"The interview is over?"

I'm actually a terrible liar. I would look away but her intense stare dared me not to even blink. I should might as well be honest, "I don't know to be honest, your son is undoubtedly very attractive so as a young woman I am bound to be sexually attracted to him. I don't know if I'll reject him or fall for his charms when it comes to the test."

She smiled an actual genuine smile, "Thank you for your honesty." She asked a few more questions and luckily they weren't as weird and abnormal as the first three. It turned out that I knew a lot more about fashion than I thought.

She shook my hand, "Thank you for coming. We'll contact you when a decision is made." "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to interview." I smiled as I left, that actually went a lot better than I thought it would.

I was sure she would target me after the incident this morning but she kept things professional. I wondered where Hayley was, I desperately wanted to thank her for all she has done for me. I went to the closet like room we were in. Her back was turned to me, I wasn't sure what she was doing but she was inhaling deeply whatever was in her hands.

"Hayley?" She jumped and immediately pushed whatever was in her hand inside her bag before turning her around, "You startled me." I chuckled, "Sorry about that."

"The interview is over?"

I nodded, "Yea, you're mom is very professional, it's like the incident this morning never happened." She chuckled, "My mom doesn't let personal feelings interfere with her work." She handed me the clothes I wore earlier, "I got them washed and ironed for you."

I pulled her in for a hug, "Thank you, for everything." She wrapped her arms around me, "It was just my way of apologizing for the whole jail thing, it's no big deal."

"Umm Hayley?"

She hummed in response.

"We've been hugging for a while now, I think it's about time you let go." A blush rose to her cheeks as she pulled away, "I'm sorry, its been a while since someone hugged me like that." She looked away, "It felt nice."

She's so hard to understand, one moment she's serious, don't mess with me Hayley then another moment she's cute, blushing Hayley. Choose a personality please.

I pulled her in for another hug, "You can hug me as much as you like, its the least I can do after all you've done for me." Unfortunately, this is all I can offer her at the moment as a thank you.

We stayed in each other's embrace for a long while but then my phone rang and I was forced to pull away from her.

I walked over to my bag to pick up my phone, "Hello?"

On the other end was my grandmother in panic mode, "Katie? Where are you?" "I'm still at Faux Towers, what's going on?" Her voice cracked as she spoke, "It's Hannah, she's gone." She's gone?

I started to panic, "What do you mean she's gone?" Hayley placed her hand on my shoulder, "What's going on?"

"Grandma, I'll be there soon." I ended the call and turned to Hayley, "My little sister is missing, I need to go." She grabbed her bag and ran behind me, "Let me drop you home, my car is the parking lot downstairs." I nodded and we ran to the parking lot, literally. Running in heels was like running on rocks down a hill for me so I kicked them off but Hayley ran in them like an Olympic pro champion.

"Look for a red Mercedes," she shouted from the other side of the parking lot. My eyes danced along the cars as I ran pass the them. I listed them as I ran by, "Porsche, Lamborghini, Range Rover, Ferrari, Mercedes." I reversed, "Red Mercedes, found it."

"Hayley, over here!"

She quickly ran over and opened the car, somehow she was more in a rush than I was. I barely got the time to slip on my seatbelt when Hayley went hard on the gas pedal. I was forced backwards in my seat by the speed the car dashed out of the underground parking lot with.

Who needs Jason Statham when Hayley is right here?

My life flashed before my eyes each time Hayley swerved out of a vehicle, I might just die before I reach home. I was going to ask Hayley how she knew where I lived but then I remembered she went there with the cops.

Speaking of cops, we reached my house and my police cars and onlookers were everywhere. Hayley was about to come out with me but I stopped her, "My grandmother isn't as forgiving as I am, you can head back. Thanks for the ride." She looked a bit disappointed but she nodded, "I understand."

She held out her hand, "Give me your phone." I gave it to her and she typed in her phone number, "Please keep me posted and don't be afraid to call if you need my help." I nodded, "I will, thanks."

Immediately after I left the car Cloey ran up to me, "Thank God you're here." "Where's grandma?"

Cloey pointed to my house, "She's inside." We hurriedly walked to my house. My grandmother was on a chair sobbing while Mrs. Margaret from next door was patting her back. "Grandma."

She looked up when she heard my voice and hugged me sobbing more than before, "Ella se ha ido, Katie, ella se ha ido." I turned to Cloey, "How long has it been since she left?" Cloey sighed, "We're not sure, when your grandmother saw that she didn't come down for breakfast she went up to check on her and the room was a mess and the draws were bare."

Cloey fished a piece of paper from her pocket, "She left this on the bed." I read it aloud, "Hey guys, by the time you see this note I should already be out of the country. I'm heading for the big city, chasing my dreams you know. I'll come back when I'm big and famous, don't worry too much okay. Bye bye."

Don't worry too much okay bye bye? My blood was boiling as I skimmed through the note a second time. "Hannah Fucking Martinez I'm gonna kill you as soon as I find you." I ran out and Cloey ran after me, "Katie where are you going?!"

"I know exactly where she is."

She ran after me, "You think he has something to do with this?"

"Of course he does, he's behind all of this."

She caught up to me, "Shouldn't we take the cops with us then?" I turned to her, "That'll just scare them off, this a two man mission. Are you with me?"

She looked back at the cops then back at me, "I'm with you." I smiled, "Thank you, now let's hurry." We took off and headed to the old bar down the road.

Hold tight Grandma, I'll get her back home.
