Chapter 2: Wandering Immortal

"A cursed spirit's flesh is no fun. Where are the people? The woman?"

"!?" Sukuna became silent for a moment as if he was surprised at something.

"Hahaha, What a wonderful age it has become! Women and children are spamming like maggots. Marvelous, It will be a massacre." But suddenly he put his hands on his chest and crouched down as if he were feeling intense pain.

"!!" Even Megumi was surprised by Sukuna's sudden action, but since he didn't know what would happen, he took a defensive stance.

Hearing Megumi, Sukuna turned to him.

To Megumi, it looks like Sukuna was murmuring to himself. But given that Sukuna doesn't have his previous vigour, Megumi sighs in relief because whatever is happening to Sukuna is an advantage for him.

"Who are you?" Sukuna asked, sensing that Itadori Yuji's soul had been destroyed and a second soul was taking control of his current body and trying to suppress him.

"Me? I don't really have much of an identity, but you can say from this moment onward, I am Itadori Yuji. And can you wait for a moment while I simulate Yuji's memories? It's hard to collect memories from a broken soul; you see." The unknown being asked, and it took only a moment to do so.

Yuji said with worry, but even in front of this kindness, Megumi didn't let his guard down because he didn't know who was speaking to him at that moment; Curse Known as Sukuna or Itadori Yuji.

But as a Jujutsu sorcerer, he needs to make a decision quickly other wise lot of life will be lost and he doesn't have time to hesitate.

'What should I do? I am a failure as a Jujutsu sorcerer but I don't want to kill him.' Megumi thought as he couldn't come to a decision.

"What is the situation?" A voice sounded from the right.

"Wha!?" Megumi turned in the direction of the voice.

There was a very tall, lean, and muscular man in his late 20s, who was considered relatively attractive, mainly due to his facial features. He has snow-white hair and vibrant blue eyes. A black blindfold covers his eyes, propelling his hair into a spiky appearance.

"Gojo-Sensei. What are you doing here?" Megumi called the person who looked like he couldn't care less about anything.

"Yes, I wasn't going to come here, but the higher-ups got involved when they heard a special grade item went missing and they were so annoying that they wouldn't let me rest until I agreed with them. So did you find it?" Gojo asked.

"Yes, I found it, but there's a problem. You see the guy over there; he ate it." Megumi said, pointing his finger at Yuji.

Gojo looked at Yuji, then at Megumi.

"Seriously?"

"Sorry, but there shouldn't be a problem because I can control it," Yuji replied, as he is in the new world, he tries to adapt to it according to the memory he collected from the real owner of the body and because this is not his first time in such a situation, he was able to adjust to the surroundings very quickly.

Hearing Yuji's apologies, Gojo came closer to him and scanned from top to bottom.

"No kidding! It seems they merged, but there seem to be some changes in your... must be because of the merge." Gojo nodded to himself.

"How does your body feel?"

"Nothing, I feel just like I did before."

"Then can you switch to Sukuna?" Hearing Gojo, Yuji became silent. He didn't expect that Gojo would ask something like this.

He planned to remove Sukuna from his body once he had some time alone, but now that Gojo has sensed Sukuna's presence inside him, he can't do that because it would raise suspicions. So he had no choice but to release Sukuna. Before doing so, he needs to make a deal with Sukuna to ensure that Sukuna doesn't reveal the changes in Yuji's body.

"Yes, I can do that, but it needs some time," Yuji said.

"Alright, but take control in 10 seconds," Gojo replied.

"Sukuna, Let's make a deal," Yuji said in front of Sukuna, who was standing face to face in a soul world.

"Deal? Why do you think I would make a deal with you? After all, you stole my body. Now you have to hide yourself from them who think you're Itadori Yuji." Sukuna said.

"I thought so; the moment I saw, I knew you'd ask something like this. You have the air of a tyrant. You asked why you should make a deal with me. If you made a deal with me, then I wouldn't destroy you."

"Who do you think you are to threaten me?"

"Just think about it; I was able to possess this body right under your nose, and you couldn't even do anything about it. Of course, I don't know what position you hold in this world; you could be weak or strong. So Instead of making me do the hard work, can't we just cooperate?" Sukuna was silent for a moment, looking straight into Yuji's eyes.

"Alright, before that, tell me who you really are. Not your current identity or anything, but who you really are. And why are you here."
