Leisure Life: Classroom of The Elite

"I just want to laze around, minding my own business...so what's up with all those conspiracies?" A random average guy who is about to attend Advanced Nurturing High School established by the Japanese government to nurture the young people who will support the country in the future. Fan-fic about Classroom of the Elite and I don't own any of its characters or...simply anything connected to it so make sure to check out original work. WARNING: I am not planning to make MC change plot from early on, you could even say this MC will be just a side character. It's just that I picked this background (Classroom of the Elite) for a slice-of-life relaxing story. Also, some characters might have slightly different personalities so excuse me for those possible mistakes. #45 Making a deal

"Sensei, could you possibly tell farewell to Hoshinomiya-sensei for me? I really enjoyed our talk here. If you excuse me now..." Yuichi said with usual tone and polite smile.

"Will do" She replied with folded arms and closed eyes.

When Yuichi left the Staffroom, he looked around and when he noticed no students, his expression changed to a cold one. He took his phone out to look at something.

Seeing that there wasn't much of the time remaining until the lunch break ends, he decided to go back to the classroom.

"So? How did it go?" Horikita asked when Yuichi sat down.

"Looks like our sensei forgot to tell us that the topics for the midterms changed" Yuichi turned at her and replied with a bright smile and closed eyes.

Hearing this, Horikita immediately frowned down.

"Do you know the topics that midterms will cover?" Horikita asked and Yuichi quickly wrote something on the paper he tore from his textbook and gave it to Horikita.

"This is what Ichinose-san told me and Chabashira-sensei confirmed it." Yuichi replied while giving her the piece of paper.

"...This is completely different from what we were studying. Is it possible that the school did this on the purpose?" Horikita asked with narrowed eyes.

"Highly probable. Obviously, a lot of people won't have problems with this change but Sudo, Ike, Yamauchi, and a few others might." Yuichi muttered while looking out of the window.

'Should I try to persuade Sudo? ...Nah, I am too angry to just go with this school's whims' Yuichi thought. The next class quickly started and he was aware who is he going to find during the next break.

The class quickly ended and even Sudo was paying attention even though he was occasionally yawning.

The next break Yuichi went to the floor used by the 3rd years. He found [3-A] class and looked around, when he didn't see the person he was looking for, he asked a few students there.

The students there were a bit surprised by his presence but most of them were aware of who he is, girls definitely knew this information. Yuichi quickly got the information he wanted so he was about to leave but a few girls asked him to stay for a little while, "to get to know each other". Yuichi put his hands in front of him and excused himself with an apologetic smile.

When he was on his way towards the Student Council room, he met someone familiar on his way there.

"Secretary Tachibana, greetings." Yuichi said with a faint smile and a small nod.

"Iwamura, what are you doing here? And I have already told you not to use Secretary." Tachibana nodded her head as a greeting and asked with a calm expression.

"My apologies, Tachibana-san. I would like to find Horikita-senpai, there is...something we agreed upon." Yuichi said.

"...I see, you can wait here for him, the president just finished the student council's meeting so he should be returning shortly after he is done talking to someone." Tachibana replied after suspiciously observing Yuichi's face.

Yuichi thanked Tachibana and waited for Manabu near his classroom.

"Hm? Iwamura...What do you want?" When Manabu arrived, he immediately questioned Yuichi with what he wants instead of what he is doing here.

"Hey, Senpai! I wanted to ask you something important." Yuichi who was leaning against the wall greeted Manabu with a smile.

"Hmm...So early?" He asked with a bit disappointed expression.

"I just don't want to waste my points just to confirm something." Yuichi replied with a faint smile.

"Oh? Go ahead...ask." Manabu gestured for him to ask with his hand.

"Is the entrance examination the same every year?" Yuichi asked.

"Yes" Manabu just replied with a change in his expression.

"Then what about all the other major tests? For example, midterms" Yuichi asked with an expressionless face.

Hearing his question, Manabu frowned down.

"Are planning to play dirty once again?" Manabu asked with sharp eyes.

"No...As long as it's within the rules, it's anything but prohibited, right?" Yuichi asked with a faint smile.

