I woke to the sounds of chirping birds singing outside the window.
I sat up straight on the bed and stretched my arms, feeling the relaxing pull of my muscles.
I glanced at the rugged, rustic log of the walls surrounding me, and smiled.
It's good to be back to the cabin and so relieving to be far away from the busy buzzing city and all its chaotic noise
And away from all that drama, and everyone.....
I paused "Brad," I rub my palms over my forehead.
Fuck, my morning amnesia. Gosh, I forgot I came here with him.
Where is he?
I hop out of the bed and wore my flip-flops to go look for him.
"Brad." I knocked on the door of the bathroom but I got no answer.
I walked out of the room to the living room and my nose was hit with a delicious aroma of a meal.
"Finally awake, crazy?" Brad said. He was hovering around the dining table filled with plates housing food.
That's where the aroma was coming from.
