Before I went to my room, I made sure that the twins were already in bed, although Zairon was the one who took care of them because I was in the shower.

I sat on the bed and looked at my arm. It didn't hurt anymore, not like yesterday. I started to remove the bandage, reaching for the first aid kit to replace it with a new one. I had barely begun to take it off when the door suddenly opened.

Zairon peeked in, his eyes scanning the room before landing on me. His expression changed when he saw what I was doing. Without any hesitation, he quickly entered the room.

I frowned. "I didn't say you could come in."

He didn't answer and went straight to sit on the bed. He gently took my arm and started replacing the bandage himself. I let him and watched as he tended to my bandage.

I was surprised when he lifted my chin and looked for the bruise on my face. I saw his eyes soften with concern. He gently caressed my cheek and looked into my eyes.
