Underground auction
So to get into this auction we needed some desgise while this was easy for me as I only needed to change my appearance, this time taking some short gray hair with very white skin the effect made me look older but Lilith didn't like it at all said it looked ugly. So long as no one would recognise me it was good.
Aria had donned a blood red dress that hugged her curves and enough jewellery that no one would even think she wasn't rich. She also wore a feathered mask in an effort to hide her identity but her wings were a bit of a giveaway.
Lilith had put her illusion magic to use and made her look like a tall pudgy man in a suit, it reminded me of a slave trader without the big hat and excessive jewelry.
Our plan was to have Lilith act as our buyer while Aria gave her advice on what was worth buying with me as their security this was apparently the norm for rich buyers coming to these auctions. Although this kind of left me at a disadvantage if I wanted something from the auction as normally guards don't speak or offer any kind of value except protecting their employees. But in hindsight it stops me needlessly buying stuff that looks pretty so this was probably part of their plans.
We are currently in the cellar of Arias home outside the academy looking at Arias wealth.
"Okay explain again why I'm staring at 3 chests full of gold coins." My voice almost drowned by the golden glow seeping out of each chest.
"Master I said angels will try anything to get the attention of who the judge remember?" Lilith commented making sure her illusion was working in a mirror.
"Yea but this is a lot right?"
"There's about 19 thousand gold coins in total." Aria replied trying to keep her wings close to her body. A task she was failing at.
"Told you master, angels feathers sell for a pretty penny if you know where to look and I'm guessing this is how she knows about this auction." Aria nodded at Liliths statement giving up and letting her wings stay about a quarter open.
"And as your guard I'm soppose to carry all this with us?" Trying to lift one was easy but felt very big and bulky when I stacked all three on top of each other not to mention they had rounded tops so just slid off each other.
"No dear bearly 1/3 of a chest will be more than enough to buy the collars but it always pays to bring more in case we need something else."
"And how many collars do you intend to get?"
"That depends dear how many more mates do you intend to gather?" This was never a question I asked myself I guess as many as I could handle? But then again if I did end up living a long time I would probably end up getting a lot. With my silence Aria continued.
"I will get 5 collars for now as that will be one for me, the princess Mia, and for the mermaid if we agree she can join with two spare for the future. Lilith I'm counting your succubus curse as a slave collar as they do the same thing."
"Yip fine by me but master that means you can only get two more mates." I looked at Lilith raising an eyebrow.
"Fine master we'll get some more if we get low buy I'm adding a new condition to you adding mates to your harem. We must have a collar prepared before you give them your blood."
"I agree dear as they do add a weakness to you and this would negate it."
"Fine not like I have a choice anyway."
"You could always ignore us master and take as many mates as you want."
"And leave my beautiful angel and playful succubus behind? Never." Lilith broke her illusion wrapping her arms around me from behind.
"Good master. See this is why we're okay sharing you." Sticking out her tongue Lilith laughed cutely.
"Bad slave." Taking a step away she shook her hips slowly catching my gaze.
"Punish me later masssster." Lilith purred sexualy causing a low needy growl echoed deep in my throat threatening what I had planned for my naughty succubus.
"As much as I'd love for this to happen and more so with me included I feel if you start now dear we will miss the auction." Arias voice of reason cut through my lusting mind as Lilith returned to her illusion.
"Yea I guess your right." Picking up the smallest of the chests and fading my snappers and horns we headed outside with Aria leading the way.
By the 18th turn I'd lost all hope of finding my way back without getting lost but strangely that didn't bother me. Might have something to do with the fact my eyes are glued to Aris butt which was beautifully outlined in her red dress, but Liliths jealous pouting face kind of put me off while she was in her illusion. Will have to get her to pout without it tonight oh the things I could do. Like tie her up in her own rope while I toy with Aria in front of her or better yet watch the girls play with each other. My smile reached both ears as my mind sank deeper into the gutter.
"Aria I think masters fantasising about us."
"Sigh. Snap him out of it we're almost there." Stepping in front of me Lilith forced our lips together jolting me from my 'ideas' as my first thought was I'm kissing a guy.
"Master focus now playtime later."
"Fine Lilith but I'm holding you to it and I want to fully claim Aria tonight." Giggling slightly Lilith returned to Arias side taking on a serious atmosphere as the angel reached a alleyway door.
Bang. Bang. Aria pounded her fist against the door.
"We're closed." A deep grumpy voice echoed from behind the door.
Bang. Bang. Aria knocked again.
"I said we're closed." Opening a little seeing hole a single large eye peered through.
"Oh miss Aria I'm sorry." Opening the door a giant cyclops gestured us in towards a corner, telling us someone will be with us shortly then left us returning to the door.
"An angel knows about the underworld of a city I'm surprised." Aria rolled her eyes looking at Lilith.
"Well I've never heard of a virgin succubus before so we both have our secrets."
"Ex virgin now." Lilith shot back causing Arias wings to ruffle slightly.
"Then it will be my turn next." She looked away before I could comment but not fast enough for me to not notice her biting her lip.
Seems someones looking forward to something.
Letting out a soft growl just loud enough for Aria to hear I was satisfied that her body shook slightly.
"Dear. 'Gasp.' Please stop someones coming."
Stopping suddenly I almost jumped when a door opened and a dark skinned man wearing a rich looking suit stepped up to us.
