"Not much of a talker now-" 

Words were not audible but stares were exchanged. Yuji ran to the far right as Todo went to the far left. Maki ran right at him, Maki did a short thrust to have Mahito back up further away from her and followed up with a slash to try to graze the curse. As Mahito successfully dodged the two attacks, he was quickly alerted by the two sorcerers trying to do a sneak attack on him.

"Sneaky humans," he doubled his exact body and the copied cat used the original as for something to grip on as it lifted its bottom. Spikes appeared on the double body, ready to launch its pointed knives at their foes until a clap surrounded their eardrums. Todo took over the double position and seized Mahito's head.

"You're not getting away. Go on!" Todo yelled as Yuji and Maki followed his lead. Yuji did three palm strikes on his upper back infused with curse energy and quickly got out of the way for Maki to pierce the iron danger him in the front of his stomach. A victory smirk spread on the Maki's lips as Todo roughly wrapped his arm around Mahito's head trying to rip it off from the owner's neck. 

A deranged chortle left Mahtio's mouth causing the three students in confusion. "It's not easy to defeat me!" he brayed at them. Maki was about to retreat until the spear of hers started to get swallowed by Mahtio's body.

" What the . . ." when she couldn't win over the tug of war she was about to leave the spear with him until Mahito's body finished chewing the weapon and shot it right at her ten folds causing a diminutive explosion. Her body was forcefully knocked away as the heat and the broken pieces of metal faced her body as a whole. Although the explosion was mild it still caused grave damage to her and she was unconscious to continue to fight.

Mahito clapped his together, " Domain expansion," the panic gasp escaped Todo's and Yuji's lips as they were about to attack him, Todo's grips tightened and were about to rip the head of the curse, spikes appeared around Mahito's head making it impossible to do as the sharp spikes that resemble like the thorns on the stem of roses were small but painful as gashing through Todo's hands and forearms. " Self-embodiment of perfections!" Todo managed to have one of his hands-free as the other was trapped onto Mahito's head, the transfiguration was climbing its way onto Todo's forearm and fully trying to take over his body until Todo chopped his forearm causing it to stop. 

Yuji dashed his way to Mahito before the cursed spirit finished Todo off," Not just yet, the grown-ups are goofing around." Mahito's body was halfway squatted as he enthusiastically clapped both of his hands sending a large sum of shards made out of transfigured human daggers in Yujis's direction to slow the teen down. Mahito swiftly switched directions and was running towards Todo with the intent to kill in his eyes. As Mahito was getting closer he gathered most of his energy to infuse into his fist. The same move that was used against him this whole rollercoaster night became his ally. "Black Flash," he yelled as he punched the muscular teen square in the gut. " Now this feels good," Mahito boasted as he pushed Todo's body further away from him. 

The teen chuckled as he used his only hand to slightly rub on top of his stomach. Purple and black bruises were his new color as blood leaked out of his mouth. " If Takada-chan ever sees me in this state, I will not be welcome into her fandom anymore. Her music is not just enjoyable to listen but it will make the manliest man to embrace the message she is putting out. I am that man today cause of her," Todo's chest was pushed out as he angled his hips away. He put his only hand parallel 90-degree angle flat on his hips. "I shall not die today because her concert is three weeks from now." 

Mahito paused for a brief second to process what gibberish Todo was yapping about and that second brought Todo the time in the world to fight back in fashion. With no one but Takada-chan cheering him on from the sidelines, Todo's mood switched and felt a rush of excitement circling his body. He dashes and backhands Mahito and follows it up with an upper kick to land underneath Mahito's jaw. As Mahito's body was in the air, Todo gave him a solid clap and Yuji entered Mahito's field of vision. Giving a taste back to Mahito by doing a Black Flash right in his face. The distance between them is great and Todo silently gives his luck to Yuji because his body doesn't have the will to move forward although his soul speaks otherwise.

Mahito was bending as he was panting for air, he thought he would have a breeze getting through this fight since Higanbana handled the three that would cause him issues. However, dealing with Todo's curse technique took him longer than expected. Fear shivered down his spine thinking about what Higanbana do to him if he took even more time to handle the mortals. " It took long but I found my true soul. It's over for you. . . " he whispers as thrilled takes over his sound of tone. "Idle Transfiguration . . . " he uttered while having a mischievous grin covering his lower face. 

