Living as God

Walking along the sidewalk while playing Clash of Clans, a young man by the name of Jonah Peterheart was suddenly summoned by God to an empty dimension. Follow Jonah along as he creates his multiverse and has a relaxing life being omnipotent. This story may not seem to be a fanfic in the beginning. but the MC will go to several fictional worlds, so yeah. The first world he travels to is an OC though, so if you can't stand reading it, wait until he goes to a fictional one. *More of a slice of life story* DISCLAIMER: This story will not be anything serious! I'm writing this in my free time, so I can't be bothered to write anything professional. There won't be a deep plot behind everything. I'll try to create some little side stories on a few worlds, but that's it. This book is more about the MC's new life as God and him having fun. I'll write whenever I want, so there won't be a fixed update schedule. Somedays there might be 5 chapters, while some weeks there might be none. I'll try to keep it at, idk, 3 chapters a week? Anyway, enjoy the story. WARNING: Extremely Insanely OP MC: NO HAREM I do not own anything except for the MC of this story.

CHAPTER 6 - HELPING SOME LITTLE GIRL

[1795 words]

Jonah was sat on one of the bar's chairs, drinking some soda as he observed everyone talking to each other. Yes, the living room had a bar.

He loved this room's atmosphere right now. It was filled with love and kindness. But one thing bothered him a little bit...

"Pssst. Mortem, come here," Jonah called him.

Mortem was next to the living room's fireplace, alone this whole time. Hearing Jonah, he got up and walked to him.

"What's up, Mortem? Why are you alone over there?" Jonah asked.

"Nothing's wrong, Pops. I just like being alone sometimes." Mortem explained.

"Hmm. You sure?" Just to be certain, Jonah asked.

Mortem smiled at his father's concern, "Absolutely. Thank you for asking, Pops."

"Hahaha, you don't need to thank me. Me, your siblings, and your grandparents will always be here for you. Literally." Jonah laughed it off, "Anyway, how has the universe been? Give me a rundown of what you all did after I was gone if you want to, of course."

"It's my pleasure, Pops. To begin with, I traveled to the afterlives per your order. I talked to Theo and Astaroth, and everything went smoothly. I also added a few things to Heaven and Hell. In Heaven, I added something called the River of Reincarnation. It's a colorful and beautiful river that travels throughout all of Heaven and its cities. If a soul willingly jumps in the river, they will be reincarnated and stripped of their memories and everything that made them what they were, meaning they are just like a newly born soul. Then they will be born inside another body, maybe on the same planet they once lived, or maybe on another planet or even another galaxy. I added this because even in Heaven, some souls might get tired of being there and would like to return to life. Some don't wish to reincarnate, so they stay in Heaven. Vita helped me with making this whole process work.

In Hell, I added the Button of Redemption. In every room, there is now a button. It will always appear inside every nightmare the soul is facing, however, it only appears after a soul has been inside their rooms for 50 years. If a soul truly vows to become a better person and do good things in their next life and press the button, they will be reincarnated like normal. If the soul doesn't truly mean to become a good person and thinks they can trick the button and still click the button, they will be transported to the Void and stay there forever. Vita also helped me with this." Mortem explained what he did.

"Good work, Mortem! I knew I could count on you all. Those are amazing additions. I really like them." Jonah said with joy, "What about the rest? What did they do?"

Glad that Jonah liked his work, Mortem happily continued, "Vita created life across the universe. On some planets, she only created small bacteria that would, given enough time, evolve into intelligent life, while on some others, she already created intelligent lifeforms. Countless planets have already built civilizations and kingdoms. In some planets, she implemented life as soon as you left, while in others, she only created life a few thousand years ago, so there is a big discrepancy. There have already been wars between planets and races, impressive technological advancements, and amazing magical inventions. There are some interesting planets for you to observe. Before I forget, she also created some small gods for some selected planets. There are various pantheons, of which the majority knows of our existence, but not yours. Only a few pantheons know of your existence, but keep it a secret from the others.

"Ordo and Chao worked together to maintain balance in the universe. Although some planets are very chaotic and others completely orderly, the balance has been flawlessly maintained. They erased some civilizations and races for it to be maintained, but it was preserved nonetheless.

"Locus and Tempus also worked in unison to preserve the Space-Time continuum and did a perfect job. There have been races that tried to mess with Time, but we stopped them to not mess with the timeline too much. We let some do it, but they made small things, just some simple temporal loops or small interferences with the timeline. Most of them were able to do it with magic, while very few were able to achieve that level of technological advancement yet. The Space aspect has been calmer. Many civilizations have developed means to travel large distances in instants due to wormholes or portals, and many have done it using magic. Most of them don't use it to cause harm, like teleporting a galaxy to the middle of another, but Locus and Tempus stopped those who tried.

