He stared at the Nine-tailed fox in front of him.

"Hello, Master." The giant-tailed beast said, his voice rumbling through the entire Savanah forest that was his mindscape.

"Umm…" he stared at the scroll in his hands which displayed the words

Familiar Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox Captured.

He had really hoped that Kurama would turn into a sexy woman with 9 tails who would be counted as his waifu. He was pretty sure that he had read a few Naruto Fanfictions in which Kurama could do that. But…

That obviously didn't happen.

After 3 days of stamping Kurama with Stamp: Megapixel, the giant fox has become his familiar.

Except he had no idea what a familiar even was.

He looked through the Company device and scrolled down until he finally found a single sentence buried at the tail end of the Catalog.

Familiars

Broadly speaking, a familiar is any pet or creature in your retinue that you are categorically unwilling or physically incapable of having sex with. The most iconic types of familiars are Pokemon and magical girl mascots, though many others are specified in the setting-specific rules and some familiars who are named in the setting-specific rules are humanoid and even present in the catalog listing as waifus or husbandos.

The letter are the only kind that are worth capture credits. Familiars can be captured using local familiar-bonding methods, such rituals or Pokeballs, or Binding-type or Other controls like anyone else, and are not subject to the romantic or sexual interest your Bindings instill in your waifus or husbandos.

No special methods are needed to distinguish a waifu/husbando binding from a familiar binding; the intent is enough. If a character does not have their listed familiar when you capture them, it will be teleported to their location.

He frowned.

Going by this long wall of text, Kurama should have become his Familiar when the 4th Hokage sealed Kurama inside him. Since just like capturing a Pokemon with a Pokeball, Sealing a Tailed beast inside a human was the Capturing method of this world.

Except… he wasn't connected with the Company back then so maybe it didn't work because of it?

He had no idea and he didn't want to waste his brain cells on thinking about this. Especially when Kurama had become his Familiar regardless.

A pity that he won't get a 9 tailed Kyuubi waifu like Yasaka from DxD but he could live with this.

"Hello Kurama." He said in the end.

Then Kurama did something that surprised him.

The giant fox bowed his head to the floor in a kowtowed to him.

"Please forgive me for my rude behavior 3 days ago. Master." Kurama said. "I was not thinking clearly back then."

His face twitched.

What the fuck is up with this180-degree turn in attitude.

"Raise your head Kurama. You're forgiven for your disrespect."

The giant fox raised his head and he once again realized just how fucking small he was when compared to a tailed beast.

He wondered how Large Kurama will become if he added the Yin half of him to the Yang half.

On second thought, he should probably give it to one of his wives.

He'll probably give it to Pyrrha. Or Satsuki, as she was called now.

And the other tailed beasts will go to his wives as well.

Except for the ones that Fuu and Nee Yugito had.

He might not have taken Yugito right now but that doesn't mean that he wasn't planning on taking them later.

As for Gaara…

He was no Naruto. He had no Talk-no-Jutsu so it was unlikely that Garra will ever change his path from a murderous kid to a responsible adult.

So he'll probably take Shukaku as well.

He could always capture Temari, empower her and then make her the Kazekage in Gaara's stead.

He should probably start with the 3 tails as it was simply lying around in a lake somewhere in the Land of Water.

No. Focus on the present.

"Is there anything I can help you with Master?" Kurama asked and he grinned.

"Yes. In fact, I was planning to learn how to use your power without losing myself in anger. Will you help me with that?" He asked. It was unlikely that the Kurama's power would affect him like this. Not when he had the Mind Defense with but he couldn't be sure about it since the power and its influence would be coming from within him rather than from outside.

"It would be my honor Master." Kurama said with a humble nod and he smiled.

The Catalog is such bullshit.
