Ep. 76 - Test, New Era

After exactly 9 days from the end of the final battle, I decided that it was time for me to test my hypothesis aka almost confirmed idea. I stopped time in this universe yet again, and opened a portal.

Now, let me explain a little better my idea. The first evolution was basically to unseal our potential, which was inherently locked due to us using a cultivation type that theoretically only goes up to Origin God. We were already stronger due to our Multiversal travels, so this universe allowed us to officially step above.

The second evolution was a demonstration of power. We were worthy of our titles as Demon Empyreans, therefore evolved.

This third evolution must have to do with the amount of energies we have and how 'attuned' to our dominant law we are. After getting Chakra, Natural Energy, and all sorts of Ki energies, I am sure that this is at least a part of it. Since I also gained a lot of knowledge, I believe it also has something to do with my law. If I am at the level of God of Gods right now, I need to reach the Origin of these powers, the Origin of Knowledge. I will see if I am at least on the right track today.

I stepped through the portal and arrived in a park in some random city on Earth. I used Omnipotence to gain all knowledge gainable in this place, and I was pleasantly surprised. Well, not really, I can pretty much decide which universe I want to go, but I need to be careful of alternate universes. At any rate, I am in Bleach. Since I wasn't really interested in the universe, I just got over with Reiryoku. I started with sensing it, then used my Aura to push it in my heart. I immediately started producing Reiryoku. Pretty nice, onto a new universe.

New portal, new universe. HunterxHunter, again, I used Omniscience and forced my Aura Nodes open, then started controlling them. Pretty easy. This Aura is pretty similar to RWBY's aura, actually it's almost the same. I forced it into my heart with my Aura and they fused together. Ten came pretty natural and could easily create a second skin layer to protect me. I will never use it, but who cares. Zetsu was way too easy and I could completely hide my Aura. Ren was a joke, so let's skip how I could do it easily. Hatsu was useless to me, just a low-level technique to a God. Onto the next one.

Another portal and I found myself in a universe I want to visit again with the whole group: Overlord. I used Omniscience to learn everything there was to learn, in particular about World Items that were basically equal to Noble Phantasms. I also pushed some Mana into my heart and started producing it. Good, now a new one.

I visited several universes which I will never visit again since they are boring. I gained a lot of knowledge, that's for sure. I got the Midi-chlorian from Star Wars and modified them a little like I did with the S-cells, Haki from One Piece, which was trickier since it isn't something I can simply produce but came naturally to me, Ethernano from Fairy Tail, and Cosmo from Saint Seya, which I personalized a bit so that it works in tandem with my integration with Merlin. Since I was there, I created my own constellation in my Inner World and created a personalized Cloth tied to it, which far surpasses anything those idiots have seen in their world. Oh, I am obviously capable of fully utilizing these energies and all of their abilities. Who do you take me for? I am a God, a God I tell you!

Anyway, with eight new energies and eight universes of knowledge, I returned to the Tensura universe.

Now, I am still keeping time stopped since I don't know exactly what will happen, if anything at all. Therefore, I left a message floating in the air which read: 'If by any chance I start Evolving, throw me into a time-dilation area. Will tell you after I wake up.'

I made time move again and I heard the Voice.

Nothing? Seriously? What the fuck? I refuse to accept this. I need to know… I need the knowledge of what lies beyond this realm. What will I be able to do? I already have the Omni powers, so what else is there? I can't stay like this, with a major case of blue balls…

Fuck it. I modified my message and said: 'Do not disturb, concentration needed.'

I then sat and started meditating in a time-accelerated bubble. How can I evolve. What do I need? More knowledge? No, I feel like it's enough as it is. More energies? But… They are kinda redundant. Ok, there is a last universe which I want to use as a recreation spot in the future. Guess I will take their knowledge first.

I created a portal and quickly went to the Highschool DxD universe. I got the knowledge on anything worthwhile and started producing their Demonic Power, Holy Power, and Magic.

Ok… I am about to fuck this universe in so many ways the Kama Sutra will be useless afterwards… Argh, last possibility I can come up with: I have the prerequisites, just not in the right form, basically details.

I started concentrating on everything in my body: my flesh, my cells, S-cells, Midi-chlorian, the various energies I have inside of me, and my heart. I then tried compressing every energy as much as I could, then weaving them together and compressing the resulting 'plait'. In the end, I came up with a single, Omnipotent type of energy. This should theoretically be able to work literally everywhere in the Multiverse and power every single power and technique out there.

