Chapter 26: Element King versus Beast!!!

Lennon got into his fighting stance, unleashing the full extent of his beast-man capabilities.

He sprang like a spiral spring and assaulted Lancelot in a full-blown attack.

Lennon's claws extended to dangerous levels and his body was so agile, taking on the capabilities of a fox.

Lancelot stood on the same spot, not moving an inch. He remained in the same spot until the last minute when he moved like the wind.

As he moved, he put some distance between himself and Lennon. Ever since his fight with the air nation god, his senses were sharper and his abilities to use the air element increased to a point that made him almost invincible.

The beast nation soldiers that gathered had been joined by a larger crowd of beast men. They hated the tyrannical rule that Lennon had brought to them and they felt helpless and powerless to stop his resolute hold on power.

They hoped that Lancelot could give them a way out of their dire situation. Though they didn't cheer for either team. This was because they were afraid that their position may cause them to be punished later.

However, they silently hoped for a victory for Lancelot. On the other hand, the team that Lancelot came with had absolute faith in him.

If they had not seen him kill a god earlier, they probably would have had their doubts, but after that incident, they saw him as an insurmountable mountain, one they had absolute confidence in.

The fox man twisted again and charged toward

Lancelot, this time Lancelot called on the element of fire and water.

He concentrated the mist in the air into a long whip-like form and made the edges be surrounded by scorching flames, then he slashed it at Lennon at terrifying speed.

Lennon being a sly fox saw the whip late but still twisted mid-air despite losing control of his speed. However, that was not enough to prevent the whip from connecting with his back and hind legs.

He rolled on the floor as pain shot through his legs. The sensation of heating and cooling at the same time was a painful one.

He had some scars immediately form on the part of his legs that connected with the whip.

After this had happened, he got up with full rage. He saw Lancelot like one beneath him. For this lowlife to whip him like that was an insult to his integrity.

His bones started to crack loudly as he started to transform again.

This time he became a manticore.

His face became that of a real lion and the tail of a scorpion came from beneath him. His hide became as thick as a multilayered cowhide, tough and strong.

This time he had bloodshot eyes as he charged at Lancelot again. Swinging his arms wildly he missed Lancelot as he attacked fiercely, in a blind rage.

Lancelot was stunned at the moment by his sudden transformation, and also was the crowd

He knew very few beast men were capable of beast transformation but that of Lennon truly came as a shock.

Such a powerful transformation meant that this beast-man could probably take down a normal single-element wielder, but it was different taking on an element King.

The manticore felt very confident and the beast-men that hoped Lancelot would be their salvation had lost hope entirely after Lennon became a manticore.

Suddenly the tail of the manticore collided with Lancelot, sending him flying midair before he managed to stabilize as he used the power of air to loosen his loss of control.

Lancelot stabilized and frowned, he could feel the power of the hook within him, after he had merged with the hook he had not unleashed the full extent of the capability, but this match could allow him to test out his full range of abilities.

Suddenly, the symbol of a hook glowed from his head, and out of his hands, a snake rushed out and landed in front of him.

The snake appeared right in front of Lancelot and coiled right on his waist.

The snake was thick like the miniature of the forest anaconda, it was also long, capable of constricting a man and sniffing out his life.

Its thick skin was the scariest, it could mount up pounds of pressure beyond one's capability of enduring.

'Instant summons', Some of the present beast-men gasped.

They knew what capabilities instant summon could bring especially in a match like this.

A beast-man capable of instant summon can win a war with just a summon of one of the legendary great beasts like the anaconda, the great forest protector of the beast nation, or the other legendary beasts.

Now before them was a man who was regarded as the legendary element king and had successfully summoned a beast and he doesn't even seem like he was tired after the summon, was he still normal?

The manticore charged again, disregarding the thick snake on Lancelot's waist.

He ran straight into Lancelot, wielding his scorpion tail to sting Lancelot with venom, but Lancelot had other ideas, he immediately unleashed the snake at the right moment.

The snake grew in the space of 10 seconds into a large snake beast, that swallowed the manticore wholly, without leaving a trace, and then it disappeared as if it was never summoned.

The crowd stood in shock, no one moved for the next few seconds, as everything happened too fast.

They couldn't collect their thoughts in time.

They looked around at the surrounding, wondering what was going on.

They couldn't even make sense of all they had seen, was this real, or was this a joke.

Lennon becoming a manticore and what was with that instant summon, they really were scared, and instinctively, the beast nation crowd genuflected.

The chant; "element King' Started to ring throughout the beast nation.

One by one they stood to acknowledge the legendary element king. The water nation felt so proud of Lancelot.

The fire nation couldn't be happier and the beast nation was entirely in awe. Lancelot stood still on the battleground on which he had just ended the life of one of the notorious beast-men of the beast nation and he had a resolute look and the will to unite all nations to stop the conflict and rid of trouble makers.

"Beast nation, would you join me to build a better world where all nations would unite as one",

Lancelot asked the attentive beast men.

They cheered so loudly in response, such that they couldn't contain their excitement,

"very well then' Lancelot smiled, he was truly happy, he went on to choose a representative to represent him while he was away, he also picked a couple of beast-men to join him on his journey from nation to nation.