"Aria it's been to long." Taking Arias hand he kissed it while bowing.
"Hey Steven." Aria replied pulling her hand back after he'd raised himself.
"How have you been? You haven't been there for a long time and are you here to sell? The market for your feathers might have gone down but I'm sure we can still get something for them." Aria held up her hand to silence man.
"One question at a time but I've been great these past months, unfortunately I'm not here to sell today more assist my friend here who's looking for some specific items. I know we're a bit late so do you mind just showing us to a seat." Nodding Steven took notice of Liliths illusion and me.
"Ah I see you found your fated but may I ask who he is as I know for a fact you don't need security for anything." Pointing at me.
"Stephen do you really expect me carry my own belongings?" Shuting up the man looked at the chest I was carrying then back at me.
"Of course not." Turning around he made his way back into the door he came from motioning for us to follow. While he wasn't looking I slid up beside Aria.
"Was that a good idea telling him all that?" Aria nodded looping her arm around Lilith.
"He talks a lot especially when he's drunk and by telling him I'm taken it should decrease the amount of people trying to get my favour plus if anyone wants to get rid of my fated there going to be looking for Liliths decoy here not you. So don't use this illusion again Lilith or you might be hunted."
"Don't worry master hasn't looked at me since I started using this." Lilith grumbled. What I'm not into guys is that a crime?
Nodding to Aria I let them lead making sure I looked like a bag boy as we followed Steven into a small booth with just enough room for 5 people on the seats provided. Taking a gold coin from the chest Aria threw it towards Steven.
"I presume you gave us privacy?"
"Of course only the stage can see you." With that he left us alone in the booth.
Pulling out 3 paddles from on top of her seat Aria showed us how we use them by lifting up the amount we wanted to bid from one silver, one gold or one platinum. Ten of the previous coin made the next one. Copper was not used in these auctions it seemed.
With each of us knowing how the auction worked we pulled back the curtain separating us from seeing the stage.
On the stage stood a woman in a peacock coloured dress holding up a sword with dragon ingravings in the hilt.
"58 gold from booth 17 any more?" Pointing in different directions the woman kept increasing the price till it reached 128 gold and was sold to a booth we couldn't see. Leaning over to Aria I whispered.
"How much is each collar roughly?"
"Not a lot because it requires the person you put it on to want to become your slave and that hardly ever happens." That makes sense and works for me and the girls as the only order I'm going to give them is not to kill me. Slaves are fun and all but I'd rather Aria and Lilith want to be by my side than forced although Lilith is technically already my slave but I'm still classing her more as my mate.
Watching more and more items get sold I became very interested in some of the temporary magic orbs as Lilith said they give you complete control over a type of magic for a brief time. My interest steamed from a gamble that if I could understand the magic while I had the effect of the orb and then instantly unlock it afterwards. Aria agreed to give this a go but first to test it using cheap orbs from a magic item store not some of the black market ones as they were selling for about 8 platinum each. I agreed and promised to not bet on any of them but almost cried when one for teleportation arrived on stage and got sold. Who wouldn't want to teleport?
Finally the collars were brought to the stage, the woman presented a case of 7, each of the collars looking more like pearl necklaces than slave collars to me but the moment they arrived on stage Aria held up the platinum plate much to the surprise of the peacock woman who had to cough before carrying on.
"10 gold for the slave collars, anyone else?" Looking into the darkness for a bit miss Peacock yelled sold as someone in black picked up the case and made his way to us.
"Was that a good price?" I asked Aria handing the man the ten gold and receiving the case. Aria waited till the man left before pulling one of the necklaces out.
"Yes and no, if you have people already lined up to become your slave then yes it's cheap but just having one of these doesn't mean you instantly have a slave." Presenting the one she held to me.
"Blood please." Running my finger over my horn I let a single drop of blood hit the biggest pearl on the necklace. Instantly the pearl turned red while the rest turned black, placing the necklace around her neck Aria began chanting in a whisper.
"I Aria Lantinara offer myself to Lazuris both body and soul for eternity the condition for release be when Lazuris says the words, Aria I no longer love you get out of my sight." Staring wide eyed I watched the necklace dissappear replaced by an eternal chain connecting Aria to me that disappeared when I wasn't looking directly at it.
"Wait you can set freedom conditions?" Lilith commented jumping between us.
"Yes that's why they are called willing slave collars, I can set any conditions to the collar when I put it on but cannot change them when it dissappears." Lilith drooped slightly so I kissed her only slightly put off by her illusion.
"Just means you have to be mine forever Lilith what a shame." Sarcasm dripped from my mouth chasing away her disappointment.
"I guess I'll live with that." She said back with almost the same amount of sarcasm.
"We should leave now before someone notices that we bought the slave collars. Someone might mistake us for slave traders." Agreeing with her I closed the chest of gold as Aria picked up the case of collars stopped by the clop of hoofs coming from the stage.
"Shit." I heard Aria curse as I turned my gaze to the stage. In pure white from her hoofs to her hair stood a centaur.
"Oh crap." Lilith echoed realising what was about to happen. Adorning the forehead of the centaur woman a horn reached out giving off a faint silver light.
"We have a special item available today ladies and gentlemen, a unicorn untouched by anything in all her life." Everything in my mind blanked as my snappers fadded back into reality my eyes glowing with her horn. Both girls beside me cursed again as only one thought went through my mind.
