Where is Asher?" Malcolm asked Eva.

"In his room," Eva replied she pointed to a room at the right side of the house, telling him to take them, stairs, of course.

Malcolm knew he'd use the stairs. He doesn't have superpowers to fly to Asher's room. While he told Elijah and Reina to wait in the living room. He went up to the child's room. He knocked lightly on the door, not waiting for answers he opened the door and stepped in fully.

Asher didn't know that someone entered his room, he was carried away looking at his mother and father's picture.

A family picture that was taken when he was nine years old. It was his favorite picture. A drop of tear fell on it. Asher quickly wiped his Face and kept the pictures away.

He opened it and checked it out, holding the papers out one by one, he saw Adrianna's name and the fortune Tyson's had given to her.

He went out of her room and closed the door behind him. Malcolm met Reina and Elijah eating, he Was offered food but he has no appetite for foods. He didn't want to leave Asher alone. Not today, Not tonight nor tomorrow. He wiped his face with his face towel and dropped it on the chair beside him.

"I'm not leaving this place" he Bluntly said.

'Why?" Reina's voice was a bit sharp.

"Because I have to stay with Asher and be there for his mum" he replied bluntly.

Elijah didn't say anything. It was not in his place to interfere in the matter of the couple. But he reasoned in his mind that if he was in Malcolm stead, he'd have done the same regardless.

"Your ex-wife!", who wasn't really there for you. That showed up after how many years just because she was going to die soon and she needed someone to put her burden on" There she finally said it, what she has been thinking of since they got to Norwich.

Malcolm was shocked and so was Elijah.

"Do you have anything against her? first of all," Malcolm asked her was getting upset already.

"No I don't," she said bluntly "I'm just so curious as to know why you're getting yourself worked up for her"

"Because she was my wife, my daughter's mother. He paused.

"Someone I used to love" he flared, he was breathing harshly. He flung his arms outwardly and started pacing around the living room. Eva rushed out from the kitchen but Elijah quickly gave an eye that says,

"don't - say - anything" and continued with his food. Reina said nothing, she regretted what she said immediately, she knew if it was her in Brenda's position Malcolm would have done the same.

Also, Brenda had told her at the hospital that she had given her daughters a fortune. She felt bad.

"I'm sorry" She apologized. I have no reason to back up my actions and what I've said: "I'm so sorry!"

"Women and Jealousy," Elijah said in a low voice but clear enough for everyone to hear. Reina eyed him. Eva purses her lips. Malcolm stylishly smiled.

"I'm staying here for the sake of Asher, you both should go back home

"Elijah you should come with Adrianna tomorrow and everyone else that chooses to come along" he concluded.

"I'm staying here with you too!" Reina chirped in, she stood and sat beside Malcolm holding his hand and resting her head on his shoulder.

"We'll be here together," she whispers to Him.

Elijah finished with his food, he was slurping on his water which annoyed Eva but she kept her mouth shut.

Elijah didn't care even though Malcolm had raised a brow at him and Reina slapped her forehead.

"Goodnight!" he said and left gracefully.

As soon as Elijah got back home in Albany. Adrianna had asked after her father and Stepmother and Elijah told her everything that transpired at Brenda's house and the hospital. Her heart weighed heavily on what to do.

She asked herself if she still wants to leave Elijah but will he let her go.

She has made many mistakes and if she leaves him, will it be a mistake too? "The biggest mistake you'll ever make you fool". The voice in her head answered for her.

Adrianna hissed. She was frustrated.

Savannah didn't know what had happened to her because Elijah had paid the press not to say anything to the public and they haven't seen each other yet. So Adrianna had to call her on the phone and explained to her what happened between her and Mustapha, which brought about Savannah's visit to her house that day she got back from the hospital.

Savannah had apologized like her life depended on it. she even came along with her kids. She was grateful that Adrianna was alive and pregnant also. Both of them talked about Random stuff including Adrianna's decision to leave Elijah that deserves someone better.

"You're fucking stupid Adrianna" Savannah retorts, slapping a hand on her thigh. "How could you say that you wanna leave because you made mistakes, you're a sex addict, blah blah blah," she said mimicking Adrianna.

Sighing "what do you want me to do?" Adrianna asked rolling her eyes

"Good!" She clicked her tongue.

"You're gonna apologize genuinely to him because after all, you went through, He's still standing by your side, he even offered to go along to see your mother, you both can work something out together, you can make it work".

"Yeah" Adrianna chewed on her lips, listening to Savannah.

"So if I were you, I'm not gonna act stupid, you're gonna apologize and you're staying with him plus you'll be 27 soon" Savannah has told her and stayed few hours before she left.

She thought about her mother too, if there's any way to show how much she loves her mother and cared for her, it should be now, to make up for the empty space she had felt during the eleven years they were apart.

She stood up from the living room and went to the room she shares with Elijah. "He's sleeping" she whispers to herself. She admires him, the man she is known for a few years after Adolf. She smihair

Elijah groaned before opening his eyes, he was tired and drained from the previous events of the day. Starting from Adrianna and Mustapha down to her Mother and still Adrianna. He yawned.

"Hey wake up" she shook him lightly.

Adrianna was happy she silently thank God in her heart.
