‘Bloody Flintlock’ Leno

Leno had used the same scheme many times and profited not only from the sale of the deed which ended up back in his hands each time but also from anything he had robbed from his victims along with the berries made from selling those captured as slaves.

His actions helped him gain a large amount of berries which had helped in purchasing many types of weapons illegally and it helped them to secure their place on the island so that nobody would mess with them.

They had even built a partnership with several local pirate groups and slave traders who had some involvement in their illegal business schemes.

Many men with a couple of women stepped out into the open as they each held their guns in hand while some held some swords or knives.

Alyssia stood on the wall calmly as she observed them all. "It seems that you have taken my warning too lightly. Ghost.. there is no need to hold back so just kill them."

She did not know the details of the pirate group that was occupying the sunken castle that she had purchased but she could detect their intent to harm her.

Many of their eyes full of ill intent towards her let her feel disgusted so she took a step forward and fell to the ground and landed within the walls. "Now.. what should I do with you all? White Serpent Kick or Twin Serpent Kick are too destructive so that is a no.. hm.. lets go with those!"

Many guns were aimed at her body ready to fire as she activated her Electro and then disappeared from her original position in between two people.

She reached out with two small orbs of Electro in her hands and pushed them towards their bodies which created a small destructive force as each attack was filled with more than enough energy to kill a strong or durable body. "Double Electro Rasengan!…no I mean, Electro Ball!"

As the electro balls dispersed and the enemies found her location she then disappeared again, many times she slipped past their line of sight and attacked before slipping away again.

One attack she used an Electro Ball in her hand and pushed it against her opponents body while other times she poked their body with her finger as it stopped close but released a shot of Electro that travelled through them. "Electro Death Beam!"

Another time she appeared before a man and her arm had a large amount of Electro flickering on it as she thrust it forward. "Chidori! Cough, Electro Knife!"

Another time she appeared behind a man and her thumb and fingers were coated with Electro as they gripped between their neck and shoulder. "Vulcan Death Grip! Cough, Electro Grip!"

"Electro poke!"

"Gaah!"

"Catch her quickly otherwise we will all di.. aaah!"

"Bang!"

"Hey you shot me! Watch where you..argh!"

"Electro death beam!"

"Electro grip!"

"Electro knife!"

"Electro ball!"

"Guh.."

"Arg.."

"Hu.."

"Run.."

"Monster.."

"Please.."

"Spare.."

"No…"

Chaos descended upon the cruel and bloodthirsty Flintlock Pirates as Alyssia continued showing her absolute superiority as she was practically toying with them as she tested the various applications of her improved Electro manipulation thanks to the addition of Enel's Thunder Fruit power knowledge along with her larger amount of Electro stored within her power core.

While most of her moves were quite simple or not as destructive as what Enel could do, it was mostly because she held back and wished to not damage the surrounding land that she had just become the owner of.

However it was more than enough to kill or incapacitate many of the pirates and while she was busy causing chaos and distracting them, Ghost was able to soon approach them as she started to bite several of them inflicting a fatal wound or a small wound but even a small wound from her was fatal enough to kill if even a small amount of the venom enters their body.

Leno was growing increasingly impatient as he had already fired off many rounds of his gun and held a cutlass in his other hand.

His eyes were turning red as his body started changing shape very quickly as he realised the urgency and danger around himself.

His body started to become more stocky and muscular that let him be able to fight off enemies far above his own strength and size.

His fighting instincts were enhanced and razed sharp claws and teeth allowed him to easily lacerate his enemies flesh and allowed him excellent digging capabilities.

As he completed his hybrid transformation, his instincts and confidence grew allowing him to respond faster than normal against Alyssia's attacks.

Weasel Weasel Devil Fruit, Model Wolverine was the power that he possessed and his body had completely inherited the strong fighting power that let him fight beyond his original capabilities so as Alyssia reappeared by him and attacked, he was quick to respond but not fast enough to avoid any damage as he dropped his weapons and started trying to slash her before she escaped after using a finger pistol to his shoulder.

One of his arms had been slightly damaged from the first confrontation as Alyssia was far too flexible and agile allowing her to avoid any attack while getting close enough even after Leno had experienced an explosive growth in strength.

The Devil Fruit made him capable of fighting far above his bounties capabilities so many would struggle against him unless they were someone with a high Marine ranking or a little less fighting strength than the weakest of the CP7 team within Water Seven.

Either he had had his power for a long time and only exposed it when needed to overcome stronger opponents or he had just acquired it after building up his berries through his many schemes and criminal actions but the overall Devil Fruit turned him into a natural fighter which made him have no use for his favourite flintlock and cutlass.

