When the two elders advanced against Itadori, the young sorcerer narrowed his eyes as he noticed their abnormal speed.

In comparison, he would easily rank them a few steps behind Jogo in that aspect.

"Insolent brat! Accept your fate, and die along with the demon in your body!"

Dodging an attempt to touch him, Itadori struck the speaking elder with a kick that sent him flying, quickly turning to face his next opponent.

But no matter how fast they were, Itadori didn't have much trouble keeping up with them. As long as he stayed alert, he wouldn't need to worry about being paralyzed.

!

Preparing to evade the second elder's hands, Itadori opened his eyes in surprise as a fist appeared in front of his eyes, his head moving just in time to escape the attack.

'A punch? He doesn't want to paralyze me?' Blocking a flurry of attacks from the elder, Itadori landed a precise counterpunch to the old man's face, causing him to stagger. 'A direct confrontation... They're definitely planning something.'

Pushing the elder back with a kick, Yuji noticed something pass by him, his eyes narrowing as he turned in time to block a fist charged with cursed energy.

'This is strange, they could have paralyzed me with these two opportunities...' Grabbing the elder's wrist, he quickly pulled him close and struck him with a precise punch to his solar plexus, sending him flying with a kick. 'Unless...'

!

Turning to look for the second elder, Itadori's eyes widened as he saw the old man about to touch him.

'There must be a condition for the paralysis to work!'

Gritting his teeth as he noticed the first elder also rushing toward him to touch him, he understood how the two's technique worked. 'Both of them need to touch me for the technique to work!'

"Paraly-"

With the elders' hands landing on the young sorcerer's chest and back, they seemed ready to chant, but a wave of rising heat alerted them.

"Eruption!"

Declaring this, Itadori turned to them with a victorious smile, the glow from a small volcano not far from them drawing their attention.

Boom!

With a jet of magma exploding toward them, the elders were unable to escape in time as the attack engulfed them, the monstrous heat burning their skin in seconds.

"I just need to mark a location with my cursed energy, then I can control mini volcanoes remotely." Dusting off his clothes to rid himself of the smoke, Itadori watched as the two elders collapsed to the ground. "That's insane."

Moving through the remnants of the elders' ancient temple, Itadori turned to see where Yuta and the last elder were battling.

"You were great."

Seeing the last elder's body not far away and Yuta sitting while watching with a small smile was quite a surprise.

"Professor Gojo didn't lie when he said you were impressive."

No, not really such a big surprise. In fact, Yuta defeating the elder quickly was quite expected. Itadori couldn't expect less.

"Well, I guess what the others said wasn't a lie either." Dusting off his clothes, Itadori approached nonchalantly, as if the previous fight hadn't even happened. "You were impressive too."

Yuta smiled at the compliment. "So you have a technique similar to mine?"

Sitting on the step of a staircase, Itadori stretched, his gaze resting on the curious boy for a moment. "More or less... You can use copied techniques to their full potential, right?"

"Technically, since using them to their full potential depends on how I use them."

"Well, that's where we differ. When I take a technique, it becomes an extension of my technique..." Choosing his next words, Itadori rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "It's like gaining a skill in a game that starts at level one."

"And you can use them whenever you want? How many have you copied?" Looking surprised, Yuta asked.

"Yes, I can, although the more complex ones require me to understand and interpret them." Answering firmly, his eyes narrowed at the second question, his eyes moving to his hands as he began to count on his fingers in a way that seemed strange to Yuta. "My, cuts, blood, weeds, flame on, and soul."

Murmuring, he smiled as he turned to Yuta. "So far, six!"

And that seemed to shock Yuta, a normal reaction since, even though he could copy any technique, he couldn't use more than three at a time, as it could overload his brain.

So knowing that Itadori could use five at once, and it didn't even seem to be his limit, left him quite shocked.

'The professor was right when he said I'd be shocked.' Blinking, he rid himself of the surprise as he noticed Itadori standing up.

"Hey, since everything's resolved here, we should return." Turning to Yuta, Itadori offered his hand, a gesture that was promptly accepted. "I'm sure some of our colleagues will be happy to see you."

Yuta smiled brightly. "It's been a while since I last saw them."

"Then let's not waste time." Smiling, he patted the boy's back friendly, making him start walking.

But stopping for a moment, Itadori turned to see the lifeless bodies of the elders scattered across the temple.

Contemplating what he had done for a few seconds, he just shrugged with a satisfied smile. "I warned them."

"What?"

"Nothing, I was just thinking out loud."

.

While the battle at the elders' temple was happening, the Zenin clan seemed to be on the move.

With Megumi declared the new leader of the Zenin clan after Naobito's death, Naoya, unlike the other members, seemed the most furious with the decision.

Understandable, after all, as Naobito's son, he should be the only one to succeed him.

Walking through the corridors with Maki and Mai's mother, Naoya couldn't suppress the killing intent exploding from his body.

"Where is Megumi now? And what is he doing?" He asked angrily, directing his question to the woman.

"I don't know the details, but he seems to be looking for Yuji Itadori in Tokyo." She answered obediently.

"Who is that?"

"The vessel of Sukuna."

Stopping, veins bulged on the young Zenin's forehead, his murderous intent increasing shamelessly.

"Then tell the higher-ups that Naoya Zenin will kill Sukuna's vessel... He and Megumi must be together, right?

I will kill both of them."