The Voice spoke again and I got excited for a second:

And I blacked out with a smile on my face. Take this, you bitchy voice! Details! I couldn't evolve due to details!

I didn't even notice how the gang arrived and fainted due to the power surge that spread from me. Oops!

Well, our maids were luckily safe since they are just Goddesses, so they are less sensible to the energy I released. Luminous and Vados were particularly worried about us, while Milim cared about Diana and Ariel. Hinata was very confused and scared, thinking that something happened to us, but she saw the energy shell forming around me and calmed down. That was a sign of evolution, and the others' reaction should be due to that. How do I know all this? Omniscience and time laws.

At any rate, the gang woke up a week later and saw the message I left, then started accelerating time around me. I was experiencing several googols every second they experienced, and yet I remained inside my shell for an entire month. That is a lot of time to evolve.

As I was breaking through the shell that had surrounded me, I was also assimilating it, and it was a great idea, since it was basically pure power condensed for a few million googols. Well, I was also releasing a shit-ton of Omni Energy, which again knocked out the gang.

I felt… No different from before. The fuck?

I went into SE White Slate form and tried seeing if there was anything different. It felt more unnatural now, as if it was not enough power, so I decided to go ahead and find some new form that wouldn't feel wrong. I went through a few thousand transformations until I found one that felt nice. SE Incarnation, no need for fancy names now. Though… I want to know what lies ahead of this transformation, so I continued. In the end, I stopped after a couple hundred more transformations and named this form SE White Incarnation. It felt like the limit of what my body can continuously handle, which means that it is absolutely overpowered.

I checked on my body itself and found that it is a collection of data now. I had flesh before, now as well, but I recognize it as information, knowledge. Hm… Basically, an overall improvement. My heart now can pump out anything I have knowledge on and fuse it into my Omni Energy, so I don't even need to 'kickstart' it myself. Amat-Mamu is… Interesting. If I consider the universes I went to as the 'originals', now I can use those as basis to observe everything in their alternate universes. Basically, my Omniscience and Omnipresence fused into a skill that extends to every universe I have been to and its offshoots. Pretty nice. This means I have even more types of energy than before now, like Darkness from Destiny.

There is something I am missing… Shit! Merlin! I checked my Soul and again I found a cocoon. Since I am an extra, I summoned my throne and increased the time-dilation between the inside and outside of this room. I sat down and started pushing all of my energy towards Merlin.

[Master, she doesn't have Omni Energy and has never used it. This evolution could go horrendously wrong if she doesn't receive any. You will have to supply it yourself until her evolution is complete.] said Amat-Mamu. I guess that in some alternate universe, Merlin's evolution failed or transformed her into a monstrosity of some kind.

I sat there for countless googols. Since I extended the time-dilation to the entire room, when the gang came to check on me, I could talk with them.

"Hey there! Missed me?" I asked.

Weiss took her rapier and tried stabbing me, several times. Yang started punching me, while Ruby, Freya, and Loki wanted to know what happened.

"Basically, to achieve our next evolutions, you need to have enough types of energy and fuse them into a single type: Omni Energy. You also need to have a certain 'attunement' to your dominant law, since you will become Incarnations of your law. This will make the evolution harder for Pyrrha, Ais, and Yang. There is no need to worry however, for I can have you experience all sorts of wars, revenges, and adventures thanks to my new Skills."

"Yeah, I don't care about that. Why did you stay in here for an entire month?" asked Weiss.

"A month?! Fucking hell… I finished my evolution a few googols ago, but Merlin is still evolving. We need to act as external sources of Omni Energy for our Spirits or it might cause some horrendous results."

"We can't have that! How much more time will it take?" asked Ruby.

"Depends. I can increase the time-dilation further, but I guess at least a couple of days, if not a week."

"How much is the time dilation now?" asked Hecate

"About 50 times what you guys had in the beginning. However, Merlin will only be able to passively absorb the energy, so it will take more time."

"50 times… You monster! How the hell is this even fair?! We actually put in effort to manipulate time to that extent!"

"And it was great, but I am a step above in terms of evolution. Plus, Amat-Mamu now gives me access to many more alternate universes full of knowledge, so my power is constantly increasing."