Alyssia appeared in his blind spots and stabbed him many times before disappearing again until Leno became desperate.

His arm swung out and slashed the nearby stone wall and caused a large amount of damage to it so Alyssia frowned as she coldly ordered. "Ghost, do not kill him. Restrain him completely."

Just as Leno tried to make a desperate attempt to escape as he was digging into the ground to quickly burrow a hole, Ghost wrapped herself around his waist and continued to trap him as she curled around his body more.

At first he slashed her with his claws and bit her but he could not break past the scales on her body, he tried to change into his full wolverine form but Ghost was unusually perceptive as she adjusted her hold on him when he started his transformation.

When he was fully restrained, Alyssia reappeared after taking something out of her bag and she placed some Sea Prism cuffs on his wrist which made him transform back to his original form. "Tsk.. what a useful ability but it is wasted on someone like you."

Alyssia started tending to his wounded body so that he did not bleed out and then started cleaning up the battlefield whether it be burning or burning the dead.

She then entered the castle where there were many victims and captives of the Flintlock Pirates. "You may remain here but you have to work to be able to prove your worth. If you wish to leave then do so when it is safer to do so."

She then picked up the Sea Snail from her bag and spoke. "Arrange for everyone to arrive and assist with clearing a path and rebuilding of the land. I do not know what will come next but I can expect that trouble will follow soon."

Alfred spoke on the other side. "Mm.. we have prepared many ships and have already departed from Baldimore so we will arrive soon."

Alyssia had acquired the Eternal Pose along with the deed which allowed her to easily navigate to Rica Island but the others had to use her Vivre Card to locate it since it was not one if the islands they had visited before or had access to their Eternal Poses. "Good, I will clean up here and await your arrival."

As she started exploring the castle she quickly realised that it had around three floors, a lookout or attic at the top of the castle and a large space underground which could be used as a dungeon or secret room for her projects.

Since she had freed many people from the prison cells and other torture devices in the underground space, she pushed Leno into a cell and made sure that he would have no chance to end his own life or escape. "Hmm.. so the ground floor is beneath the ground along with the original gate or door so everyone had to enter by the window and install doors there on the first floor. The underground space is far below that and is very spacious so that is good. A bonus is that they both have not been properly buried by dirt and dust from the inside so maybe I should thank the previous owners or those before them for maintaining and cleaning it out for me. Saves me any extra work!"

Her only worry was that she would have to name the first floor as ground floor, the ground floor as basement floor one and below that basement floor two while naming the second floor as first floor and so on since the level of the land had changed upon the castle being sunken into the ground.

Alyssia sighed as she looked over to Ghost. "Good job! Today has been very fun but also beneficial.. we just obtained another test subject and Zoan Devil Fruit. This should help further the research into Devil Fruits and replication or creation. After a couple of tests.. heh.. this poor man will have to join Enel in his fate once I decide who to assign his power to."

She started to contemplate over who would be the most suitable. "This power would help a non combatant gain great power and ability to fight or even escape but it would also be best used by someone better suited to its power and can use it to its full potential in melee combat. Ein, Yvie, Aizah or Pascia would most benefit from the improvement to their physique, bonus battle instincts and options for combat the most while Archie or Liushi have styles that are more suited to it."

The images of a wolverine bear covered in armour flashed in her mind along with Liushi's style of combat that uses his hands to attack merged with the improved instincts and powerful lacerating power of the claws was something that fit them both quite well in some ways.

Ein, Aizah, Yvie and Pasicia would be vulnerable to attacks without their combat suits or weapons or equipment equipped on their bodies so when they entered a city or store, they may have to not bring them and would be unable to defend themselves as well as they could before so they needed an extra trump card to help boost their abilities.

Although they each were growing at a fast pace compared to others with the resources and training available to them, Ein was older and average in strength upon meeting Alyssia and had not undergone a lot of training as she focussed on her research and improvement of her mechanical weapons while Yvie had a poorer start than others and had to recover.

Although Yvie had a poor start, she did possess potential for combat and was young so she would soon catch up if given enough time while Aizah and Pascia both had healthy and strong bodies which was created by their environment or profession.

There were other options like Carrot or Alfred but Alyssia had other ideas for them if they were to acquire a power of their own.

Even Ashwin may gain from having his power rise but he was much too interested in enhancing himself with Dials and other scientific weaponry while Monera and Sunila were not suited to slashing attacks since they already had their own specialty.

She then gave up thinking about it. "Never mind… I will just have to wait to hear their opinions after explaining the powers gained along with the appearance changes. Then we can decide who to give it to."
