As the battle progressed one thing was certain, it was a stalemate, at least for now, the dragon had a bad matchup, and I was making the most of it.

It couldn't really hit me, I was faster and could avoid its physical attacks and its fire was ineffective, Kagutsuchi only realized after I was able to copy some of his fire spells though.

Sensei Kagutsuchi was able to teach me an offensive Fire Wall and a defensive one, one that attacks the enemy and one that surrounds me, It also taught me Dragon Breath, which is just a continuous stream of compressed Dragon Fire.

As soon as I realized that he no longer wanted to teach me, I was miffed and I started thinking of ways I could increase my versatility alone.

Then it hit me while I was dodging Kagutsuchi's jaws.

I collected Mana into a ball in my hand while still avoiding my adversary. Once I deemed the amount sufficient I placed a barrier over it using my unique skill. This was the preparation, what I did next was going to be the real idea, I enforced this ball with Ki. What I had made was essentially a bomb I could detonate at any time.

I waited for Kagutsuchi to attack me with his jaws again and deposited my creation into the jaws of the beast wasting no time in running away and detonating it, leaving no time for the dragon to react to the explosion in its abdomen.

The explosion was so strong that even with the distance I had created, and the obvious obstruction, I flew a good couple of meters in front of me.

I saw the space around me turn back into the Colleseum from the first 20 trials. I saw an elf with an administrator standing together in the center of the colosseum, they must have felt me arrive, since as soon as I saw them both of them turned to face me. Their scrutinizing eyes felt weird.

"Uh, can I get my reward now please?" I asked while scratching the back of my head, I did not really want to spend too much time talking about what happened.

"Sure, kid" The administrator said, much to the displeasure of the elf but his side.

"Don't you think we should try and find out what happened, he challenged a 21st trial!!" the elf said.

"He wouldn't tell us anyway, the tutorial administrator told us about him, just give him his rewards and don't question him, it's not worth it" The administrator explained as he put out his hand, I took it. I was bombarded with so much information similar to when I upped {True Awakened Giant Dragon Body} with {Absorb}, but this time, it was magnified a couple of times. It took a while for it to finally settle down when it did, I checked the rewards.

Looking at the inventory icon it looked like liquid fire, did he really bleed fire? I guess that didn't help him when it came to the explosion. I shrug. I was prompted with a blue screen.

I wanted to get stronger, but I felt like on the first floor I was stagnating a bit, There are some hopes though, I need to improve my skills, and the best way to do that would be to climb the tower.

I've been hard at work trying to master the new skills I obtained after my fight with Kagutsuchi.

I've had a couple of breakthroughs in this time. First of all, using Ruler's Authority, I can bend my Barriers from my innate trait, using this, I designed a barrier that stops attacks but nothing else, really living up to my name of Gojo Satoru. Using Kagutsuchi's skills that I stole as a base I also applied them to {Aboslute Zero} with great results. I've also been attempting to combine Mana and Ki by enforcing Mana with Ki similar to the bomb I made but without the barrier acting as a fuse. I feel like it's the right answer I just need more precise control over my Ki and Mana, I was able to create something albeit briefly.
