When Ryan got home he could feel someone watching him, he frowned before making his mom food and setting it to the side, he also put the rest of the food up for himself. Walking back to his room he stopped and frowned, he could smell something in his room that wasn't there before.
Someone had been looking at his things, the whole place smelled like someone else's cologne, that was something he wasn't expecting to come home to. He didn't know whose it was either, he had never been around someone who smelled like this before.
The person had walked all around his room while also touching things, he also seemed to try and get into his computer but couldn't get into it. He was getting angry now, especially when he saw the little ripped side of Lydia's picture on the wall, the one most touched was Allison's though like they were looking at it real carefully.
Letting out a breath he took everything out his backpack except for his biology book, he stuffed in some draw supplies before leaving, he planned to take a break later and work on his new manga he thought of. Taking one last look around and making sure everything was locked again he left his room, he was hoping that the person couldn't be supernatural.
The mountain ash was---- He paused looking near the front door, the little line of mountain as he had there was broken, it seemed his mom had stepped on it when she came in. He could only sigh, he would need to fix that later, well more like find a different way to put it in.
Shaking his head he left a note for his mom before leaving, he knew that she was still fine since he took a look through his clones eyes, at the moment she was in the car driving home. Since she was fine he stopped looking, sending a text to Lydia he waited to see if she was ready for him, he decided to Shadow Walk there, it just seemed safer.
Lydia- Come on over.
He was already walking through the dull void to get there, when he saw the message he appeared in her room, at the moment she was sitting at her desk going through her computer. "Hello there." He said letting her know of his presence.
At least she didn't jump or anything when he said that, she did pause a moment but then looked back at him, "Hey. So I already got started and am working on Mitosis. What are you going to doing yours on?" She asked while smiling at him.
"I haven't decided yet I----" He paused there while looking out the window, it was slightly open and the breeze brought in a certain scent. The same one he was smelling in his room when had gotten home, looking at the edge of the woods he saw Derek Hale.
It was someone he has only seen a certain amount of times, he was someone that came back to town but wasn't easy to stalk but considering what he knew now he knows why. Frowning he saw the guy raise a brow at him, he shot the guy his own frown while walking towards the window.
"Hey Lydia, I will be back soon. Derek Hale is outside, he is a werewolf. The guy was searching my room earlier today for some reason, I am going to go figure out why." He said with his grin getting a little more savage.
She stood up and walked to the window, she also looked down to Derek, "He is hot. Not you hot but hot in the bad boy sense of way." She said while leaning on his side, "Go ahead. I will be here working."
Ryan kissed the top of her head before disappearing, Derek seemed to hear them as he took off into the woods, Ryan wasn't going to let him get away though and chased him. Along the way he picked up his bow from his hows along with some arrows, he didn't know how but he seemed to be able to track Derek.
They both paused in a clearing in the woods, coming out of the void he fired off an arrow right to Derek without a word, Derek's eyes went wide as the arrow flew. He went to move but another was right behind it, this one was a special one he got from the Argent's it was a flash bang arrow, it hit the ground blinding him.
Ryan took that moment and rushed over, he had been preparing himself so without hesitation he took to arrows slamming them into his hands. They went half way down pinning him to the ground, Derek let out a roar while trying to get out but the silver was burning his skin as he moved.
"So I am only going to ask this once, and only once. Why were you in my room?" Ryan said with another arrow notched about to fire it right between his brows, he didn't have the same code that the Argent's had. If someone was a threat to his mom then he would end that person, she was the only relative he had left and wouldn't lose her.
Derek was listening to his heart beat and knew he wasn't lying, at the moment he was looking death in the eye, this kid was getting ready to end him. "I was checking you out. I have seen you following Scott and watching him. I thought you were the Alpha, then I saw you with those hunters so it couldn't be you seeing as you never attacked them, same as you not doing anything on full moons but sitting in your room.
Then I saw you the other day using your powers with that Lydia girl, so I was trying to figure out what was going on with you. So want to explain that to me, because other then druids I know of no other type of people that can use anything close to magic." He explained while looking Ryan in the eye.
Ryan raised a brow, "You seem to think that you have the upper hand here. With a slight release you do realize that you will die right? To me you are nothing more then a werewolf that is a threat to my mother."
He didn't have a fear of explain this to anyone, in fact he wanted everyone to know his bottom line. Basically it was touch his mom and you died, there was nothing else, well expect for Allison but his life and his mothers also depended on her staying alive too, which kind of sucked at the moment.
Derek didn't say anything, he laid there looking up at the kid in front of him, the kid was nothing like Scott who was panicking about his life at the moment. Even after only a couple of training sessions he could see this kid had no hesitation, he meant what he said, which was something that Derek could respect about the kid.
"Alright anything else I should know then?" He asked.
"Yeah, don't touch Allison either. Although not as important as my mom I have a promise to someone to make sure she stay's alive, so if something happens to her then it happens to you." He explained wanting to make sure at least one more person looked out for her to get extra protection.
Derek nodded, "I can promise that, can't speak for the rest of her family though."
Ryan nodded not really caring about that, his only concern was her, he didn't really care about the rest of her family since they weren't that warm to him either. Putting the arrow away he started to walk away, from behind he could hear Derek calling out to him though so he stopped and turned around looking at him with a raised brow.
"Umm, not to mess up your cool walk away or anything but do you mind helping me out here? I would rather not have a hunter come across me and finish what you have started." He said while looking towards the arrows in his hands.
Ryan coughed into his hands looking a little embarrassed, he forgot all about that, he actually wasn't trying to walk away looking cool, it was more of him just wanting to leave. Derek was just lucky that he didn't Shadow Walk first, when he was inside there he couldn't hear things, but he could apparently track whatever he was looking for.
Walking over he pulled the arrows out the Shadow Walked away, he didn't want anything to happen to him, he was able to surprise Derek the first time. He still wasn't clear if he was working with the Alpha or if he was alone, plus he still wasn't clear on Derek's strength.
From his question's though he knew that Derek wasn't the Alpha but he was looking for it, he seemed to have some hate for it too seeing the way he talked about it. That was at least people he could clear, a name did pop up into his head though.
Peter Hale.
This guy was apart of the first mission he got, seeing as he was related to Derek in some way then it was clear that he might know something. Sighing he put it to the back of his mind at the moment, things were still calm at the moment, it also wasn't clear why the Alpha was even attacking people at the moment.
Instead of worrying about it more he went back to Lydia's, he left the bow in the shadow's while appearing in her room. He made a little noise which made he look back, he watched as she looked over his body, she seemed to be checking to see if he was okay if the breath she released was anything to go by.
"Good. Let's get to work then." She said smiling patting the chair she put next to her own.
He smiled, he would tell her later about everything if she wanted to know but at the moment he didn't tell her anything and just grabbed his bag taking his place. Opening his biology book he got to work, it was due Friday but he was hoping to have it done by at least Wednesday, Thursday at the latest depending on what he would include.
