The Past

As a kid, Taiyo was in a school program that had ended in a tragedy.

"Hanage!" a child Taiyo had said with a smile.

"Taiyo, I've been searching for you this whole time! Where have you been?" Said a little boy with black hair and silver tips.

Taiyo stands in one place shocked. "That's impossible," he says in his head.

"What? Aren't you happy to know that I'm alive and well? Or are you shocked to see that I'm not dead?" Hanage said.

"But I saw you die right in front of me!" Taiyo said

"Oh that...let me explain." Hanage said. "After you had left to avenge me, I was dead but then I had awaken my fighting spirit and fought the other guys who tried to kill you." Hanage said

"But why...Why try to make a reunion in an arena?" Taiyo said aggressively "Like if you came back to fight and kill me why do it in a arena?"

"Oh no... You must have misunderstood me because I came here to tell you something after the tournament." Hanage said

"Ok... I thought differently because I -" Taiyo started.

"Shut up Idiot, we're in an arena to fight, not to open old wounds." Hanage said with a slight anger in his tone.

"Looks like someone is a little tou-" Taiyo said but was slammed into the wall by Hanage.

"Ok so my teammate is still recovering so I guess we will have to do a 1v1." Hanage said

"Just like old times," Taiyo said getting up

"Just like old times," Hanage had said.

Hanage and Taiyo clash their arms at the same time.

*Hanage is a metal user*

Hanage started off by sending some metal spikes towards Taiyo as they backed away.

Taiyo dodges in time but fails to notice Hanage right behind him with his hand, that had turned into metal, and gets hit in his back by it.

"Ahh," Taiyo yells.

As Taiyo is flung in the air, Hanage tries to finish his combo with a slam but is dodged and gets hit on the back of his neck instead and sent straight down to the arena.

Hanage jumps right back up and kicks Taiyo's stomach faster than he could notice. Taiyo is sent to the other side of the arena in a flash.

"These injuries are really holding me down. I can't even fight properly!" Taiyo said in frustration.

Taiyo hits Hanage in his stomach then kicks him in the back of his head then blasts him with a solar beam then grabs his hand before he goes far and kicks Hanage up then punches him in the face and sends him flying.

"Phew, even that is hard to do" Taiyo said "Well, I mean like I do have to be careful or else i might open the wound again."

Hanage proceeds to catch Taiyo off guard and punches him, but grabs his arm, hardens his head, and then headbutts him repeatedly. After all that, Taiyo isn't done yet and the moment Hanage unhardens his head Taiyo headbutts Hanage and then kicks him away.

Taiyo stands up and wipes the blood off his head.

"Pretty impressive," Hanage said.

"I can say the same to you," Taiyo said.

"Now then," Hanage deepens his voice, "Ready for round two?"

"Of course I am," Taiyo said in a serious voice
