Tsui was right. The barrier was hard to control. It was made out of the water molecules in the air. Water particles tend to move around a lot making keeping them in the same place really hard.
"Guys… we have to fight the Nomu's. I can't keep the barrier up for much longer."
"Wait… guy's I can't activate my quirk."
The class heard Tsui's terrifying giggle.
"You all didn't think I'd make it easy and let you all use your quirks, did you?"
No matter how hard everyone tried no one could activate their quirk. Except Kat.
"Sorry Kat you might be on your own."
Kats' fear turned into anger. Tsui knew what she was doing. There was no way Kat would be able to fight and protect her friends. She would have to pick one. Kat couldn't control the barrier anymore and it slowly started to fall.
"I will do my best to protect you all. No matter the consequences, I won't let any of you get hurt."
Kat let go of the barrier. She got ready to attack but as she was about to run out something blocked her view. It was a kind of wall but it was the colors purple and pink. She knew what quirk it was turned around and saw Mrs. Misaki.
"Hey kids, are any of you hurt?"
"No we're fine. But we can't activate our quirks for some reason."
"Yes that's understandable. Did you feel a scratch when your quirks stopped working?"
The class nodded and the hero sighed. She looked over at Kat. She then walked over and rested her hand on the top of Kat's curly hair.
"Good job protecting your classmates. You can fight freely now. I'll take full responsibility for what happens."
Kat looked up at Color Wheel and gave a slight nod. She turned her back to the class as Color Wheel made a door big enough for Kat to walk through. The class saw something drop from Kat's hand. It was her eyepatch. They were all super confused and why Color Wheel had let Kat out. The barrier slowly started to turn transparent on the side where the whole class was watching.
"This is a really rare event. Kat barely ever takes off her eyepatch."
There are five Nomu's in total. When Tsui see's who came out. She looks the happiest she's been in a while. A nomu charges at Kat and swings. She bends back to dodge it and Nomu freezes. Kat's right side is covered in ice. Just like when Todoroki uses his quirk. Another Nomu charges at Kat's right side while she's bending backward. Kat's gaze shifts to the second Nomu and she burns it to a crisp. Everyone watched in awe.
"Kat's can copy quirks with her left eye. She can use the quirk for up to a week until it disappears. She can copy up to 50 quirks but if she uses too many quirks at the same time she gets unbearable headaches."
Kat was standing straight again. She had gotten rid of two Nomu's and had to kill three more. Through all that Kat kept her right eye shut. She opened for a split second and put her hand over her eye. With her hand still on her eye she walked toward the three Nomu's.
"It's been a while since I took off my eyepatch. I forgot how bright the world can be."
Kat put her hand down and revealed her eye. For some strange reason...she was smiling. The class saw Kat's eye for the first time. Their mouth's dropped. Kat's right eye was pitch black. Except for the cornea which was a blood red. Tsui started to giggle uncontrollably. The class felt a chill go down their spine. Two Nomu's charged at Kat. They both swung but completely missed. Kat had ducked below waist level and she touched both of Nomu's legs. As she stood back up both Nomu's fell. She had used Mina's quirk to burn both legs. But something strange happened. The Nomu's weren't regenerating. Everyone just brushed it off as they weren't as strong as the other one. But Midoriya knew something else was happening.
"Tsui…"
Kat spoke the villain's name in a chilling tone. The last Nomu was obviously the strongest. Kat started walking toward it slowly.
"I am going to kill you."
"Oh really? I thought heroes were supposed to be above killing skum?"
"Shut up."
Tsui chuckled as Kat continued to walk to the Nomu. It screeched right in Kat's face but she didn't even flinch. Without a second thought Kat kicked the Nomu in the stomach so hard it went flying straight in the air. As it was in the air Kat ripped off another Nomu's arm and held it as a bat. When Nomu came back to the ground Kat hit it in the direction of the other side and the warehouse. She ran to the other side of the warehouse and did the same.
"Is… is she playing baseball with a nomu's body and arm?"
"I think she's letting off some steam."
The class chuckled a little. Color Wheel smiled with them as she watched Kat. She was feeling weaker. The full effect of the gas didn't wear off. She was fighting whatever the villain had used at UA. She didn't want to tell her class though. She had to protect them. Kat was getting bored of playing with Nomu. So she angled it so that Nomu's body would go straight up in the air. She burned the arm using Todoroki's quirk and thought of which quirk to use. She looked over the barrier and smiled.
"Hey guys, guess who I am."
Kat put both her wrists together and Midoriya knew who she was copying. She angled her wrists up and gave a slight smirk. As the Nomu got closer to her hands she activated a small explosion causing everyone else to realize.
"DIE!"
There was a big explosion causing the Nomu to incinerate in the flames. The class looked at Bakugo and he was grinding his teeth in anger. As the smoke cleared, Tsui jumped down from where she was from. As that happened the barrier fell and Color Wheel fell. She couldn't fight it anymore and she passed out. Kirishima, Denki, Sero, and Mina checked to make sure she was still breathing. Tsui started laughing again.
"She must have gone to UA. I'm impressed she was able to hold out for that long."
"What did you do to her?"
"I didn't do anything honestly."
"Cut the crap Tsui."
Tsui kept her smile and walked toward Kat. The students were expecting Kat to beat her up in some way but she just stood there.
"KAT. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? TAKE HER OUT."
Kats fist balled up. She couldn't move. Tsui stood right in front of her. Kat was the only thing in between the villain and her classmates. Kat was looking at Tsui's shoulder and refused to look up. But something unexpected happened next. Something no one could predict.