"That's all, Pops." Mortem finished his long explanation.

"Amazing! You have all done an amazing job, Mortem." Jonah said.

Walking to the middle of the room, Jonah addressed all the Primordials, "Kids, Mortem has just filled me in on your doings. I'm very proud of you all. You have brought me nothing but happiness. This universe is only working properly because of all of your combined efforts. Thank you! And Ordo, don't kneel!" Ordo was stopped.

"We should be thanking you, Dad. You created us. You gave us everything. Thank you!" Chao said while almost tearing up from her father's words.

"THANK YOU!" The Primordials said together.

Needless to say, Jonah, Amanda, and Jack were a crying mess from these words. Amanda and Jack were so proud of their son because they believed this was one of the happiest days of their lives, and Jonah because the Primordials' words moved him.

"FAMILY HUG, RIGHT NOW!" Jonah shouted with tears.

"YAYYYYYYYYY..." Vita joined in happily.

.

That was about 8 hours ago. Jack and Amanda left not long after that to fill their universe with stuff. They saw Jonah's one, so they decided that it was time to create theirs as well.

Jonah spent some more time with his children after that, but about 1 hour ago, they all went to their rooms because they didn't sleep even once when Jonah was gone. They were a little mentally tired now, so they went to sleep for the first time in their lives.

Currently, he was flying through the universe, trying to find some interesting planets to observe.

Coming up on one that was very similar to his Earth, he stopped for a moment and started observing it. He was floating in space now, next to this planet's moon, but he increased his hearing and vision to hear and see things as if he was standing on this planet's surface.

This planet seemed to be at an almost medieval-like age, but it had some differences from Earth's one. Geographically though, it was nearly identical to Jonah's home Earth.

As he observed everything from space, he picked up on something that was happening.

Running on a tree-filled forest was a little light-haired human girl. She wore tattered clothing with a cloth headband, sash belt, and leather sandals laced above her ankles. Her left eye had blood dripping out of it, and by the way she was running, it seemed like she was being chased. She had an arrow stuck to her left shoulder, so yeah, she was being hunted.

Searching for her were many human men on top of horses, while some dogs were a little in front of them.

"Damn, what happened here?" Jonah said. He then used his omnipotence to gain information about this little girl and what led her to this state.

"Hmm, I understand now... I'm not gonna let this go on." He said to himself as his face had gotten dark.

Stopping time on this planet specifically, Jonah began to think on how he could help this little girl.

'I don't want to save her using my powers; I want her to save herself with her own power. I want her to be strong, so she doesn't have to go through this ever again. I'll give her that strength.' Jonah thought.

This little girl's name reminded Jonah of someone. Someone mythological. Her name gave him the perfect idea for the power he would give her.

He was going to create a parasite. Yes, a parasite that would give the girl the power to save herself and never be afraid of anyone again. But he wasn't going to create it now; he was going to create it in the past. He needed this parasite to get naturally stronger throughout its almost limitless lifespan so that when the time came, it would be able to help the little girl perfectly.

Turning this planet 49 million years in the past, Jonah started creating this parasite. Vita had visited this planet at about this point in time, so there were only some very pre-historical lifeforms around this age.

For now, this parasite would be as small as a pebble. What differentiated it from the rest of the lifeforms on this planet was that this parasite would have the highest survival instinct of all creatures. It was going to do everything needed to survive. It also helped that Jonah made it nearly immortal and that it regenerated from basically every injure. It was almost an anomaly from nature. The thing is, it wouldn't be able to reach its apex of power until it had a host. It was a parasite that helped the host while doing nothing to harm them.

Creating this parasite and setting it down on some part of the ocean, Jonah fast-forwarded time on the planet back to the moment he watched the little girl. He moved some sticks here and there to make everything work out perfectly. Unstopping time, he got back to observing.

The little girl had just stumbled on a tree root that was above ground, but when she looked up, she could only see a massively tall tree. It had a hole on it next to the ground, so the little girl thought it was the perfect place to hide from the hunters.

Walking inside this colossal tree, the girl unexpectedly fell to a pit of water. The tree was hollow and had a pit inside.

As she slowly sunk deeper in the water and almost drowned, something spine-like glowed beneath her. Naturally, it was the parasite that Jonah created, only much bigger and powerful than what it once was...

He also made some douche king that made this happen to her kill himself. His soul was naturally brought to the Void for his overly disgusting actions.

Happy with his work, Jonah continued his journey to find interesting planets, "You now have all the power you need. Good luck, Ymir Fritz."

[A/N: MC will be going to an OC world next chapter. He'll visit anime, movies, etc worlds soon. Give me some suggestions please, thanks. Thank you for the support.]
