This world...... so dumb?.

NB: If you are still reading, kindly note that the story has been taken over by the protagonist, so from now on, you'll basically hear his thoughts.

Falling through a dark portal is one thing but finding yourself surrounded by trees and tall grasses after landing is another.

I immediately recognized my environments to be some kind of forest. Like who the hell dumps their hero in a damn forest?.

Anyways, I might just find my way out of here and locate the nearest town or something. I struggle to my feet intending to move when I get the biggest shock of my life.

I AM NAKED !!!!!.

Uck! Uck! Uck! Okay Anji, don't overthink it, maybe your clothes are somewhere around.

Don't panic. Just search. Search. Search. Search.

I begin running around, to and fro, from left to right, then back to left again but still nothing. And then, it dawned on me : I had no clothes!.

" Curse you god of thieves...now I see why you are forgotten, it's because you are dumb ", I yelled so loud that even my lungs creaked.

Back to the ground I went, sitting and thinking.

" What do I do now? It's not like I'm even good at turning leaves to clothes ( yee, I wonder how the first man and woman did theirs...) How am I going to...".

Snarl.

I paid no attention to the sound interrupting my thoughts at first. It was nothing. It must be nothing.

Snarl. Again. If I wasn't mistaken, the only animals with that kind of sound were wild animals. But again, maybe I was just imagining things.

Snarl. Snarl. The sounds got closer. Too close that I had to jump to my feet and turn.

It was only then I saw it.

A large black cat approaching me stealthily.

[ You have come in contact with a black lynx ].

[ Fight or Flee ].

The holographic words appeared before my eyes.

That's right!. I forgot that as a transmigrator I was entitled to a system.

" Show me my status screen, system", I whispered.

[ Say please ] was the reply I got.

What the uck?. Of all the things in the world, a proud system?!!!.

The monster in front of me wasn't ready to retreat. It kept advancing with regal strides.

[ Say please ] the system's message appeared before my eyes again.

"Damn ittt..... please ", I almost screamed.

Though it should've come as a relief but what I was seeing as my stats was even more than the shock I had from being naked.

This?!. My stats were weaker than the falling leaves from a dead tree.

" Damn you! God of thieves ", I cursed silently, " so much for a fraction of your powers ".

Another snarl brought me back to the realization that there was a black lynx before me.

Only a fool wouldn't know what to do in this situation and I definitely wasn't one. I took two steps backwards as the monster stalked me.

" Dear kitty kitty, would you mind not trying to...", the black cat leapt into the air and I turned, dashing for my life, caring little about what was dangling in between my legs.

" Curse you, god of thieves ", I swore under my breath.

I must have been running for about five minutes when it became clear that I was coming closer to an opening and the beast wasn't ready to let go.

Huffing and panting, I was almost wondering why I wasn't yet sprawling to the ground when I came into the open considering my lame stats.

But instead of civilization, it turned out I found myself standing on the banks of a river with no where else to turn.

The only option: jump into the river.

I didn't give it a second thought before I leapt into the deep, cold waters.

The lynx stopped in it's tracks and roared at me. I realized the old saying was true : ' cats are scared of water '.

It prowled about the beach for a while before turning back into the forest.

I heaved a sigh of relief.

All that for representing a god!.

I swam around the waters in thoughts. I needed clothes if I was ever going to step out of this river.

" Hey you ", someone yelled at me interrupting my thoughts, " what are you doing in there? Don't you know this area is restricted and reserved for the Kotal clan ? Out of there now!!!!! ".

It was a naked man on the beach, his clothes laying on the ground beside him.

" Out of there now ", he shouted again.

An idea occured to me.

" Make me ", I retorted.

" What ?! ", the man tightened his fist, " how dare you talk like that to a member of the Kotal clan.....you just wait for me".

He ran madly into the waters coming after me. I swam away from him back to the shore.

" Come back here ", he yelled.

I stuck out a tongue and picked up his clothes, " thank you for being so dumb ".

" Hey bring back my clothes please!! ",He called out to me as I walked away with his clothes.

Daaayyyyuuuummm. Where people in this world this dumb ?.
