:Marvel Universe:

Puente Antiguo.

A charming little place.

In the state of New Mexico, the remote town is home to a wide assortment of people with strange quirks and hobbies.

Perhaps it was the lack of people that caused them to be weird, with some even believing that aliens were real.

(A/N: News flash, they are real!!! You can't tell me otherwise! I'll wait for my hot alien momma to beam me up!)

And eventually, they had their sign.

On a warm summer night, a satellite fell just a few miles outside in the desert. The impact shook the earth, forming a crater over twice the size and depth of a public swimming pool.

Though, upon further inspection, they found out it was no satellite but a hammer.

A hammer did all of that? They all wondered.

Seeing such a thing could quite possibly spell disaster, so they did the best thing they could do with the tools available to them.

"WOooo!! FUCK YEAH, GET THAT, HAMMER!!"

They held a town event for it.

It was like their own King Arthur story, or so they believed. Many of the townspeople came out to try to pull the hammer while others watched and cooked some well-deserved BBQ.

The townspeople had no idea what they were messing with, and even if they did, they probably wouldn't have cared.

"Oooh!~ I just can't wait to be kiiiing-Fuck my fingers!!"

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and before long, some unsavory folks may come along to ruin the fun.

"We have eyes on the object."

In a swift and coordinated operation, a cadre of individuals clad in sleek black suits descended upon the vicinity, swiftly transforming the surroundings into an ad hoc encampment accessible exclusively to their authorized personnel.

The once unassuming location now resembled a covert military base.

There were signs of disputes, but a large group of people with guns typically win in these types of situations.

After everything was settled, they brought in their scientists to study the hammer, hoping to learn its secrets. However, no matter what they tried, they couldn't break it even with the strongest of drills.

"We still can't find anything about it, sir, nor can we move it." A man said while talking on the phone. His name was Phil Coulson, an agent of Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, better known by its acronym S.H.I.E.L.D., is an American extra-governmental counter-terrorism and intelligence agency tasked with maintaining both national and global security.

On paper, that sounds normal, but what they really deal with are the unknowns.

Aliens, myths, and mutants.

If one ever wondered why most strange happenings become rumors, it's because of these guys.

"For now, stay put. I have a feeling something is going to happen soon." The voice of an older gentleman came from the phone. He sounded tired but, more than anything, annoyed.

"Understood." Phil nodded before hanging up the phone.

After giving the hammer one last look, he gave a few nearby agents orders to keep watch as he took care of other things. However, before he could leave, he started to hear commotion over the radio.

Someone was breaking into the camp.

Unbeknownst to them, something else was happening just a few miles away.

:???:

A dream...

Or at least that's what Emil thought he was having.

One moment he heard Mona scream at him, and the next, he found himself stranded in space.

Was it strange that he somehow felt at home?

He gazed upon the dark abyss and the countless stars, and the only thought running through his head was, "I've been here."

There were millions upon millions of stars and galaxies, and yet he felt like he knew each and every one of them—everything from their likeness, color, and...inhabitants.

As he was getting lost in this feeling of familiarity, he noticed something from the corner of his eye.

Rising majestically, a tower of gilded spirals stretched endlessly, transcending the very boundaries of the cosmos.

He had no clue where it stopped or even began, but for some reason, he was drawn to it like a moth to a flame.

("Em..il...")

"Huh?" Before he could observe the tower any further, he heard a voice. It was familiar, but it was like listening to someone speak through an old radio, choppy and full of static.

("Emil...")

There it was again.

("EMIL!")

:Marvel Universe:

Within the hastily erected military encampment, encircling an enigmatic artifact, a man with blonde hair stealthily infiltrated the premises.

For a time, he was unspotted, but it didn't take long to get noticed by the guards. They tried to stop his advance, but the man was determined, striking them down like they were mere children.

There were many chances to strike him down, but they were told not to harm the individual fatally. Soon, the man reached his destination, his lips curving into a smile as he approached what he had long lost.

The hammer, Mjolnir.

If one were to know its name, then one would know that the hammer belonged to a god.

The god of thunder, Thor.

'I will finally claim what is rightfully mine! Wait for me, father.' With that thought in mind, he grabbed hold of the hammer, tightening his grip to pull it out.

But...it did not move.

"What?" The man couldn't believe it. He was unable to move the hammer, not even an inch.

Undeterred by the relentless downpour, he clenched his jaw, determined to exert every ounce of strength as he yanked the hammer once more. Yet, to his dismay, the outcome remained unchanged.

He couldn't move it.

As his predicament grew increasingly dire, he cast his gaze skyward, unleashing a primal roar of anguish that echoed through the air, a poignant expression of his despair.

He had hoped for a miracle, but it became increasingly clear that he was being punished.

'What am I to do now?' He thought as he fell to his knees. He had no idea what he was going to do next.

He was completely and utterly lost.

*Bzzt!*

However, he wasn't the only one.

In a sudden twist of fate, a sleek black vehicle materialized seemingly out of thin air, materializing right beside him.

Seeing such a scene left him stunned, but part of him hoped it was some sort of sign.

Taking in the entirety of the situation, Phil Coulson, a man of unwavering composure, found himself unable to contain his astonishment, causing his eyes to widen involuntarily as he exclaimed...

"Is that a Jetta?"

•^•°^°•^•°^°•^°

:Marvel Universe:

"Where are we?!" Gwen shouted almost hysterically as she looked around the strange place.

One moment she was petting Lambert, and the next, she was in what looked to be a military base with the man who graciously gave her a ride in his vehicle.

"I have no idea!" Emil shouted back in the same manner. With the weight of urgency bearing down on him, he could not dwell on the peculiar dream he had just experienced.

What is one supposed to do when they find themselves surrounded by unknown people in an unfamiliar place?

They get the hell out of there!

"But I don't think I want to stay to figure it out!" He said, slamming on the gas pedal.

*VRROOM!*

The 2021 Jetta roared to life as it mowed down any obstacles unfortunate to be in its path.

Regardless of whether the car was designed for off-road adventures or not, such trivial concerns became irrelevant in the current situation.

"I'm going to have to pay so much money when I get back..." Emil groaned.

Unbeknownst to him, though, he was still streaming as the levitating camera was still diligently recording everything that was happening.

∆Hellfair2 - Holy crap, this is a movie?!

∆Guea435 - Is this supposed to be some kind of trailer we don't know about?
