The Great Marx

"The Great Marx..."

I whispered, there was a time when I got adjusted to my life as lapiz lazuli, doing nothing and just studying. Maria one day came to me and gave me a book, it was called 'the invention of the great Marx'

Now you may be wondering why I am talking about this story which happened long ago. That's because he created all this mess, that man experimented on the lazuli kids that were affected by the curse, and that kid was his own son...

"My lady" Maria came up to me, she was the head maid of the lazuli mansion, the wife of sebastian and the person who got the nickname 'bibliophile lady' and the walking book, Maria was a knowledge concentrated person while sebastian was the power-concentrated person.

Maria was a woman in entering her old age, with her bright silver short hair and composed figure, she wore glasses and was always in check out for the maids in the house. The reason why I don't know many basic things are also because of her. She restricted my entry to the library in the house and only gave me books to read when it was time, she would always tell me that my restriction to the library would be lifted if the time came, which of course never happened.

"Here you go, read this book and tell me your thoughts" that rainy day, I was sitting on the chair and looking out at the beautiful garden through the window, "what is this?" I had nothing to do... so I wasted time drinking tea and listening to music in that cold weather "it is a book written by one of your ancestors" she answered, without saying much maria handed the book to me and left, I gazed over it and slowly opened that 'relic'

"Marx was a crazy man" I started "he used his own kids to find out the secret to our 'curse' which of course he found out" originally I was not supposed to say this to anyone other than khalid or the lazuli's, but khalid already knew, and I was the only remaining lazuli [But Aries can be trusted] I thought to myself

"I can't really explain all the details, but that guy found out some secret of the lazulis and was killed by the gods for it, and the book you found was his biography he wrote before being struck by the lightening" Aries flinched, the original story of Marx was that he got sick and died by a disease while what actually happened was him getting struck by a lightening and dying by it

"Then the burned pages on the book!" Aries started thinking, after his death the familiars of gods burned the most important pages on his book through their 'authorities' and made the death of Marx a mistake, the only ones who know this are the lazuli and the temple.

"However, the most confusing part is... the contract with the frendro had yet to happen" this was a part which I never understood, how did Marx knew that the contract which be formed even though he was waaay back in time, and that question made me curious of his abilities. Even if Marx was famous, there was never a book that mentioned his powers or his mana.

[that's when I thought of what Sebastian told me] 'leaping through time' an ability my mother possessed and used on me, a power which changed my mindset and abilities "but him possessing that is very low..." I again whispered to myself

'Leaping through time' or 'ieciens laika' was an ability possessed by the gods and some mortals who surpassed the border of humans, one of those mortal was my mother 'daella june' she was a war hero and one of the few people who saw lord Amphitrite, the lord of all.

{that doesn't mean the chance is zero too} Caspian responded, Aries couldn't see him, so he kept observing her and tried to scale her power with mine, [and that's what I am worried about] thanks to my mother, I had obtained that power, but it was not something I could control now. The life of mine in Korea and in Decodia which split my souls helped me gain control over the dimensions.

If you pass through time, it is said that you become time itself. "I think our conversation has to end here" Aries commented, "yeah... I will see you again my friend" we both said goodbye and my time was also up [i need to hurry back so they dont notice anything] I started dashing through the forest looking at the north compass as minutes pass [i need to regain my authority...]

Leonard's pov:-

"My lord... I believe it is time you visit the lady" I asked him who was laying on his bed covering his eyes with his hands "how many days has it been" his voice were cracking, it has been a while since he went to this state "more than 1 month..." it was the first time my lord delayed this much to visit her.

"Leo, bring me my meds and check on lapiz" he coughed and coughed and then stood up, "I have a few more matters to attend to" he stretched his neck and hands and removed the robe he was wearing. "If she sees you, just say that you were there to relay a message" he grabbed his shirt and went through the door without saying much.

"Yes... my lord" I have been serving him since my childhood, and when he enters this stage I can do nothing but watch [it proves how useless I am!] maybe she could help, after all the only thing he wants to protect is her 'lapiz lazuli'

"I need to leave" I left that cold and dark room of his while clenching my hands, wishing how I could be more useful. "Please wait for me my lord" I whispered "all your pains will vanish soon"
