I saw her as she fell, I saw her as her body lost its human form and transformed into a small lynx. I saw her as her body was lost in the dense forest. I saw it all, but one could do nothing about it. I saw my brother staring at that scene with terror and I saw how the stupid little idea of jumping after her began to form in his eyes. I saw the priestess watch the scene in horror, shock, and fear. She knew that the mistake he had made today was going to destroy her life. That the saint there fallen into the forest of oblivion, was such a great pity that you did not even have the right to choose the forest of oblivion as your punishment.
For a moment I did not know what to do and I just stared at how everything happened quickly, it was not until I saw my brother's intention to jump that I managed to react and stop him.
Brother wait! - I yelled at him while holding his arm.
"She… she fell because of us… I wasn't able to take care of her… I am not capable of taking care of anyone…" He muttered to himself while looking at the lush forest.
- Brother, we have to go to town to find reinforcements! We alone will not be able to find it. - I told him while I was shaking him tried to get him to react.
-Uh ... yeah, yeah. Let's tell the people in town. -
Without taking a second glance at the priestess, we ran to the town to tell all the members about the situation. It was complete chaos; everyone went to the forest with the weapons they managed to obtain, it could be said that the town was completely unprotected and if there was an attack from an enemy tribe, the tribe would succumb. But the saint for our religion is more important than the lives of the rest of the members.
The forest of oblivion is surrounded by a row of mountains that leaves a single entrance and exit. Except for the little lynx that fell from above, there was only one path to enter and exit. Therefore, we all digested to the only entrance there was. However, we didn't know what to do when we got there. So we sent a group to find my father and the hunters since they might have a better idea of what to do.
