Andrea's POV
I had returned to sitting beside Roshan, aborting my previous action of wanting to leave.
"Is there something more about Leah that I don't know?" My eyes pried at him, placing my hands on the table. "Please tell me, it has become a serious talk between us."
He chuckled, shaking his head like I was there to entertain him. He was calm, looking at me, and denying the serious look I had put on. But nothing could convince me that he had nothing he was hiding from me.
"Roshan… You should tell me, tell me everything I need to know. I'm her mother after all, I need to know everything about our daughter."
"And what if I tell you 'need' is not involved in your request." His hand curled into a fist, resting on the table after having closed the books.
"How?"
"Because you're giving too much room for your wants. There's nothing you need to know."
