Just Tonight Part: 10

(Regina's POV)

She raced as fast as she could to get to Emma she knew she was taking a chance at trying to get to her before she left town and went to god only knows, "Please Please Please don't go" Regina prayed in her head and soon she saw Emma's car in the distance "thank god" she pushed her foot down as hard as she could and then came to a stop and rushed out of the car towards a stunned looking Emma "oh thank god Emma where are you going?" Regina said as she pulled her in for a hug. "Regina? what are you doing here?" Emma said as she finally found her voice. "I came after you Emma, I came to find you to talk to you to tell you that I love you and I don't want to lose you again" Regina leaned in to cup Emma's face in her hands to kiss Emma but was cut off by a cough and seen Emma's daughter looking at them "oh um... maybe we could talk over a coffee or something that is if you want to?" Regina asked as she looked hopeful at Emma "Regina I can't go back there right now its too much right now" Emma said as she looked at anything but Regina "oh" Regina said as she backed up and ready to leave heartbroken from the rejection again trying her best to keep her tears at bay. "No wait Gina" Emma said as she walked to where Regina was and held her hands for a moment "I need to get away for a few days clear my head... maybe you" "Yes" Regina asked as Emma looked into Regina's eyes "I didn't get to ask you anything" Emma said with a smirk "I don't care what it is you want you can have it so yes whatever the question is" Regina replied with so much hope in her eyes "wow ok I would like you to come with us just for a few days away from this town and away from all the drama and we can talk and see what we both want for us going further in to whatever this is between us I don't want to lose you either I love you too so much" Emma said and kissed Regina lightly on the lips and turned to her daughter "What do you think? are you ok if Regina comes too?" she got an eager nod and a "Henry too?" with a shy smile and Emma looked back to Regina "How bout it mills fancy a break away? the four of us?" Emma held out her hand for Regina to take and without hesitance Regina took it and they walked towards Emma's car. "Shit" Emma said as she remembered her car wouldn't work "The engine died in the car and the battery died in my phone so I couldn't call Michael to come fix it" Emma then heard Regina laugh at her and she looked at her "I'm sorry Em its just I've never been more happy with your choice of transport than I am right now" she smiled kissed Emma's pout and took out her phone and proceeded to call Mr Tillman after a few minutes she ended the call and called her babysitter to let her know she would be picking her son up soon " Ok that's all sorted out for you, Mr Tillman shall pick up your car in the hour and take it to his garage, In the meantime I was thinking I can pick up Henry pack some clothes for a few days and we can all be on our way" she smiled "Yeah sounds great but wait who will look after the town if the mayor is gone all of a sudden?" Emma asked as Regina took her hand and said" It's perfectly fine I will contact my secretary and she can forward me any emails that are urgent and I will have her look after the town for a few days" she leaned in and kissed Emma again this time lingering for a bit longer "ok so lets go" Emma said as the three gathered the stuff they needed and headed back to Regina's car and back to her home .............
