I didn't spare a single detail, I even told them about my broken friendship with Cloey and all the events leading up to it, and that includes her ex-boyfriend going rogue.

Sebastian leaned back in his chair and puffed his cheeks, "You and Cloey have been best friends for years, I can't believe it just ended like that."

More like I can't believe she allowed it to end just like that.

I shrugged, "All good things eventually have to come to an end."

Sebastian frowned, "But she's your best friend, Katie."

"Was my best friend," I quietly corrected.

Sebastian sighed, "I'm sure the both of you can talk it out."