Manabu didn't reply to him and instead, he fixed his glasses before answering him his earlier question.

"I see, thank you for the help, senpai. Farewell." Yuichi replied with a cheerful smile before turning around.

'If I remember correctly, we have a lot of 2nd and 3rd years in the Basketball club' Yuichi thought with a grin and cold eyes. At this moment, he was already named as Captain of the core team and his status was quite high among all people there. He could have a few 2nd years and 3rd years students show him their old tests while he would just give them a few promises. Most people in the core team want to continue playing basketball even after graduation so offering them to correct their mistakes while playing might be a good deal, in case if it wasn't enough, Yuichi could add a few points as a bonus. He has already observed everyone and their playstyles so he was aware in most cases what mistakes they were making.

After the classes ended for the day, Yuichi went to attend the basketball club where he discreetly took care of a few "things". When it was 6 PM in the evening, after taking a refreshing shower, he called Sudo over into his room.

"Yo, so that's your room, huh?" Sudo greeted while taking walking in, looking around, and seeing almost identical room to his own room.

"All rooms look almost the same for everyone. Sit down, let me prepare a tea before I tell you something important." Yuichi said while getting up.

"I don't really like tea, don't you have soda?" Sudo asked while sitting down on the floor cushion.

"Just try it once...just tell me if you like the sweet or bitter taste better" Yuichi replied while preparing the tea.

"Tsk, fine, make it sweet, please. Why do you even want to make tea first before discussing something important?" Sudo accepted before asking with a confused expression.

"Because the tea will calm you down a bit." Yuichi replied and after a few minutes, he was finally done making the tea so he took both cups over to the short-legged wooden table.

"Try it..." Yuichi gestured with his hand for Sudo to try. Sudo looked weirdly at him but he still took the sip before his expression turned to surprised one.

"It's not bad...What is it?" Sudo asked with a confused expression.

"High-quality green tea with a slight taste of tropical fruits. It costs quite a lot so I don't brew this all the time." Yuichi said with a faint smile.

"Anyway, I have an important and very bad news for you...Everything you have been studying will be useless at the midterms because the topics midterms will cover have been changed. I just confirmed it with Chabashira-sensei." Yuichi said bluntly while taking the sip out of his cup.

"WHAT?!!" Sudo exclaimed angrily while getting up, almost knocking off the cups from the table.

"Sit down, take a sip once again, and calm yourself down." Yuichi said with a calm tone and carefree expression.

.

.

After a few minutes, Sudo finally calmed down.

"What the hell does that mean? That I studied all those days for naught? This is so fucking stupid!" Sudo said while clenching his teeth.

"Yes, it is. Although I wouldn't say that you studied for nothing, I can't refute that what you have learned will be useless during the midterms." Yuichi replied with closed eyes while calmly enjoying his tea.

"Aren't you angry at this?! There is only 1 week till the midterms and I definitely don't feel like studying at all after learning how they fucked with us!" Sudo said, clenching his fist above the table, doing his best not to punch it.

"I was, but I already accepted it...there is nothing else we can do about it but don't worry I have no intention to make you study everything from the beginning." Yuichi replied which confused Sudo.

"Then what are we going to do?"

"Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't support this but if the school screwed with us, I will screw with the school. Rejoice." Yuichi said and pulled stack of papers from his bag before throwing them at the table.

"Are these...?!" Sudo looked at the headlines of those papers and his eyes widened in a shock.

"Yes, and I want you to get at least 90 points in every subject." Yuichi said with narrowed eyes.

"What?! Why?! I can just study from this for a little while and get the 50s everywhere." Sudo frowned down and asked with a confused expression.

"Weren't you just angry? Aren't you still angry with the school?" Yuichi asked with narrowed eyes and a slightly aggressive tone.

Sudo thought for a while before firmly nodding his head.

"Then get the 90s in everything...You who got previously 14 points at that mock test, getting 90 points at the midterms...Don't you think it's good enough? It's like you are spitting right to their faces." Yuichi replied with a slightly cold smile.
