Collins's apartment

Lingering the folk in his plate of macaroni cheese and chicken, Gavin groan in frustration, the food look weird to him. He don't feel like eating anything after eating Amber's delicious 'Paella Valenciana'

He was about to leave her place when she gestured him to sit back and joined them for lunch. Damn that girl is a perfect Chef, even her food taste 'Muah!"

Gavin wished she could make more of that delicious meal and coffee for him every single day.

He had been to many Spanish restaurant before but none of them could beat Amber's delicious food and coffee. Hers was just the best, unbeatable and undefeatable.

If she was placed on a cooking competition, damn she will beat all her opponent down and dusted.

Sneakily staring at her son who relaxed his elbow on the table and supported his head with his hand.

Ivonne rolled her eyes, "Gav, why are you not eating? You've been stirring the macaroni simultaneously for seconds and you haven't strove a piece into your mouth yet, why?"

"Are you sure you're fine?"

Nodding his head, Gavin gave them a weak smile, "am fine, is just that am not hungry yet or maybe I lost my appetite"

Shrugging his shoulders, Collins nodded, "okay if you say so, but as for me am super hungry"

Pushing his plate to him, Gavin chuckled, "you can add mine to yours, it's a bonus point"

Chuckling softy, Collins tried not to laugh out loud so he won't choke. "You're funny son"

"Not just bonus point but bronze point as well" Ivonne chuckled.

Sipping his glass of Eva wine, Gavin sighed, "I'll be goin to Florida on Tuesday evening"

Collins who was about to sip from his glass of wine, paused midway and placed the glass on the table. "Florida? Oh okay you have a business appointment?"

Let's just say Collins gave Gavin a clue to lie. Without thinking twice, he nodded his head and smiled. "Yep, I have an important meeting to attend in Florida"

"So when are you coming?" Ivonne asked curiously.

Awkwardly scratching his head, Gavin massaged his forehead, "well I don't know yet, let's just say two weeks"

Spatting the wine out of his mouth, Collins coughed vigorously, "two weeks?"

When Gavin nodded his head, he added, "Gavin, who attend business appointments for two weeks?"

Composing himself, Gavin frown annoyingly, "what type of question is that dad? Is it a taboo for someone to attend a business appointment for two weeks? Damn I don't see anything wrong with that"

Placing the glass of wine on the table, Ivonne glare at Gavin suspiciously. "Are you sure you're goin to Florida for a business appointment or for–

"Oh please mom, please stop it now, don't drive me down that lane, okay?"

Crossing his hands in his front on the table, Collins pursed his lips. "Are you sure because am still having doubts and double minds about your trip to Florida"

Frowning deeper, Gavin narrowed his eyes, "go on and have double mindset I don't care, okay? Am not a kid that should be watched or looked after, am a grownup man now and it will be better if you two stop making me feel insecure"

"Fine, fine, no problem and what about the two meetings you postponed? How about them?" Collins asked curiously.