Yuji had seen firsthand how Mahito's body exploded and started to see how grey mush formed together. Within a second the body Yuji once knew as Mahito was different. This new version of Mahito was taller, more muscular, and his energy was passed sinister. Yuji knew he could be on death doors if he wasn't cautious about his movements. " Are you scared now? Why aren't you charging to me anymore?" Mahito taunts Yuji.

" Scared? No. Curiosity? Yes."

" Whatever the case to you, your end is near and I will be reborn into the new world where Higanbana and us curses will rule over."

"I don't know who Higanbana is but I won't let any of you ruin this place anymore."

The stare-off between the two was getting old as they both approached each other with burning rage flowing in their veins, wanting to murder the other person for their own personal reason. As they reached, the blows were exchanged as they dodged one another attacks. Mahito's tail sneakily wrapped around Yuji's ankle, before Mahito yeet Yuji away, the teen threw a right hook blow into Mahito's chest but it was futile cause Mahito's skin was so tough that a simple punch with a little curse energy wouldn't help Yuji in this fight. Yuji knew he had to go all out to be victor.

Mahito used this chance to throw a punch at Yuji, and he sent his sharp blade at the teen giving Yuji no other choice but to back away. " The fun just started!" Mahito screamed with joy as he speed-blitzed. The battle became one side when Yuji couldn't see the attacks that were being thrown at him. Mahito enjoyed of seeing the fire slowly dying in Yuji's eyes when he couldn't land a strong enough punch to injure the curse. Mahito fully grabbed the back of Yuji's head as he leaped into the sky and went back down at full speed to smash the pink-haired teen down to the ground, tasting the bits of asphalt material that stuffed full in his mouth and soon embraced with a full body of water soaking his body up. The street splits into two leaving a huge gap in between it. As Yuji stood u he felt his legs giving up and he wondered if he could keep going, the teen was determined to shut the cursed spirit up for good but his body couldn't keep up.

" I can't fail them. Everyone is depending on me." Yuji gave himself words of encouragement.

"Don't stop now, Yuji!" Mahito playfully yells as he charges at the teen. His arms were wide open letting Yuji embrace the greatness that was upon him as a gleeful smile graced Mahito's lips. Mahito slashed the body of water into two and spun his body at the speed of the Typhoon, ready to slash Yuji's body away. 

Yuji stood there with no fear as he gathered his energy up into one black flash attack to put an end to this fight. Once Mahito knew the trick he was planning he stopped to move away from the attack. " Kyōfu no Tsuru," { TENDRILS OF FEAR}

The ground started to quiver as the vine started to quickly wrap Mahito's body in place and the toxic poison seeped into his body to paralyze him. "DO IT, YUJI!" Gabimaru orders the teen to follow his lead. Yuji charged up his black flash and landed it in the center of Mahito's body and Gabi accompanied him by attacking Mahito in the back. The two took turns throwing Black Flash after another one to weaken the cursed spirit. Soon after the brutal beat down the hard armor disappeared to only revealed a fragile Mahito form of his. Gabi was able to move the blood that had fallen from the gash on his forehead in his eyes as he let Yuji finish it off because his mind was on the mastermind of this whole nightmare and that was Higanbana.

Mahito couldn't run away due to the poison that was preventing him from leaving. Yuji was in front of him with an undefined expression on his face. " You killed so many humans, people who done nothing wrong, civilians who just wanted to live their lives." Yuji took a brief pause and looked directly into Mahito's eyes. " You said us sorcerers killed curses without counting and that's because we are here to protect those who cannot protect themselves and you guys are here to be evil. If that means I have to kill another curse then so be it and you being reborn? I will kill you over and over again. I don't care if you fully change your appearance or name. If I sense your energy then I won't hesitate to kill you and any of your friends like how you did mine." Yuji began to walk again and every step made Mahito's body tremble in fear, worse than what he felt from Higanbana earlier. If he knew this was how he would end he would have let the woman take his life.

Mahito's eyes were bloodshot open as his breath started to escalate. "I finally found my purpose in this world and that was to get rid of all of you." Yuji harshly gripped Mahito's head and made sure his eyes were always on his. "Don't come back here." that was Yuji's final words to his foe and he wished he had done this sooner before all the fallen people had died. Gabi watched the whole thing and didn't utter a single word, he saw his younger self in Yuji and how he was like him when he was his age. He didn't dare to scold Yuji because he would have done the same thing without a second thought.
