CHAPTER 30

Josiah walked into the Cafe and halted, his eyes scanned the room looking for Julie, he frowned when he saw her sitting next to a guy. He began to think otherwise, suspecting that she had been spending time with this guy while pretending to be waiting for him to come. He angrily walked towards Julie with a frown on his face.

Paul looks up and sees Josiah walking towards them.

" Oh look, over there, Is he the one you've been waiting for? "

Paul asked Julie, while pointing to a Tall, slim, young, man dressed in a white shirt and Blue jeans.

Julie looked up and nodded.

She sighed and glared at Josiah.

As Soon as he reached where she was, she got up and held her bag.

" Whose this guy? "

Josiah asked rudely, narrowing his eyes at Paul in disdain.

Julie noticed his behavior and rolled her eyes. She was familiar with his overprotective attitude.

Paul stood up and She introduced him.

" Josiah meet my coworker, Paul, Paul meet my boyfriend Josiah. "

She says politely.

" Nice to meet you Josiah. "

Paul says with a smile as he extended his hand for a friendly handshake.

Josiah ignores him and says in a strict tone without smiling.

" Julie, let's go, I'll be outside, in the car waiting for you. " He glared at Paul, before walking out of the cafe.

Paul gives Julie a questioning look as he sits down, He was slightly embarrassed and confused.

" Seems like he's not the friendly type."

Paul says calmly, trying to hide how offended he was.

Julie apologizes on his behalf.

"I'm sorry. He must have gotten the wrong impression of us. "

" Is he always like that? "

Paul asked, in a concerned tone, worried for Julie.

She sighs and says.

" Yes. "

Paul shakes his head thoughtfully.

Julie puts her phone in her bag, ready to leave the Cafe.

Tired of waiting for her, Josiah slams the car door, he angrily walks into the cafe and goes to meet her.

Paul sees Josiah walking towards him with an angry look on his face, so he stepped aside for him to pass.

Josiah grabs Julie's bag Swiftly and holds her hand tightly, dragging her out of her seat.

" Josiah!" she called his name with warning for him to stop acting dominant towards her while they were in public.

" Josiah, what's wrong with you? "

she spoke in slight anger. Trying to tell him that she didn't like how he was behaving right now. But he ignored her words and held her hand, tighter, taking her out of the cafe.

Paul looked at them as he sat down. He disliked the way Josiah treated Julie. He wondered why someone like her will have someone like him as a boyfriend.

Julie tried to restrain from his grip but he didn't let her go, she didn't want to embarrass herself or create a scene so she gave up trying and followed him till they got to the car.

Dante' walked out of the restroom and sat opposite Paul, who had a disturbed and unhappy look on his face.

" What's the matter? "

He asked him.

" Nothing. " He answered.

" Are you sure? "

Dante' asked in a concerned tone.

" Yes. I just have a slight head ache that's all. " He answered.

" Allright. " Dante' says and resumes drinking his coffee.

He looked beside Paul and asked.

" Where's your friend Julie? "

" She went out with her boyfriend"

Paul answers in a sad tone.

" Oh. " Dante' replies in a casual tone as he sipped his coffee.

Paul sighed and looked outside the window, watching Julie and Josiah as they entered a red car.

When they got into the car.

Julie asked him angrily.

" What was that about? I showed you my colleague and you can't even say Hi to him? Are you that insecure? I'm nice to all your female friends aren't I? So why can't you....? "

" Just shut up okay? I'm not in the mood to argue with you. "

Josiah says harshly, cutting her off before she could finish her sentence.

Julie frowns as she folds her arms. She hates when he yells at her and she hates when he doesn't listen to her.

" Say whatever you like, but we're having this conversation when we get home, I gotta put an end to your offensive behavior and give you a piece of my mind. "

Julie says naggingly.

Josiah ignored her, he flashed her an angry look, started the car and drove off.
