I can't help but wonder what will happen when the timer stops.
Various thoughts flashed through Ethan's mind as he focused on the quest timer. Various emotions welled up within him as well: excitement, anticipation, and worry.
Some of these emotions seemed out of place at the moment, while others were understandable given the uncertain future ahead.
As Ethan delved deeper into his thoughts, he felt a soft sensation on both sides of his cheeks, bringing him back to reality.
Ethan didn't need to look around to know what had caused this soft sensation.
In front of Ethan stood Mia, her hands placed gently on his cheeks, emitting green lights indicating she was using the heal skill.
At that moment, thanks to Mia's skill, the lingering exhaustion in Ethan's body was slowly fading away.