"I guess that I should have expected something like that. Take your time, we can't have Merlin suffering." said Yang

All in all, it took six more days for Merlin's evolution to end. I had upped the time-dilation and started to feel really lonely, to be honest. Well, I did explore my powers a little aka a lot. I still had the different 'pools of power' that come from the different energies: profound veins, Cosmo, mana pools, magic cores, and so on. They all got an enormous upgrade after my evolution and are now filled with Omni Energy. I tried mixing and mashing them together and ended up with the creation of a new dimension in my body, similar to an Inner World, that acts as the 'tank' for my energy. Well, I have infinite amounts of it, so it is quite useless, but you never know.

I explored my transformations, and found that I could actually make SE White Incarnation much better, which lead to SE WI Evolution. Pretty shitty name as always, but extremely overpowered. Oh, I also got the ability to receive zenkais thanks to my 'Heart of Knowledge', so my transformation now automatically damages me so that I can get stronger. pretty nice, in particular since a zenkai for an Omnipotent being is an enormous jump in strength. If I were to loose control over my pressure now, I would probably kill my friends, which would be a problem…

I checked on my Shipgirls and Gungirls with a clone, and they are doing great! I modified the laws related to them, so they are considered a single entity. Let me explain. I have several tens of Shipgirls, but to the world, it's a single existence. Same with the Gungirls. This allowed them to become Origin Goddesses of Primordial Ships and Primordial Weapons. A pretty big jump in power, if I do say so myself. If I had to 'rank' them as animals, they would be pretty big lions now. Shitty analogy, but if we consider that most beings in this universe are nothing more than bacteria now… They are strong.

At any rate, Merlin's evolution finished. She materialized and took her place on my lap.

"Did you miss me?"

"Hm… Nah!"

She smiled and kissed me.

"Come on, we've spent more than a month evolving. We should get out."

Oh, if you are wondering, Merlin became an Incarnation of Love and Incarnation Spirit. We integrated as always and left the room. I also returned time to its original state. I found the gang seated at the Round Table.

"Oh shit… Did I do something? Why so serious?"

"Let's start with the fact that you went to new universes again!" said Yang

"They were pretty boring, though I did nothing, literally. I just took the knowledge and copied their energy, then I left. I wanted to evolve, not explore."

"Then there is that. Why did you want to evolve that badly? Were you weak before?" asked Weiss.

"It's not about strength. It was curiosity. I needed to know what was beyond. For now, my curiosity has been sated, but I will probably experience something similar in the future. I am the Incarnation of Knowledge, it's normal for me to seek answers. Sorry, if I got you worried."

"Onto a more light-hearted topic: we can evolve, right?" asked Sun

"Yes, though I think we could first revive the 'good' people that died in the war a month ago, then go onto your evolutions."

"We already did that. We also eliminated all memory of war from the mortals' minds. All the decent government officials were manipulated into serving Rimuru. The world is at peace, finally. The Demon Lords are either our maids, wives, or dead. Oh, the slime evolved as well while you were out. She became the last True Demon Lord and 'Origin Goddess of Primordial Devouring'." said Loki

"Devouring, huh? Well, fine then. Let's get you all evolved, then we can enjoy this peaceful era."

"Pfft! Hell no! It's boring as fuck now! Let's retrieve Rimuru and go to another universe!" said Yang.

"Fine by me, there are a couple I visited that might be interesting, or alternate universes."

I spent the next year or so having my friends evolve. Since this is a pretty big change, I had them go one by one, so that we could all help if something went wrong. Hinata in the end fell for my innate charm aka persistence and became my wife. She is also an Incarnation now, the Incarnation of Fate, basically the ruler of cause and effect. Really strong, by the way. I gave her a copy of Great Red as a familiar and Brynhild as a Spirit. And you can imagine how good Hinata looked with Brynhild's outfit.

The world started advancing by leaps and bounds. Better communication, roads, trading systems, a single government that actually works hard, a literal Goddess in the lead, and the 'backing' of a group of Incarnations… You can bet your cheeks that everything worked out perfectly. Hinata and Ruby were particularly happy since they wanted the best for mankind, either because of personality or dominant law.

The government slowly switched from an empire to a republic, a very big one. This made it easier to handle an entire world, but allowed some ambitious people to take power into their hands. They were quickly dealt with by Rimuru, while I broadcasted the execution. A terror campaign eliminated any ambition people could have had. Oh, I mean the 'let's rule the world' kind of ambition, not the 'let's make the world a better place' ambition. Rimuru started joining us in the Tower pretty often recently and had a talk with Weiss, more like she explained the hierarchy to the fresh meat.

Well, this new era is really boring as Yang said. She has been bored most of the year, so I guess that it's time for us to switch gears aka universes.
