Chapter 39: A cycle ends!!!

Back in the human world, at a secret void assassin base, a huge beast-like man with huge scars on his face was punching a wall, venting all his pent-up frustrations.

Suddenly a messenger ran in,

"My Lord, the Earth nation has captured him as expected, Scientist Charles is also calling for people to attack Baldwin".

"l know the god of earth nation would not disappoint me heheheh" The huge sized void assassin lord laughed.

"Go, Kill both the scientist and Baldwin. It's time to rule both worlds, also transmit to Wang this information, tell him to kill the Chosen one"

The messenger bowed after receiving the order and ran out to disseminate the information he just received.

Scientist Charles sat in his laboratory holding his phone as his body was constantly vibrating from apprehension.

He was getting bored and wanted to get up to do something else, but just as he was about to change his sitting position, a knife came out of nowhere and lodge itself into his chest, forcing itself into his heart.

'Puuuhh.. His heart was pierced and he was wide-eyed as he slowly fell clumsily before he died.

He still couldn't understand what happened as his face remained distorted in confusion.

Baldwin on the other hand could detect heat signatures coming at him at an insane speed, he could feel killing intent so strongly from the surging auras, he wasn't well prepared for this but he never was one to cower in fear.

All the years of being kidnapped from his world and brought here he had never cowered nor bow in fear to no one, in fact, on the strength of his unyielding pride and the dignity of his elemental race, he had risen to the pinnacle of wealth in the human world.

The three masked void assassins threw three star-shaped daggers at him from three different angles, Baldwin smiled

"If this was my first time meeting void assassins, I would probably be scared, but the likes of you are useless against me"

He sprang up like a cannonball and rushed forward, evading the flying daggers with heat laws that tend to bend the angle of the movement of the daggers, for an elemental to come in contact with the laws of their element, that means they are nearing the 5th level.

For any elemental to enter the 5th level they would become invincible, although they still could be killed in a moment of carelessness, it won't be as bad as that of a level 4 or lower elemental levels.

Baldwin was already at the peak of the 4th level he just needed a better grasp of the law to breakthrough. As he sped forward towards the assassins, he released flames scorching to the touch, aimed at the heads of these masked void assassins.

He also spun with a heat punch to the one closest to him at the left, the punch connected with his head perfectly destroying it on impact, killing the assassin on the spot.

This didn't deter the remaining two as they rushed forward with their zeal to Kill Baldwin fired up.

They activated their protection helmet when they suspected that Baldwin knew their weakness.

They rushed forward with swords drawn and aimed to slash at Baldwin's throat.

Baldwin used flames to propel himself to the air temporarily and narrowly dodged the terrifying attacks.

From above, he descended and targeted their heads, as he condensed huge heat flame balls, which connected perfectly.

He killed both of them on the spot. All the attackers were now dead. He smiled.

But before he could celebrate he felt a slash across his chest, so fast it cut through to his sternum.

Immediately after in quick succession, another blade pierced his left side, injuring his internal organs. At this point, he was bleeding like a broken borehole pipe.

He successfully killed all the void assassins but at a great cost to his life, he never knew his life would end this way.

The image of his parents flashed before his eyes, he never thought he would get to a point where he would never get to see them again.

He flashed back to his mom patting his head and kissing his cheek, the love radiating in his father's eyes as he smiled at him, his sister hugging him from the side as she did something nefarious.

Tears dropped from his eyes as he stared at the memory reflecting in his mind,

"The Element King will avenge me," he said before breathing his final breath.

He closed his eyes as he died awaiting eternal peace. Raymond Baldwin had been killed.

The Void Assassin Lord laughed as he saw the scene through the camera recorded by the other two void assassins that were hiding, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

"Your Elemental King will join you soon."

He said as he smiled and ticked a name on a long list of names, he had created a list of people he wished to kill,

He was a truly ruthless tyrant. Lancelot was brought out in his sorry state in the Earth nation.

He was tied up in a quartered a position in which his four limbs were tied to different angles on two different poles.

A higher and a lower angle at both sides.

He was unconscious and unaware of the millions of Earth commoners and noble Lords staring at him.

Kendra was also brought out alongside his entourage to witness the scene.

General Wang stood by the side with a smirk,

"So this is your Element King, so useless and pathetic, he couldn't even protect himself let alone put up a fight, yet you guys praised him so much. In this world, strength is all that matters not empty words."

After saying that, she pointed to a soldier carrying a huge axe just at the left side of Lancelot's dangling body,

"Kill him" she commanded in a tone so cold that one could feel the evil intent in the words.

Kendra couldn't process all that was going on, everything was changing too fast, was the prophecy incorrect?

Was the spirit of prediction lying? Is the world in such a state that even the power of prophecy couldn't fight the evil in it?

What exactly was happening?

She couldn't control her surging thoughts, everything felt confusing.

In a couple of days she had re-lived the horrors she went through a millennia ago and this time it was way more painful because the man she truly loved was about to be sacrificed like a goat on a chopping board and she was powerless to stop it.

The axe came down at huge speed and severed Lancelot's head, the head rolled off uninhibited.

The few people who were still hoping for miraculous salvation finally lost all form of hope, the Element King was dead, Killed in the earth nation under the sinister rule of King Dabill Wang and the ruthless execution by his sister, General Suzie Wang.

Cries rang out as Kendra couldn't bear the pain, the entire entourage couldn't comprehend the complexity of the rapid change of event.

The Element King was dead, the plans for the future were severed, and the Air nation's tyranny has been ended only to be continued by the earth nation.
