The subsequent tests were drastic and Luna was going even lower on the score list, she was fifth now.

She knew Selasi couldn't watch all the women by himself so she improvised.

She met Elu and told her the news…

"I'm going to spy on them as a palace maid."

"But your Highness, let me do it. Not you, you shouldn't demean yourself like that."

"I've already applied and gone through the test, besides, it would be fine."

"But your Highness...why?"

"Luna's failing the mission.", Selasi said.

"What?", Elu asked.

"Thanks for saying it that plainly."

"Why? Should I have used a euphemism? Okay… she can't do the mission."

Elu looked at Luna with hope, fear and innocence in her eyes.

Luna took a deep breath and left.

Lulu had brown hair and brown eyes, pale white skin and looked a little less beautiful than average. That ought to keep away unwanted attention.

Lulu looked at the main hall, it was covered in dust and she had to mop it all up, alone.

The palace had a few staff for the maximum safety of the prince and only the best of the best were hired, that was why Luna had to take a test…

The auto mop she held would make the work much easier, but not much faster. She just looked at the job before her and sighed.

She ran into his arms and apologized but he was surprised.

"Sorry for what?"

Particle fountain is the name given to floating fountains.

"Yes."

"Well if you… hack into the robots you could make them do anything, like this."

He entered some code into his microphone and the water shot up, spread across the ceiling then poured down as rain. It then spun quickly on the floor and rose up, dirty and brown. Then it flew over the bucket and deposited the dust in the bucket, bone dry.

It then went back to the fountain and continued its activities.

She thanked him and looked into his green eyes. They were stuck for a moment then looked away.

He can hack? That's unusual for a guard.

"Thanks so much for your help."

"Anytime… are you new? I've never seen you in the palace before."

"Yeah I just began today."

"You sound familiar."

Oh no, I forgot to change my voice!

"Oh no I don't, we have never met before."

"You don't have to lie to me."

Eeeek!!!

"What?"

"I can tell when people are lying, I don't know how, I just can."

"Fine, maybe we've met before."

He nodded.

"If you ever need any help just give me a call, I'm the prince's Royal angel."

A Royal angel is the Saggezian equivalent of an Imperial guard. But they are usually more than one per royal so there could be shift changes.

He laughed when he saw her eyes widen.

"You're a Royal angel?"

"Yes I am."

She was speechless.

"Well I have got to go, my shift begins soon.", He said and left
