CH 2

Kio : "H-how far i-is the road?"

AK-12 is a T-doll so she can't be tired, but the same can't be said for me!

Ak-12 : "We just left the hut little fox."

Ak-12 looked at me with a face asking if I was for real, and that is with reason.

Looking back I could still see the wooden hut I woke up from just a few meters far, which made me realize I am so unfit.

Kio : "This will be a long journey for my poor legs wont it..."

While walking I remember I have yet to see what my body looks like.

I look down to see I'm wearing an oversized military uniform with no pants, I could feel underwear so I guess its fine.

Looking inside the clothes I could see I was small and had zero curves.

Kio : "So it's the same..."

What a shame, I thought it would change or something... Oh? I guess I do have a tail and fox ears.

Looking back at AK-12 she looks way prettier than in game.

The only time I used gems in the game was for oath rings.

But none did I give to AK-12 because her personality isn't the best out there…

AK-12 : "Commander we hit the road where do we go next?"

Kio : "Fufufu, just for this moment I picked up this wooden stick to choose for us."

I put the wooden stick standing on the ground and let it fall.

Just to see it point at the forest we just came out of...

AK-12 : "Ehehe, so you want to go back to the forest?"

Kio : "Well, why don't you choose, Misha?"

AK-12 : "Alright then, I choose left, there is something interesting going on there."

Did she mean humans?

Maybe this is the bandit attack of all the isekai stories!

Kio : "Lets go then, and when you think we are just outside detection range we ghost."

With a nod we run over to where Ak-12 detected human(?) presence.

Ak-12 then stopped and signaled to hide, which we both hide on top of a tree in the forest.

Kio : "They are coming?"

I whisper to Ak-12. For a response I only get a nod and she prepares for a fight.

Looking out into the distance I could see some slow moving carriages.

This means the tower is from the medieval era?

But more importantly are they bandits or just a big merchant?

Kio : "Misha, I'll go as distraction and see if they are hostile or not, you cover my back."

Ak-12 : "What?! No, its better to go together."

Kio : "Sure."

I wasn't really confident in my English either way.

As the carriages where approaching they stopped when they saw us.

Ak-12 was infront of me holding her gun ready to shoot.

Carriage driver : "Who are you?"

Oh? Seems like I can understand the language even though it wasn't Japanese.

Kio : "Can we get some directions?!"

I shouted at them as they where quite far still.

But the driver just turned around still keeping an eye on us.

Carriage driver : "If you go that way there is the center town."

I wasn't sure if to trust them or not, but no choice but to trust them.

Kio : "Thanks, but can I ask how long will it take on foot?"

Carriage driver : "It will take 5 hours!"

I just bow and walk with Ak-12 who is still holding her guard up as we pass though the carriages.

Passing by them it smelled of meat and fish.

Kio : "It really was a merchant?"

Now just walk while talking to Ak-12 towards the center town.

5 hours later we did actually arrive at a town. Which we where greeted by the gate guards.

Guard : "Tower ID."

Kio : "Tower ID?"

Guard : "Huh? Oh, where you summoned by a god into the tower?"

Kio : "Yes."

Guard : "Gods don't have much time to talk so they send warriors with minimum explanation, so we usually explain things."

So that's why she was in a hurry.

Guard : "Tower ID or just called ID is made when you enter the tower the normal way but summoned people cant get them so the tower guild makes them for people like you. And for more information you can ask the guild. The guild hall is at the center of the town."

Kio : "Thanks."

After waving goodbye to the guard we walk towards the guild as it seemed the ID was really important.

Looking back at Ak-12, she still has her signature smile and with whatever she might be thinking.

Honestly I don't really know AK-12 enough to know what she might be thinking right now.

Kio : "Misha, what are you thinking about?"

Ofcourse if you want to know someone you just have to interact with that someone.

Ak-12 : "Are you going to call me Misha or Ak-12?"

Kio : "Good question!"

I guess calling her Ak-12 is going to get old real fast so...

Kio : "I'll call you Misha from now on, calling you Ak-12 feels like I'm just calling a weapon."

AK-12 is going to be called Misha from now on!

Misha just stares at me without saying anything.

Kio : "Ah there's the guild building."

Anyone could tell it was the center of this town, a massive 4 stories tall tree was made into the guild hall.

Misha : "Its a tree."

Oh, now I get what Ak- I mean Misha is thinking.

She is intrigued by all the fantasy elements that this tower has!

Its like a grandma learning about internet.

Misha : "Are you thinking something dumb perhaps?"

Ah, anyway I walk in to the guild hall.

As soon as we enter I felt a few eyes on me, most people didn't care.

Looking around I see that there is 3 floors to this building.

First floor has a circular reception area, a bar to the left and a quest board in the right.

The second floor was a balcony floor that I can't see well.

And the third floor which was made of bridges.

Anyway I walk up to a receptionist who looked tired.

Kio : "Excuse me, I need 2 IDs please."

Receptionist : "Ok, then please put your hand on the crystal ball in front of you."

There was a problem. I'm way too short to reach the table.

Kio : "Misha pick me up please."

Misha let go of her gun and picked me up so I could touch the crystal ball and Misha did as well after putting me down.

Receptionist : "Thank you for the wait, here are your ID cards."

Picking them up I could see a orange box in front of me.

[Tower]

The tower has 1000 floors.

The tower is a solo experience, no party members can be made unless its summoned or mana/hand made.

You can see other people challenging the tower talking to each other or helping each other is banned, fighting each other is allowed.

Inside the tower floor 0, 150, 300, 450, 600, 750, 900 are the only ones that allows safe zones.

Safe zones does not have monsters.

Safe zones have NPCs that gives quest.

Safe zones have Guild hall.

Only the ones that's been to the next safe zone can teleport from one another.

You can go back or continue when clearing a floor.

Going back teleports you back to the last safe zone you been in, but you have to start again from that floor.

Besides clearing a floor or a return stone there is no return from a floor.

NPCs are people that can not climb the tower because of a curse.

[Leveling up]

Defeating monsters or humans gives you 1/4th of the defeated monster/human's EXP.

Each level up requires 1/4th more EXP than last level.

Evolution is only available only for Demi-humans or monsters.

But humans do not have Level cap.

Demi-humans have to Lv cap to evolve and reset their Lv.

Each evolution takes 5 times more Lv for evolution.

[Skill]

There are two category of skills.

Passive skills just work all the time with no need to activate it.

Tittles can be seen as a passive skill but instead of gaining it you can earn it and put it in your rank name.

Active skills can be used by saying the skill's name or some others by doing certain actions.

[Territory]

You can buy territory in the tower.

Be it some ruins in a floor or anything inside a safe zone.

Even an entire safe zone can be bought but floors can not be bought.

Inside territory you become immune to debuffs, and 500+ DEF and MDEF.

If you bought a safe zone entirely, above applies and get lord tittle.

Lord tittle ; Get monthly TC from people living inside the safe zone. Can change state of weather, day and night cycle and rules.

If a lord is killed there will be poll to make new lord.

[Money]

Money is carried inside the ID cards and can not be robbed.

TC or Tower Coin is earned by quest, bounties or just give up climbing the tower and get a job in the safe zones.

[Rank]

The higher the rank you are the more privileges you will get.

Not getting ranked is not an option.

Rank is determined by floors cleared.

It will be displayed in the second floor of every guild hall.
