Part Ways For Now

They made their way into the city and dropped their Pokemon at the center to get healed after the battle and made their way to a Pokemon restaurant where Snorlax was eating for some hours. Liam watched all this in amazement because the guy did not want to stop at all, and Liam kept checking his bank account as the numbers kept dropping until it went into the negatives. 

He was depressed about this and decided that he had to immediately find the black market to sell the Pokeballs that he had collected from Team Rocket. After dinner, they went to rest at the Pokemon lounge. The next day early in the morning, they had breakfast and did some light training together after picking up their Pokemon. 

Liam had decided that he was going to go separate ways with Brown which disappointed him because he couldn't wait to see him get loud, but it didn't get him down, Brown told him that he would see him later and that he should take care of himself and his Pokemon, and they went their separate ways. 

Liam then continued to the Dark Cave; when he got inside, it was extremely dark in there, so he brought out Charmeleon to light the way for him, and he had Ditto transform into Charmeleon to make it even brighter. They went through the cave battling trainers and training at the same time after a day, or two Liam couldn't tell how long he was in there for. 

They had finally exited out and had reached Lavender Town and rested in the Pokemon center until the next day. When Liam went through the town the next day to tour it, he realized it was extremely gloomy, and people kept complaining about kidnappings and other bad stuff that was going around and that the town mayor Mr. Fuji had gone missing after he went into the Pokemon Tower. 

Liam knew that Team Rocket was the one holding him hostage and going by the game he knew that you would need an item to see Marowak when he got up there, but he skipped all that and decided to go out and check it out and if there was anything he could have Shadow make sense of everything. 

Liam went through some battles, and he met some creepy people out there, gravediggers, and had even battled several Ghost-type Pokemon but won thanks easily to Charmeleon. While they were fighting, Eevee's egg decided to hatch in the Pokemon tower, which Liam thought was the worst place to be born. 

The egg had absorbed all the ghostly energy that was within the tower, but Liam did not notice this and watched the Eevee finally came out. Still, this Eevee looked a little strange he knew that it would come out as a devil type which is all black, but he noticed that his tail was a bit transparent (here's the art if anybody wants to see it) https://discord.gg/tcM4Yun.

This Eevee had come out as a ghost and Devil type, which was quite interesting to Liam. Liam carried Eevee off as they continued to venture up the tower. Eevee was curious about everything and just watched quietly as they battled Ghost Pokemon and made their way up the tower. 

When they finally reached the top, they noticed that Team Rocket members were there, and Liam had Shadow sneak behind them. In contrast, he had Dragonair approach them from the front, as soon as they saw Dragonair their eyes were shining with money signs because they knew if they sold this dragon type, they would make a lot of money, especially with it being a shiny type Dragonair. 

Dragonair quickly on unleashed Hyper Beam on all of them and just when they were about to unleash their Pokemons they received a Hypnosis from the back which was Shadow who had used Shadow movement to sneak up behind them and knock them all out and then quickly took their Pokeballs and went up to the last floor where Mr. Fuji was being held there were two Team Rocket managers, questioning him and abusing him that's when they noticed Liam. 

Liam yelled at them to let Mr. Fuji go, but all they did was smirk while taking out their Pokeballs. They sent out a Raticate and a Rhyhorn. They were both level 40s, but Liam didn't take them seriously and had Dragonair and Pupitar knock them out quickly before saving Mr. Fuji. 

Mr. Fuji thanked him for his bravery and for saving him, and they headed back to his place where the town found out everything that Liam had done for Mr. Fuji. They had a celebration for Liam that made that day a town holiday for the hero who saved their town. They started to make a festival like a theme going on with Liam's Eevee as the main Pokemon since she could be seen on his shoulders all the time.

Liam couldn't believe this ghost Eevee was this famous already after just being born too. They had Eevee snacks to toys. They gave him many gifts that he could sell in the black market for poke dollars because he was still super broke from entertaining Snorlax. Liam stayed in the town for a week before heading out.

The town was sad when Liam had to go, but they had no choice but to let him go. Liam set out to the next city, which was Celadon City; he had to get his for gym badge because he was behind the others who had already reached the six medals respectively. Ash had called Liam to rub it in and as soon as Ash had asked him how much badges he had he just hung up because he was super annoyed so he made his way towards Celadon City, and on his way, he met Gary who was on his way to Lavender Town to make his way down south to face Koga.
