The Start!

Opening his Eyes , Noah was puzzled beyond comprehension.

He found himself lying in a pool of thick red liquid which was possibly blood but what bewildered him more was some weird shaped organs were lying around beneath which were some runes which were shining brightly.

"Uh! , my head hurts! , what place am I some cult or something" Noah said

[Good morning , Host]

"Good morning huh! , You know if it wouldn't for emotions being cleaned out , I would have already deactivated you" Noah said in a emotionless tone , as even though he was currently devoid of emotions his past memories helped him to know how to behave according to scenario

[Host knows that I can't do anything that harms you in anyway]

"That's the only reason why I am even bothering to talk to you " Noah said in a deep voice and then said to himself "So , this is anger huh? , it really is like living again from starting , I just hope this gamble I took will help from that personality disorder I have"

"Yes I did, though never had the guts to face it , just connected the dots and that was the most optimal outcome possible" Noah said with same tone as if it was natural

[Man you know you sound really scary , how come you are treating the thing thing that haunted you so easily?]

"Well lets just say I am ignoring what little part is left of the trauma and enough about me , now its your turn" Noah said

[Yes , your mother , as I said previously I would be looking for someone in power but the problem with humans was that there was no powerhouse within them , coupled that with their internal instability , I couldn't find a suitable person to be Host parent]

[That's when I met your Mother (I know , I know , but it just came so naturally 😂) , she had the potential but no straight path , so I made a deal with her]

"Deal?"

[Yes deal , that I help her become a SSS-ranked individual in return she will treat you like her own child]

"Huh? and you believed it? , did you intelligence downgraded or what?"

"Yeah , Yeah and I also remember the sweet punishment I got" said Noah in sarcastically manner trying to mock Pearl for its confident tone.

"Fine but all that punishment for just this little information?" Noah said as he really found it hard , for him to suffer so much for so little

Noah wanted to retort but seeing his reasoning for why he did all this stuff , he couldn't help but sigh and move on situation.

"So, I slept for 150 years huh.." Noah said in a down tone

[Correction 15 years]

"Huh? but didn't it said 150 years? , I think I saw it clearly" Noah said

[Yes the punishment was initially 150 years but I negotiated with system and did few things which decreased your punishment]

"By such a large margin? Hey , I left you without any consequences , are you still trying to test my patience " Noah said as now his patience was finally running out!

[Arg! fine , the deal was like this you will accept some quest given by system without any question asked , you will not be able to use humans leveling system till you become 20 years old i.e. 5 years from your awakening and your luck stat will be nerfed to max. cap acceptable by mortals as previously your luck was so strong that you would have attracted unwanted attention , so in a way Its a blessing in disguise]
