Chapter 8 - The Week Before Christmas

Finally, its Christmas. Today, I get to go back to LA for next week. After a long semester of working, pulling all-nighters and training, the professors decided that we deserve a good break. Having tested all last week, I didn't really get to see Zach. Just saying his name in my mind makes me blush like wild.

''Y-yeah, his family invited me to their family home for the week. I'm so grateful. Where are you going for the winter break?" she asked as she helped me pack.

''I'm going to my dad's wedding in LA. What a drag. I hate the woman he's with rn but I'm happy that my dad has finally found peace and love with someone.''

"You know, I heard that Zachs' parents are in India for the holidays for official business, soo you should totally ask him to your house, I mean if that's what you want"

Walking to my locker to grab my revision books, I saw Zach standing next to my locker. Was he waiting for me?

Amazed, I kept my cool on as I opened my locker.

"Hi Chloe, how did you find Dr. Cyldes paper?"

"Easy, I've been learning complex geometry since I was six."

"no way, that's so cool."

"Hey Zach, my dad's getting married next week and he asked if id bring a date with me, i would like it if you went. I mean you don't have...."

"Yeah sure Chloe, thank you much. I've been needing an excuse to get away from the boring school. When do we leave?"

OMG, yay he's going with me. I'm soo happy.

We exchanged numbers as I was stopped my tiffany and her minions.

"Have fun pet, but im gonna ask him to come to my crib at the Comicon islands." she said as she glared at my jimmy choos.
