“HAVE you met before, Angel?" Camish's question bewildered me.
I couldn't focus on Xylon's serious expressions or the protruding muscles in his arms.
"Uh... Of course not!" I flatly refused. "It's my first time at this resort. How is it possible that I would have known him?"
I mustered the courage to confront Xylon. "I don't know who you are, mister. Also, please don't follow me around like a dog. You're getting on my nerves."
Xylon smirked at me. "Who said I was following you? Miss, you’re blocking my way...” Then he walked ahead of us.
I was filled with embarrassment. I tried to catch him and when I was already standing next to him I said, “Don’t follow me or get near me.” I was panting. I couldn’t look straight into his eyes and my cheeks were flustered.
He scoffed. “Tell that to yourself. And for the record, this place is mine. I'm free to go wherever I want." He walked quickly and didn't even glance at me.
