War III

Megan focused her attention on the scene beyond the barrier. Their entire unit moved up to mere feet from the arch. When their limon in front pulled their swords, the real drama began. Some of the guard on the other side pulled theirs as well but most just looked unsure. Ren had told Megan that most of the guard hadn't seen a fight in the last five hundred years.

Most were looking at her group like they had lost their minds. Megan realized that those beyond the arch could not see the Limon army yet. They were still hidden down the hall. The elders guard were looking at the composition of the fighters they could see with general confusion.

Megan knew what they were seeing. There were demons and the Tetran's side by side, the opposing brother's side by side, two women, and General Mim as well as the peaceful monks. They had to be wondering how any of this was possible and why it would be attempted. Megan wanted to chuckle at their obvious dismay but refrained.
