During 1st week we started our trip in the capital city of France, Paris. Spent a week exploring its iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Champs-Élysées. Strolled along the Seine river, visit the Palace of Versailles, and indulged in some authentic French cuisine in local restaurants and cafes.

Next, we headed to the northwest region of France, Normandy and Brittany. There we visited the Mont Saint Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most popular attractions in France. Explored the charming towns of Honfleur, Bayeux, and Rouen, and learnt about the history of the D-Day landings at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial.

In the third week, we visited the famous wine region of Bordeaux and the Loire Valley. Tasted some of the finest French wines and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the vineyards. Visited the Château de Chambord, the largest castle in the Loire Valley, and the Château de Chenonceau, one of the most elegant châteaux in France.

We ended our trip in the south of France, where we relaxed on the beaches of the French Riviera and explored the picturesque towns of Provence. Visited the city of Marseille and the ancient Roman city of Arles, both with rich cultural heritage. Explored the stunning Gorges du Verdon, known as the "Grand Canyon of Europe," and experienced the lavender fields in full bloom.

Overall it was a very relaxing and adventures vacation away from all the politics and training.
