Chapter 69: Torn

“Vincent!” Yako shouted as he tried to get up from the ground.

“Vincent, enough!” Lilia shouted and raised her hand.

Our eyes went wide when Vincent screamed and collapsed. He dropped Yelena and then fainted.

“Enough…” Lilia said and fell on her knees.

“Lilia, you…” Yako said, now able to move as the dark air faded from Vincent.

“Yelena!” I exclaimed and ran towards her. “Yelena, wake up!” I said, tapping her cheeks.

“Why didn’t you tell me you’re a witch!” Yako shouted.

I turned to them.

Lilia’s crying. “Because I’m afraid you’ll shut me out!” she answered.

“Get out!” Yako yelled. “Get out of here! OUT!!!” he shouted.

Lilia sobbed. She looked at Vincent.

“Don’t you dare take him, you damn witch!” Yako yelled.
