My life under the lands *Introduction*
A sweet melody Ike voice sings in the middle of the ocean.
"I may be the only one
I might be the only one~
Nights are lonely
Tears shed under the lovely moonlight
I may love the ocean breeze
But my eyes can never lie"
"Aerwyna!" Yin says softly to prevent sailers from hearing
"What's up Yin? Did you want something?" Aerwyna asks yin while looking at the moon with no emotions. "Do you really wish to become a soldier?" Yin askes full of worry and panick. Her tears were almost about to burst from heartache. "Yes..I want to go to the land to improve our kingdom and bring prosperity to our kingdom." Aerwyna answers softly and looks at yin. "Being a soldier is risky!
Someone made news of a mermaid many years ago and some of our people were almost caught!" Yin anxiously said and grabbed Aerwyna's hands, "I don't want you to risk it! I knew the people on land were greedy and full of schemes. They stole many of our food and resources yet they earn a living this way! You know how much we do just to get enough
vitals for our food!?! I was going to go to my garden near the shore and someone came and took some of my squids and little fishes!" Yin grumbles
"Yin, I want to help collect info and you know how much I want to become a warrior." Aerwyna says.
Their awkward silence filled the ocean waves.
"B-But, you are the only sea fairy in our kingdom! What are we suppose to do if you leave us? What about our love problems? Can't you stay and help us mermaids with our problems?" Yin whines, swaying their hands together.
"I know I can bring knowledge to others but can't you also do it?" Aerwyna teases yin, hinting their lessons today.
Yin blushes slightly and suddenly..
*EEERRRRR*

the two girls hurriedly swam down to the hidden kingdom. "Woaahhh! I thought we were going to be caught and sold to those aquariums!" Yin shivers and swam to the kingdom. "Aiya, what a child," aerwyna chuckles and followed.

"Just now...I thought I saw two people..." the driver squints his eyes and...no one, not even a ripple was shown. 'Maybe it was a dolphin group' the driver thought and continued his job.

"Aiya~ Aerwyna!! Please don't leave us~!" Yin held aerwyna's arm and shook it like a spoiled child.
"No way! I am going to be a soldier! Half of our food has been taken by those Koreans, Japanese and Chinese people! I cannot let our kingdom fall like the Winter Valley!" Aerwyna calmly and swam into the little gem cave. "Are you going to come back?" Yin pouts and looks at Aerwyna with her puppy doe eyes. "Of course I will! It's like an adventure!" Aerwyna stargazes into nowhere.
"I need to rest, good night Yin." Aerwyna pushes yin out of the gem cave and goes to sleep.
Yin's mouth is wide open and in disbelief, "w-well...good night!"
*Day 1 of the soldier training*
"Line up!" The instructor yells. The soldiers stood straight and upwards.
"We merfolks have had lots of resources!" The instructor yells, "but we have lost half of our resources now!" He cries in injustice, "we need to take actions and go into the lands!"
The soldiers starts to look around in confusion. Not many people knew the reason of the soldier enlistments this year.
"The rumors were actually true!"
"We might be discovered by humans!"
"Not in hell are we backing out!"
"We have fins and no human legs!"
"Our history of humans are in the library, what's there to be afraid of!?"
Each soldiers spoke to encourage others and themselves as if they were going to a battlefield.
"SILENCE!!" The instructor yells and the whole place hushed.
"The first day of training is about knowing our weaknesses." The instructor gave each soldier a device. "We, The senior soldiers have scouted after learning and found out their communication device." A phone was given to the soldiers. "I will teach each of you how to be human." The instructor said boldly and soon it was school for the soldiers.
*Each day was about learning human things and ID. Some soldiers went to the library after class and some went near the shore to see the humans' things. The training was finally over after a year and soon, the soldiers were given a necklace with different symbols.*
"This necklace has a symbol, each symbol gives us the power to become a merfolk willingly. The words to become a merfolk is connected with your symbol. The one with a pearl says 'Become a pearl merfolk. " The instructor simply explains.
"Become a tide human!" The merman suddenly lost his fins and got some legs.
"You can still breath underwater." The instructor says cooly😎
*then they started to train in caves with land. They learn walking, running, jogging, and stretching. *
The soldiers were given swim suits and soon went up to the beach. Each had a bag were the clothes and money were. Yes, the army had already scouted the place and made money. The riches were passed on to this generation's soldiers so they don't have to freak out about where to live and earn.
