was rapidly regaining that preternatural grace. The charmed flame however? Hehe, since I didn't plan to let the prostitutes die in this world when the thousand idiot sect tried to kidnap Ah Xian and Shuang'er. The Charmed Flames power speaks to my heart, and I intend to cultivate it into the spirit of flames replacement. Many would ask me how, since that beast had a core of Nirvana flame, well I'll use the same flame of course, yes I'd learned a bit more about this world when I'd reached level 50, including the fact that I will be able to get the Phoenix sisters when I turn fifteen.

As it turns out, my original karmic merit that was destroyed when my knot was broken was quite outstanding. Apparently I was going to win the lottery within the month and at the orphanage I was going to donate it to, a child would grow up to cure 8 different types of cancer. However without me winning the lottery his fate instantly changed causing him to never attend school.

Why my broken great merit mattered? When I wished for the well being of my family, the god who sent me here used my wish as a legitimate reason to interfere with my original world, creating a fake me who did the above mentioned acts, restructuring most of the damage done to the fate and karma of the world. Apparently he was praised by the 'Absolute' and as a thanks to me for the karma he received, the affects of my wishes were improved. According to what he said in the tutorial he left to play when I hit 50, the original Yue Yang was never sent to another world, and the pitiful guy was never part of the Yue Clan at all. I was of course twitching slightly at the changes he mentioned making to help me enjoy the world more. With all the changes he had mentioned I was no longer sure of the future events, I might have started cursing him if he hadn't told me that the worlds general fate hadn't been altered much. Well It was annoying, but he could just force the issue for certain things, such as fourth uncles assassination. I had nothing against the guy, but I doubt I could make the very noble Ah Xian fall while he was alive.

As for worrying about my future strength, well from the information he left me my maximum strength after using the system to its limits would make me 10x as powerful as the strongest gods in this world. From what he said I would reach the level of a god king, just below the massive dividing line of becoming a god sovereign. Well a bit of that was useless information, however now I had to make a huge decision. To contract the original grimoire now or to wait? It was this question he was brooding on. He new that every time he leveled up he would receive rewards from the ancient code, so he wanted to get a few beasts beforehand to help level them up when he began power leveling his grimoires. Though would that be worth it? I was torn by indecision, what if the ancient code gave me a powerful beast?

All I could do was sigh, there were too many what ifs now that I couldn't be 100% sure about the future. After smacking my head a hundred times during a mental debate, I decided to contract the original grimoire when I got the Phoenix sisters, then I'd get Xiao Wen Li and start seducing Fei Wen Li. I'd at least have reached the fifth level of the 9 Heavens Spear Qi in the next 8 years.

So that settled my plans, although I couldn't level up right now, I could train my skills and beasts. I can also train the the crafting skills I had been putting off. Speaking of skills, I glanced at the skill books I hadn't used after obtaining them. They contained mostly skills I had no interest in, like the Fast Cut Skill. The only books I had used so far were books for the elf and dwarf Runes, which led to the discovery that I could use skill books 3 more times after learning the skill. It had the benefit of increasing the level of the skill by 5 each, which gave me 30 levels in the Mortal Runes Skill, since the books were for the Elf and Dwarf Runes. The skill books could probably be used by my beast, though I was hoping to teach these low class skills to servants.

With a small smile, I pulled out the only Alchemy skill book I had obtained as well as a Smithing skill book to learn. They both shattered into small balls of light and floated into my body as the information appeared into my head. Well I knew how the skills worked, but I didn't learn any recipes for them. I had a bitter smile on my face as I began to think about where to get medicinal recipes without going to see that old dragon lady too early.
