How should I allocate my attribute points this time?
The last time Ethan levelled up, which was his transition from level 1 to 2, he had placed significant importance on his physical stats to enhance his combat prowess.
At that point, Ethan had no practical use for his intelligence stat.
Instead of saying he had no use for it, it would be more accurate to say that Ethan had not utilised this particular stat.
This decision was understandable because, during that time, one of Ethan's greatest assets was his physical prowess, which greatly assisted him in close combat.
Despite being a mage, Ethan did not play the role of a typical mage; instead, he fought like a warrior because that playstyle was more familiar to him.
Ethan had no strong knowledge and experience of fighting like a mage, so he prioritised his other stats over his intelligence.
