Earlier, when Aeon planned to kill all the Lunar Serpents, he had thought of a solution to another one of his problems and it was his temporary stay for the night.
If he takes care of all the Lunar Serpents, won't the Lunar Serpents' home become his home?
'Even though it might not be as comfortable as the Goblin Cave, it will do just fine for me.'
Aeon only needed a place for the night to do two things. They are:
1) Rest while sorting out battle gains he would be getting soon.
2) Use the Skill Crystal and help his Life Seed awaken a new skill.
'Anyway, let's find it soon and hide before any other monsters come here.'
Even though the chances of any monsters coming to this place are less, Aeon doesn't want to take any chances and settle in his new home quickly.
As for why the monsters wouldn't be coming here because these places were brightly lit and the most active monsters in the night were not fond of light.
However, there would always be an exception and thus, Aeon started searching for their home.
'It might be a small hole or a nest or a cave…I don't know much about the Lunar Serpents. So, I have to look for it carefully.'
Since there were hundreds of Lunar Serpents, Aeon believed that their home would be very close by.
Also, Aeon was not worried about finding a powerful Lunar Serpent in the home he was searching for because if there were really one, it would have already come out while he was killing its babies.
'Anyway, if my guess is wrong, there are still four more protections left along with the Goblin Set Bonus which are enough to escape from it.'
Aeon thought about as many variables and their solutions as possible. Hence, he was not worried too much about anything other than finding the Lunar Serpents' home.
'Is this the entrance?'
Soon, Aeon found a small hole around the size of his arm which was quite enough for the Lunar Serpents to fit.
'Let's dig.'
Obviously, Aeon was not going to fit in that hole. So, he decided to make the hole bigger while maintaining his alertness to the highest.
"Goblin Soldiers, dig here."
Soon, he ordered his three Goblin Soldiers who started digging with their hands with ease.
"It's enough."
Aeon only made them dig enough for a Goblin Soldier to pass through the hole.
"You…go in and check the insides."
Aeon picked the first Summoned Goblin Soldier which seemed to be poisoned a bit earlier in the fight and asked it to enter the hole.
'Nods'
Nodding its head, the Goblin Soldier jumped into the hole.
"Master, there is nothing in this grotto."
Soon, the Goblin Soldier informed Aeon from the inside, asking him to jump in.
"After I enter the hole, close the hole with the branches and the mud drenched by the Lunar Serpents' blood."
With the confirmation from his Goblin Soldier, Aeon nodded his head and asked one of the Goblin Soldiers to cover the hole after he entered the hole.
Moreover, he made sure the hole was covered with blood-covered mud. So that no other monster could enter the cave.
'T-this is…'
As soon as he entered the cave with a little struggle, Aeon was shocked to see that it was not a simple grotto.
The walls of this grotto were covered with luminescent lichen that emitted a soft, silvery glow, making the entire grotto as bright as day.
Even though the grotto looked like a magical place, there was nothing in it; however, it was useful for Aeon to rest.
'No wonder this is home for the Lunar Serpents. They like this place very much.'
The grotto was not big; however, it was not small either and compared to his imagination, this grotto was much better, making Aeon heave a sigh of relief.
'This should be enough to complete my goals for the night.'
With that thought in mind, Aeon quickly focused on the important things.
'Let's call this the Lunar Grotto.'
Aeon named the grotto before focusing on the things he wanted to do.
"You…read the second part of the diary."
First, Aeon asked the Goblin Soldier to read the Blixthorn's Diary.
Aeon wanted to gain more information about the Blixthorn and his village along with any other important information he could get.
So, he listened to his Goblin Soldier while resting his back against the wall.
"I encountered a group of Hornless Orcs led by an Orc Sergeant. As long as I bring its head, the Village Head Wartthorn and the rest of the villagers will praise him."
.
.
'So, the Foolish Goblin is an attention-seeker.'
So far, from what he learned about the Goblin Mage named Blixthorn, Aeon concluded that he was an attention seeker.
Because of this nature, Blixthorn had already taken unnecessary risks and so far, he had achieved great fame in his village.
If only he had not too focused on the Reincarnation Spell, he could have easily become the Village Head of the Goblinthorn Village.
"The attack didn't go as I planned. I have lost 20 of my Goblin Soldiers and I have been severely injured."
"I am collecting the necessary ingredients to host the ritual and once I complete it, I can recover from my injuries."
"Master, the remaining pages are empty."
The Goblin Soldier stopped reading and informed Aeon that was the end.
"You can go back and rest."
With a thought, Aeon sent the Goblin Soldiers back and then took out the Skill Crystal.
'It is time for my Life Seed to awaken its first skill.'
With a thought, Aeon summoned his F-Grade Life Seed and touched it with the Skill Crystal.
Upon contact with the Skill Crystal, the Life Seed started glowing and at the same time, the Grimoire of Life and Death flew towards him.
