I went back to my friends. They were in the dorm lounge, playing cards.
"Hi." I said. They waved at me. Cynx suddenly screamed. "Ugh! I lost again. I don't wanna play with you anymore Lyan!" Lyan smirked. Charles and Cya chuckled. "I think we had enough cards for one day. What about you Xia? What did you do in the library today?" Cya asked.
"These students told me interesting theories." I said. "Tell us." Charles said.
I told them about the theories of the students, about the darkness, and the possible descendant of Arielle. "Those are very amazing theories to be exact. I mean like you said, they are not far from possible." Cynx said.
"That's why darkness can't exist without the existence of others." Charles said.
"Right." I replied.
"Anyway, I still think we're safe, well for now. Let's just enjoy." Cya laughed.
"So what about we ask each other questions? No lies though." Cynx chuckled.
"Sure." Lyan said casually. "You first, Xia."
"What's the happiest day of your lives?"
They thought. Cya answered first. "The day I received my power of course! You know, if I haven't received Electric, we would've been here right now!" "Awww, how sweet, Cya." Cynx said and we hugged her.
"Hmmm, for me, it hasn't really happened yet." Charles said. He looked up to the ceiling and smiled. "I'm still waiting for that day to arrive."
We four exchanged glances. "We do hope that will happen soon enough bro." Lyan said.
"I guess mine is the time was.... the first moment with him." Cynx said.
We all understand who she meant. We never dared asked, since she might start tearing up.
"Mine is definitely the part where I started to learn simple spells." Lyan said. "It's pretty cool, you know." We agreed.
"What about you Xia?" Charles asked.
I thought about it deeply. "I'm not sure. But what I'm sure is, my happiest days started when four of you came into my life." They all laughed.
"Okay, okay. Another question. If there's something that makes you weak, what would it be?" Cya asked.
"My loved ones of course. Including you little darling." Cynx snuggled up to her sister and pinched her cheeks. Cya giggled.
"My weakness? Maybe food." We all laughed. Charles seemed very fond of food, but he never got fat. How weird.
"Mine should be the same as Cynx's." Lyan said casually. I guess he can't really think of anything else.
"You, Xia?" They asked.
"Same as well!" We all laughed. "I guess we all ran out of ideas for answers, huh?" Cynx said.
"Yeah. I guess it's time to sleep, it is pretty late." Cya said.
"Night guys." We stood up, and we went our seperate ways.

I woke up with the moonlight still shining on my window. The time was one in the morning. For the second time again, I can't seem to sleep again. I was thinking about going to the dorm lounge. Why not? I went down to go there.
There were no more lights, except for the lampshades that lit up the room. A very few set of students were them. Mostly asleep on the sofas and chairs. I recognized two faces that were still whispering.
"You guys are still awake?" I asked them.
They looked at me. They smiled. "Why not?" Lyan said.
"Don't you guys need sleep? I mean we still have a class tomorrow."
"We're good, don't worry. Couldn't sleep huh?" Charles said. I nodded in answer. I sat on the opposite chair. They both grinned at me.
"So, what are you two up to?" I asked them.
"Well, I'm trying to write a novel, and Lyan is trying to get some sleep, but nothing seems to work." I couldn't help but smile at their antics. Lyan looked at me.
"I'm doing great, I guess. Just look at what I wrote! It was so hard to type this stuff. Looks ugly to me" He said, flipping open his notebook to show me a page covered in a beautiful cursive script. It was entitled, A Withered Rose. It was about a guy who went into pieces after breaking up with her girl. It was unfinished.
"Not really." I said. "It's actually amazing."
"See, Charles kiddo? She said it's amazing."
After Lyan stared at him with mockery in his eyes, Charles suddenly punched him. "Ouch. That hurts you know. Hey Xia, why don't you tell him not to hurt and punch people for my revenge?" I giggled. Charles fixed his composure.
"It's pretty late Xia. You should go back to sleep if you don't want to have panda eyes for tomorrow." I didn't dare argue. I stood up, waved good bye, and headed to my room to sleep.

It was morning again. The dazzling sunlight once again shone on my face to say that I had to rise up.
I quickly ate my breakfast, since I didn't see any of them in the cafeteria. "I'm late." I told myself.
Once sipping the last drop of coffee from the cup, I quickly ran to my class.
"Just in time, Ms. Xianthiara." Ms. Éllaine smiled.
Today she showed us another set of Electric spells.
She taught us how to make electric art, just like Yra did. We did simple shapes first. But it was hard, since the electric waves kept moving by themselves. This is what Yra meant. That it was a spell usually for advanced ones. But I'll figure it out pretty soon. Atleast I can shoot lightning out of my fingers now.
"Xia, try not to let those energy move too much, or you won't be able to control it."
"Yes Ms. Éllaine." I smiled and tried to copy what Yra did. She secured the flame in her hands first. I slowly made an electric orb, and lifted my hands. I slowly let my hands down, and there's the electric orb. I slowly used my finger, one line after another, and drew a circle. I was glad.
When I finished drawing a circle, it was already dark blue.
"Wow, it looks awesome!" Someone behind me exclaimed.
I turned around. "Cynx! You scared me."
"Sorry, sorry. It just looks amazing. But hey, you finally did it."
"Thank you." I smiled.
Ms. Élaine called for everyone's attention.
"Alright, everybody. I'd like to thank everyone for their efforts today.. The most important thing is to remember the basic principles."
They class dispersed. "Let's go get lunch." I said, and we went to the cafeteria.
On the way there, I heard someone scream.
