"By the Goddess's eye." Finrod said under his breath upon seeing the burning corpse.

Beyond that however, was nothing. The demon was gone.

'It's gone?' Finrod knew the demon hadn't died, for he had not received a notification about its death.

He held his breath waiting for it to surface and after a few seconds, a crisped black figure walked past the wall of blue flame.

However, it was different this time around, it looked different.

Large curved horns jutted up and the creature wore a large grin revealing its large teeth.

It looked nothing like the blackened person Finrod had seen lying on the bed, it certainly had her shape but its facial features had changed drastically.
