Just Tonight : Chapter 9

(Emma's POV)

She finally got home she was frantically running through the place and grabbing everything she could not being able to think or feel anything just loss. All she had hoped on her return home after so long away had been shattered along with her heart why should she stay nobody wanted her here and she couldn't stand to see her father after all he had done to her over the years and since she got back, no she had to leave and never come back even though she would have loved to try again with Regina she knew the woman wouldn't want her she had turned her stupid proposal down even though Emma knew it was way too soon to be even asking, she didn't know where that came out of but she did think that maybe if Regina truly still loved her she would say yes and they would have a long engagement while becoming a real family one she always wanted and now she knew that's not how things would go for her nothing ever went right for her so she finished packing and she left with her daughter. All she could hear was her heart in her chest and the questions from her daughter asking what was going on and why were they leaving but Emma just sighed and kept a firm grip on the steering wheel ready to leave this godforsaken town once and for all..........

(Regina's POV)

Regina drove as fast as she could to see Emma she needed to see her and tell her how she felt she realised that all she needed was her family that hopefully now would include Emma and her daughter she knew Henry would love a sister someone to play with and he wouldn't feel so alone all the time. A smile graced her face as she thought of a scene where she was tending to dinner for her family as both children sat at the kitchen table doing homework together smiling and giggling to each other then she would be waiting patiently for her love to come home from work to wrap her arms around her and would kiss her tenderly on the lips then joining everyone at the table in the dinning room. Yes she could see it all now and her heart beat a lot faster as she reached Emma's place but found her car was gone. Regina then got out of the car and looked through the window to see the place a wreak then it dawned on her "She's Gone" tears forming in her eyes as she ran to her car to try to catch up with Emma hoping she hadn't gotten too far and she could talk her into staying even just so she could tell Emma she wanted her and her place was with her..............

(Emma's POV)

Emma sighed as she could see the town line ahead she was leaving and never coming back she needed to all that happened since she was back was hurt people and lose her mother she didn't need to be here anymore she could leave and finally let go. Let go of her father her, her friends, her home and finally Regina. As she thought about the last person she felt an ache in her heart she loved Regina and she knew that once again she would be losing her one true love all over again but maybe this was good for her Regina would be better off without her like everyone else had told her. She always felt Regina was too good for her and now she knew that Regina knew this too. A small tear moved slowly down her cheek and she tried to wipe it away before her daughter saw and asked what was wrong but alas she wasn't fast enough "Mom what's wrong?" was all she heard before she heard a bang and the car started to swerve and she grabbed the steering wheel to try not hit the trees carefully she got the car to the side of the road and could pull in safely to assess the damage. Emma got out of the car only to curse at what she saw "Fuck" she said as she seen her tyre had blown out, she moved to the trunk of the car to get the spare but as she opened it she remembered leaving it as she needed the extra space for all her stuff she brought not knowing she would actually be leaving most of it behind her, she kicked the side of the car and got back in looking for her phone "FUCK"............
